Jurnal SUPERMAT akan menerbitkan naskah-naskah artikel ilmiah dalam cakupan bidang Pendidikan Matematika. Tulisan dapat berupa diseminasi hasil penelitian, telaah pustaka ilmiah yang komprehensif atau resensi dari buku ilmiah. Tulisan belum pernah dipublikasikan dan tidak sedang dipertimbangkan untuk dipublikasikan di jurnal lain. Secara keseluruhan, naskah harus memuat abstrak, pendahuluan, metode penelitian, hasil dan pembahasan, kesimpulan serta daftar pustaka. Artikel dapat ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia atau Bahasa Inggris. Penulisan menggunakan MS Word, format halaman adalah 1 kolom, tipe font yang digunakan untuk bagian konten artikel adalah Times New Roman ukuran 12 pt spasi 1,5. Artikel dicetak pada kertas berukuran A4 (minimal 10 halaman dan maksimum 22 halaman) dengan batas marjin atas, bawah dan kanan 2,5 cm dan marjin kiri 3,0 cm. Artikel dituliskan tepi kanan dan kiri rata (justified), dan jorokan awal paragraf (first line) 1,25 cm. Tiap halaman harus diberi nomor halaman yang diletakkan di tengah. Jika artikel ditulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan terdapat kata dalam bahasa asing di dalam naskah, maka kata tersebut dinyatakan dalam tulisan miring.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman, seorang guru dituntut untuk memiliki media pembelajaran yang kreatif agar mempermudah proses pembelajaran sehingga tercipta pendidikan yang berkualitas. Untuk itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan media e-modul untuk mempermudah proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan e-modul matematika berbasis literasi pada materi statistika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif agar memudahkan pendidik dalam proses pembelajaran statistika . Untuk kelayakan e-modul yang disajikan telah divalidasi oleh dosen ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Jadi, e-modul layak untuk diujicobakan dan diterapkan kepada pendidik sebagai bahan ajar. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII MTSS Hidayatun Nasiin yang berjumlah 10 orang yang dilakukan melalui penerapan online dengan menggunakan gmeet. Hasil dari uji coba e-modul didapatkan bahwa e-modul dapat membantu pendidik dalam menerapkan pembelajaran statistika. e-modul juga dapat diterapkan melalui offline maupun online. Hasil penelitian E-modul berpengaruh kepada peserta didik, dalam penerapan secara online diketahui bahwa dari 10 orang, 85% peserta didik dapat memahami e-modul, karena dalam e-modul kata-kata yang digunakan dapat membuat peserta didik lebih aktif, desain yang digunakan menarik sehingga peserta didik tidak mudah bosan menggunakan e-modul.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills are needed in learning mathematics. Teachers can encourage students to practice higher order thinking skills through six stages, namely 1) seeking information; 2) submit allegations; 3) conduct an inquiry; 4) make a conjecture; 5) looking for alternatives; 6) draw conclusions. These six stages are very likely to be inserted into RPG-type game content to make it more interesting and increase student learning motivation. The research method used is the development with the Plomp model which consists of a preliminary research phase, a prototyping phase and an assessment phase. The learning media developed in this study is an android game with the title MYTHICS. Data collection techniques used in the form of field notes and validation. The results showed that in the preliminary research phase a literature study and needs analysis was carried out. In the prototyping phase, the game map is made, the game character is created, the storyline is made, the android touch screen control buttons are made, the battle level and problem level are designed in the game, and music is added. Finally, the assessment phase "MYTHICS.apk" was declared valid from the validation results with an average total validation value of 3.785 and was declared practical based on the validator's assessment, where two validators stated that the media could be used without revision and the other two stated that the media could be used with slight revisions.

Abstract

Understanding mathematical concepts is an important element in the mathematics learning process that plays a fundamental role in achieving quality learning outcomes. However, in the context of hybrid learning, it was found that students' understanding of mathematical concepts was still lacking. Therefore, this study aims to apply guided exercise and question and answer methods as a solution to overcome these problems. This learning method was chosen because it has proven effective in hybrid learning environments, where the role of the teacher is very significant in the delivery of material. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how the application of guided practice and question and answer methods in hybrid learning can contribute to improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the application of guided practice and question and answer methods was able to make a positive contribution to students' understanding of mathematical concepts, by involving active participation of all students in the learning process. As a recommendation, teachers need to continue to evaluate and develop this method in order to achieve more optimal results in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to describe students' thinking skills in solving problems on algebra material by class VII students of SMP Muhammadiyah Kota Bima through indicators of analysis, evaluate and create based on the introduction of similar problem structures when students are involved in the investigative process, such as; find patterns, generalize formulas using algebraic symbols and apply formulas to solve problems. The data collection technique was carried out using a question test on 28 students. While the data analysis technique is to reduce and present data and draw conclusions. The results showed that there were 9 high-ability students who met the indicators of analysis, evaluate and create, 15 students who had moderate problem-solving abilities by fulfilling the analysis indicators on differentiating and organizing and did not fulfill the analysis indicators on attributing. Whereas 4 students with low abilities did not meet the analysis indicators on attributing, evaluating on checking and critiquing and creating on generating, planning, and producing, because they only focused on questions and were unable to create new problems, but imitated previous test questions

Abstract

The development of students' mathematical knowledge can be carried out through meaningful integration of mathematics education and nggusuwaru character values ​​to grow students' abilities, develop cultural values ​​with nggusuwaru characters according to the current context and use a basis for mathematical creative thinking skills. The aim of this research is how effective the Realistic Learning Approach with the Nggusuwaru Character is on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Students at SDN Inpres Kalo Pai. This type of research is quasi/quasi-experimental research, the sampling technique in this research is Porposive Sampling by considering class VI students at SDN Inpres. If there is only 1 (one) class of 30 people. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that the average value is 70.59 in the high category, the normality test results are 0.200 - 0.05, with a normal distribution, the homogeneity test results show that a value of 0.451 > 0.05 is obtained, so the two variants are the same, next The results of hypothesis testing show that tcount > ttable (3.285 > 2.048), with the criteria that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is effectiveness of a realistic learning approach with the nggusuwaru character on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SDN Inpres Kalo Pai.

Abstract

Ethnomatsains learning is a learning innovation that combines local culture with Math and Science materials. This study aims to analyze the social functions and concepts of Mathematics and Science in improving edu-tourism in the Mbaru Niang Traditional House, Wae Rebo community. The method used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, with the Wae Rebo community as the research subject and Mbaru Niang Traditional House as the research object. Data was collected through interviews, documentation, and literature study. Through this research, it was found that there are many Math and Science concepts associated with the Mbaru Niang Traditional House in terms of the house and the surrounding environment. The main social function of the Mbaru Niang Customary House is the difference in status between the original customary house at the top and the houses below it owned by the Wae Rebo community. Although they do not live together, cooperation is maintained. This research proves that Ethnomatsains can contribute to improving edu-tourism and enriching learning by collaborating local culture with Math and Science lessons.

Abstract

This research aims to develop worksheets using the Pamona culture-based PBL model to increase student activity. This development research was carried out in class The aim of this research is to produce and validate the feasibility of student worksheets through problem based learning on SPLTV material at SMA Negeri Harmoni. The data analysis technique used is student worksheet development data as well as feasibility data and student assessment responses. The results of this research show that the Pamona Culture-based worksheet on SPLTV material is viewed from the media aspect in the "Fine" category, the material aspect in the "Fine" category, the results of small group trials obtained a percentage of 33% in the "Very Feasible" category and 67% in others. in the "Feasible" category as well as large group trials, a percentage of 19% was obtained in the "Very Eligible" category and another 81% in the "Appropriate" category as teaching materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum adanya modul pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang pernah dikembangkan pada sekolah dasar kelas V di salah satu sekolah dasar negeri di Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis PBL pada materi pecahan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian pengembangan tipe 4-D terdiri dari define, design, development, dan disseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validitas dan praktikalitas. Pada proses validasi modul divalidasi oleh dosen. Pada proses praktikalitas, modul diujicobakan oleh satu orang guru dan 26 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pengembangan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis PBL pada materi pecahan siswa kelas V dinyatakan termasuk kriteria sangat valid dengan persentase rata-rata validitas 90,85% dan memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis dengan persentase rata-rata praktikalitas 93,58%. Lebih lanjut berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi pecahan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dan sangat praktis digunakan sebagai sumber belajar pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD.

Abstract

This problem began with researchers' curiosity regarding the level of understanding of mathematics learning among mentally retarded students at SLB Marganingsih in terms of neuroscience. The aim of this research is to find out how mentally retarded students at SLB Marganingsih use a neuroscience approach. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative research method. Qualitative research methods will be used in this research to understand the experiences, perceptions, and understanding of SLB students in depth. This research was carried out at SLB Marganingsih, with the research subjects being six students in a class with intellectual disabilities. The variable in this research is the level of understanding of students in classes with intellectual disabilities at SLB Marganingsih in learning mathematics. The results of observational research on six children (NM, WN, AN, AR, AL, and ST), taking into account seven neuroscientific aspect factors, showed significant differences. The processing of mathematical information is different for each child, such as good mathematical understanding in NM, difficulty applying it in WN, and the need for a cheerful approach in AN. Brain limitations also play a role, such as limited memory in the left brain of WN, passive tendencies and difficulty adapting in AR, and childish characteristics in ST. Parental and teacher assistance, a learning environment, and various interactive learning methods are essential. Types of brain plasticity that continue to develop, as well as different IQ groups

Abstract

Mathematical literacy merupakan kemampuan seorang individu dalam mengidentifikasi dan memahai suatu permasalahan yang melibatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan spesifik terkait matematika seperti penalaran, analisis, serta memahami konsep matematika dalam kehidupan nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh mathematical literacy terhadap peningkatan critical thinking. Metode yang digunakan yaitu literature review dengan kata kunci “mathematical literacy dan critical thinking” menggunakan 10 jurnal berbahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris yang terbit di tahun 2019-2023 dari Google Scholar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian literature review dari 10 jurnal terbaru yang sesuai dari Google Scholar dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh mathematical literacy terhadap critical thinking. Mathematical literacy meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis setiap individu dalam menganalisis suatu permasalahan, cara mengambil keputusan, termasuk mempertahankan keyakinan dan kepercayaan berdasarkan atas pemikiran-pemikiran yang logis atau rasional. Selain itu, media-media yang relevan dan implementatif juga perlu dilibatkan dalam mendukung implementasi literasi matematika, seperti halnya bahan ajar, tugas, dan lain sebagainya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa mathematical literacy berpengaruh terhadap critical thinking
