Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of return on assets, market sentiment, and competitor performance on share prices in banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2018-2023 period. The method used in this research is quantitative with a verification approach. The research sample consisted of 5 banking companies with a research period of 6 years, selected using a purposive sampling technique, so that the total amount of data studied was 30 data. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to determine the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable, either partially or simultaneously. The results of data analysis show that, both partially and simultaneously, return on assets, market sentiment and competitor performance influence share prices.

Abstract

This research aims to describe purchasing decisions, brand image, and brand awareness and analyze the influence of brand image and brand awareness on the purchasing decisions of Vaseline body lotion users at the TikTok Shop. The research uses quantitative methods with descriptive and verification approaches. Samples were taken through purposive sampling involving 100 Vaseline body lotion users at the TikTok Shop, and data was collected through a questionnaire. Data analysis includes multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, and coefficient of determination. Descriptive analysis shows a purchasing decision score of 3,353 (very good), brand image 2,445 (good), and brand awareness 2,678 (very good). The research results show that brand image influences purchasing decisions with a correlation of 0.825 and brand awareness with a correlation of 0.813. Simultaneously, brand image and brand awareness influence purchasing decision with a simultaneous correlation of 0.935 and an influence contribution of 87.4%.

Abstract

An essential strategic effort to improve community welfare and the productivity of the fishing industry is to optimize the development of fish farmer businesses in Ciparay, Bandung Regency, West Java, which has a lot of potential for cultivating freshwater fish. Fish farmers in this area, however, still face several problems. These include lack of access to advanced technology, knowledge about managing a business, and market limitations. This research aims to find and create the most effective strategy for building a fish farming business in Ciparay. This research uses SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and Business Model Canvas to find internal and external elements influencing the fish farming business. Apart from field observations and in-depth interviews with fish farmers, data was collected through relevant literature studies. The results of the analysis show that traditional knowledge and extensive experience in fish cultivation are the main strengths of Ciparay fish farmers. In contrast, the main weakness is the difficulty of obtaining technology and capital. The ever-increasing market demand for fresh fish and government support through various aid programs are opportunities that can be exploited. However, there are threats such as climate change and competition with fish products from other countries. The results show that there are several methods that Ciparay fish farmers can use to maximize their business growth. First, increasing product diversification and innovation in fish processing can open up new market opportunities and increase product-added value. Second, increasing access to modern technology through training and technical assistance can help improve product quality and productivity. Third, forming farmer groups or cooperatives can strengthen farmers' bargaining positions and facilitate their access to capital and wider markets. Farmers can gain greater access to markets and capital by implementing stratification strategies

Abstract

This research was an explanatory study with a quantitative approach, using variables of social media marketing, product innovation, and purchasing decisions. This study used observation and questionnaire data collection techniques. With a purposive sampling technique, 100 respondents were obtained as consumers and followers of the @jahembahjayus Instagram account. The data analysis methods employed in this study included multiple linear regression and hypothesis testing. The results indicated that social media marketing and product innovation positively and significantly impacted purchasing decisions.

Abstract

PT Matahari Department Store ranked first in the retail business in Indonesia in 2023. However, based on a pre-research study conducted by researchers on 20 employees of PT Matahari Department Store Festival Citylink Branch, it was found that there was a gap phenomenon in the company related to employee compensation, motivation, and work discipline. So, this research aims to analyze the influence of compensation, work motivation, and work discipline on performance. This research involved a sample of 100 employees. This research found that compensation partially impacts employee performance, but work motivation and discipline do not. The result also found that compensation, work motivation, and work discipline significantly impact employee performance

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a form of entrepreneurial activity that plays a vital role in economic development. The contribution of MSMEs to GDP is substantial and increases employment opportunities so that it can reduce the unemployment rate. Penny Royaltea is an MSME engaged in the fashion sector. This study aims to determine the most appropriate SWOT analysis strategy for the Penny Royaltea distro facing business competition. This purpose is to determine the SWOT analysis strategy of Penny Royaltea, to evaluate the MSME Penny Royaltea distro by analyzing Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats, and to determine the right business strategy for developing the MSME Penny Royaltea distro business in Bandung City. This article aims to determine the internal and external conditions of the business and formulate business development strategies, especially for Penny Royaltea. The results show several strategies that Penny Royaltea can apply, such as conducting product research and innovation, Maximizing the use of technology for online promotion, Emphasizing point of differentiation (PoD) and unique selling points, and providing attractive offline marketing and offers. The results of this study provide managerial implications for Penny Royaltea in developing its business

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and workability on employee performance and its impact on employee job satisfaction at UPTD Muara Komam Health Center. The background of this study is based on the importance of employee performance in improving the quality of health services, as well as various problems related to suboptimal work environments and workability conditions. This study integrates the variables of work environment, workability, performance, and job satisfaction in one analysis model to provide a more comprehensive picture of the factors that influence the performance of Puskesmas employees. The research sample consisted of 63 UPTD Muara Komam Health Center employees who were selected randomly. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis method used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results showed that work environment and workability significantly affected employee performance. Job satisfaction was proven to mediate the relationship between work environment and workability on employee performance. A conducive work environment and good work ability directly improve employee performance and high job satisfaction, further strengthening this relationship. This study provides an important contribution to the development of human resource management policies in the health sector, especially in efforts to improve the performance and job satisfaction of Puskesmas employees. The managerial implications of this study include the need for good work environment management, such as providing adequate facilities and creating harmonious working relationships, as well as improving employee work skills through ongoing training and development programs

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the business development strategies of tomato farmer groups in Bandung Regency using qualitative methods and a descriptive approach. Primary data was obtained through interviews with farmers, while secondary data came from academic journals and other sources. The SWOT analysis utilized IFE, EFE, IE, and TOWS matrices. Findings indicate that the tomato farming groups in Bandung Regency possess strengths in agricultural infrastructure, plant fertility, soil quality, farmer cooperation, and crop productivity, which can support business success. However, weaknesses include competition with imported products, limited technology and knowledge, fertilizer availability, capital constraints, and weather dependency. External opportunities such as increased agricultural technology adoption, high market demand, research institution support, and training programs can be leveraged to address threats like unstable market prices, climate change, plant diseases, and labor shortages. According to the IE Matrix, the sector is in Quadrant I, indicating internal solid strengths and the ability to capitalize on external opportunities. Recommended strategies include developing and expanding, adopting new technologies, enhancing farmer cooperation, and product diversification to meet growing market demand. Based on the TOWS analysis, the strategies include SO, which leverages internal strengths to seize external opportunities; WO, which uses external opportunities to overcome internal weaknesses; ST, which utilizes internal strengths to counter external threats; and WT, which focuses on mitigating internal weaknesses to reduce the impact of external threats. In conclusion, the tomato farming groups in Bandung Regency have significant potential for success by leveraging internal strengths and market opportunities, though they must address internal weaknesses and external threats.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of social media, influencers, and visual content on purchasing decisions for "Kahf" skincare products on TikTok. The way people communicate, exchange knowledge, and shop has evolved in the modern digital era due to advances in information and communication technology. This study highlights the importance of social media in influencing consumer behavior, primarily through the TikTok platform which has a wide and diverse user base. A pre-survey was conducted on 30 respondents to measure the engagement and impact of TikTok visual content and influencers on purchasing decisions. The results show that although the "Kahf" product has used social media as a means of promotion, the level of purchasing decisions is still low. We anticipate that this study will be a foundation for future research on marketing skincare products through social media and provide substantial theoretical and practical contributions to digital marketing and consumer behavior

Abstract

This study aims to describe client satisfaction, price, and service quality and analyze the effect of price and service quality on client satisfaction at PT Bina Nusa Teknik. Using quantitative methods with descriptive and verification approaches, samples were taken through total sampling involving 35 PT Bina Nusa Teknik clients, with data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis includes multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, and determination coefficient. Descriptive analysis shows a client satisfaction score of 1,188 (moderate), price of 825 (high), and service quality of 1,302 (high). The study's results revealed that price affects client satisfaction with a correlation of 0.808, and service quality affects client satisfaction with a correlation of 0.842. Simultaneously, price and service quality affect client satisfaction with a simultaneous correlation of 0.912 and a contribution of influence of 83.2%.
