This editing process aims to ensure the accuracy of the content of the article as well as guarantee the accuracy of information as expected by the reader. Abstract

The implementation of a construction project is highly dependent on the availability of labor which is the main driving force in the planning stage until the realization of the project. Without labor, it is impossible to achieve the goals of the project itself. The workability of the workforce is usually called productivity. One thing closely related to labor productivity is the cost of project implementation. The higher the productivity, the smaller the possibility of excess/inflation of project implementation costs, and vice versa. Based on this, further research is needed to determine the factors influencing labor productivity in implementing small-scale construction projects in Bali. Problem-solving and data analysis in this study used the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the study showed that the most influential factors in labor productivity in project implementation were labor skills in carrying out work in the field (14.5%), equipment used during work (12.8%), the physical condition of workers (11.4%), job and work instructions given by superiors (11.3%), time schedule or work implementation time (10.5%), coordination between workers (10.2%), worker discipline during work or project implementation (10.1%), available materials (9.9%), and the last was the workspace or space available in carrying  a job (9.4%).

Abstract

The implementation of the ISO-based Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Management System has become a critical demand in the industrial world to ensure safety, occupational health, security, and environmental protection in the workplace. At PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Terminal Petikemas Bitung, as one of the main ports in Eastern Indonesia, the ISO-based HSSE Management System is crucial in addressing high work risks, especially with the intensive use of heavy equipment, a large workforce, and high material volume. This research aims to assess the implementation of the ISO-based Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Management System at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Terminal Petikemas Bitung. The study was conducted using a survey method through questionnaires and interviews, with the results processed into frequency distribution tables. The research concluded that the assessment of the ISO-based HSSE Management System implementation at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Terminal Petikemas Bitung was categorized as “good” in Leadership and Worker Participation, “good” in Planning, “good” in Support and Operation, “good” in Performance Evaluation, and “good” in Continual Improvement.

Abstract

This research aims to compare runoff discharge using the rational method and the Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) modeling in a case study of drainage on Parangtritis Road KM 3.5-4.5, which consists of 11 sub catchments. The total runoff discharge for the rational method with a return period of 2 years is 0.90 m³/s, for 5 years is 1.22 m³/s, and for 10 years is 1.60 m³/s, and from the SWMM modeling, a return period of 2 years is 1.28 m³/s, for 5 years is 1.79 m³/s, and for 10 years is 2.44 m³/s. The runoff coefficient from the SWMM modeling is greater than the runoff coefficient from the rational method, and the runoff discharge from the SWMM modeling is higher than that from the rational method. This is caused by the runoff coefficient of the rational method, which assumes a waterproof layer in the form of closed multi-unit housing and the percentage of imperviousness in each watershed area. After correction, the results of runoff calculations using the rational method will be the same as the runoff calculations from SWMM modeling if the runoff coefficient of the rational method is equal to that of the SWMM modeling.

Abstract

Durability is one of characteristics  to determine the level of asphalt mixture resistance in  climate  changes. This study compare  resistance of AC-WC type asphalt mixtures with the use of substitute materials of candlenut shell ash and damar resin. The Firts make composition,  test specimens, weighing and soakings for 30 minutes in water at  temperature 60°C. The substitution levels of damar resin used are 2%,4%, and 6% of  total weight of asphalt, while candlenut shell ash is 10% of the total weight of filler in the mixture. After obtaining the OAC,  next make test specimens on the OAC of each type of mixture, followed by a Marshall test after being soaked for 30 minutes and 24 hours. The durability value is the result of dividing the stability value of the test specimen soaked for 24 hours by the test specimen soaked for 30 minutes. The calculation results obtained show that the use of candlenut shell ash and damar resin can increase the durability of the asphalt mixture. The highest durability was obtained at a substitution rate of 6% damar resin and 10% candlenut shell ash,117.65%,  the lowest durability was obtained in a conventional asphalt mixture, which is 94.10%.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries with abundant timber resources The huge demand for timber has an impact on the availability of timber which is decreasing every year due to large-scale exploitation. So it is necessary to carry out innovations or wood management technology to overcome these problems, one of the technologies that can be used is laminated wood. In this study, a test of bending strength will be carried out on wood without lamination process and wood with a cross-lamination process using epoxy. This test was carried out to see the effect of the use of cross lamination on wood, and the type of wood used was Palaka wood. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the bending strength value of palaka wood without lamination is 28.60 MPa, while palaka wood cross-laminated with epoxy adhesive has a bending strength value of 16.06 MPa. The amount of decrease in bending strength that occurs after cross-laminating with epoxy is 43.84% for palaka wood without lamination process.

Abstract

Sertifikat Laik Fungsi atau SLF adalah sertifikat yang diterbitkan oleh Pemerintah Daerah, sesuai dengan Permen PU No. 27/PRT/M/2018 tentang “Sertifikat Laik Fungsi Bangunan Gedung”. Masa berlaku SLF bangunan gedung ditetapkan dalam jangka waktu 5 (lima) tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui parameter apa saja yang berpengaruh dalam Penerbitan Sertifikat Laik Fungsi Bangunan Gedung di Kota Surabaya. Metode penelitian adalah menggunakan survei dengan alat ukur kuisioner, dengan total responden sebanyak 50 orang. Profesi responden bervariasi, yaitu: engineer, legal/hukum, dan administrasi. Pengolahan data menggunakan uji validasi, uji reliabilitas, uji asumi klasik (Uji: normalitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas), persamaan regresi linier berganda, serta uji hipotesis (uji koefisien determinasi, uji F dan uji t). Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan variabel kemudahan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pelayanan SLF (yakni sig. 0,584 > 0,05). Variabel kelengkapan administrasi juga tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pelayanan SLF (sig. 0,49 > 0,05). Variabel kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh terhadap pelayanan SLF, dimana sig. 0,000 < 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel kepuasan pelanggan cukup berpengaruh dalam proses penerbitan Sertifikat Laik Fungsi bangunan gedung di kota Surabaya.

Abstract

Jalan Jawa merupakan pusat bisnis yang menyebabkan volume lalu lintas tinggi selama jam sibuk. Analisis kinerja jalan menunjukkan bahwa pada pagi hari, tingkat pelayanan Jalan Jawa masih tergolong C dengan rasio V/C sebesar 0,69, yang menunjukkan kondisi normal. Namun, pada jam sibuk siang, sore, dan malam, rasio V/C melebihi 1, sehingga tingkat pelayanan turun ke kategori F, menandakan kemacetan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh hambatan samping di Jalan Jawa Jember dan menawarkan solusi untuk masalah lalu lintas yang muncul. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pedoman dari Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (1997), yang meliputi perhitungan hambatan samping dan kapasitas jalan. Survei langsung di lapangan dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data. Dari hasil analisis, arus lalu lintas puncak rata-rata selama 3 hari pengamatan mencapai 3630,8 smp/jam, dengan hambatan samping sebesar 670 smp/jam dan kapasitas jalan 2378 smp/jam. Derajat kejenuhan rata-rata tercatat 1,52 smp/jam. Meskipun Jalan Jawa masih dalam kondisi stabil, kecepatan perjalanan dan kebebasan bergerak sudah dipengaruhi oleh volume lalu lintas yang tinggi, sehingga pengemudi tidak lagi bebas memilih kecepatan, dengan tingkat pelayanan tergolong C.

Abstract

Plastic waste, especially Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), is becoming a environmental problem due to the increasing use of plastic in daily life. Solution to reduce the negative impact of plastic waste is utilize  in the construction industry, such as in the manufacture of paving blocks. Research intends to evaluate the utilization of PET plastic waste in manufacture of concrete bricks, with a focus on testing compressive strength and water absorption capacity. The method used follows the standard of SNI 03-0691-1996, with three variations of the mixture between sand and PET plastic: 30% sand: 70% plastic, 40% sand: 60% plastic, and 50% sand: 50% plastic. Paving blocks made based on the predetermined mix ratio, and tested for compressive strength and water absorption. Data obtained were analyzed to determine the effectiveness of using PET plastic as a substitute material in paving blocks. Results showed that a mixture with a ratio of 50% sand: 50% plastic produced the highest compressive strength value of 12.41MPa. Water absorption also evaluated, showing adequate performance for paving block applications. Results of this research are useful for the construction industry as alternative material that is more environmentally friendly, to contributing  manage plastic waste in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Surabaya Provinsi terbesar kedua di Indonesia setelah Kota Jakarta. Dengan kondisi kota tersebut, dapat menimbulkan mobilitas pergerakan kendaraan yang tinggi. Jalan adalah salah satu prasarana perhubungan darat yang mempunyai peranan penting bagi pertumbuhan perekonomian, sosial budaya, pengembangan wilayah pariwisata, dan pertahanan keamanan untuk menunjang pembangunan nasional sebagaimana tercantum dalam Undang-Undang No.38 Tahun 2004 tentang Jalan. Permasalahan pada ruas jalan Panjang Jiwo Kota Surabaya ialah banyaknya kendaraan yang melintasi ruas jalan tersebut sehingga menimbulkan penurunan kinerja pelayanan ruas jalan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui beban lalu lintas yang melintasi ruas jalan Panjang Jiwo sehingga dapat menentukan tebal lapis perkerasan yang tepat. Untuk metode yang digunakan yaitu, Metode MDPJ2017 yang dilengkapi dengan metode observasi lapangan, metode literatur dan metode dokumentasi. Hasil dari analisa dan perhitungan yang dilakukan menghasilkan: banyaknya kendaraan berat yang melintasi ruas Jalan Panjang Jiwo. Setelah dilakukannya perhitungan CESA 4 dan CESA 5, menghasilkan 2,8E+07, dan 3,8E+07, serta nilai CBR di setiap 200 meter lokasi penelitian menghasilkan CBR = 6,09 %. Peneliti juga melakukan pengujian uji lendutan sebelum overlay,dengan hasil Db = 1,06. Dari hasil perhitungan CESA, nilai CBR, nilai lendutan serta umur rencana didapatkan desain tebal lapis perkerasan (Overlay) AC- WC dengan tebal 6 cm.

Abstract

LDPE plastic waste a common type of plastic waste found in Sorong, SouthwestPapua Province. The primary cause is the widespread use of LDPE as a packaging material for everyday products. The use of LDPE plastic waste an additive in Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) offers several benefits, such as improving asphalt concrete quality, speeding up the production process, and minimizing environmental impact. This study aims to identify the characteristics of AC-WC mixtures with and without the addition of LDPE plastic waste based on Marshall Standard parameters. The research used a laboratory experimental method, which included several stages such as testing the physical properties of aggregate and asphalt, determining the optimum asphalt content, and testing to measure Marshall parameters by adding LDPE plastic at 2.5%, 5%, and 7% of asphalt weight. The results showed that the optimum bitument content (OBC) for the AC-WC mixture is 6.5%. Based on the Marshall test focused on mechanical properties, the addition of 5% LDPE plastic to the AC-WC mixture yielded the highest stability value of 1824.54 kg. As for volumetric properties, the addition of LDPE plastic increased the VIM and VMA values. Conclusion, adding LDPE plastic waste can enhance the performance of the AC-WC mixture.
