Abstract

This community service focuses on the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) “Tempe Endul” in Paya Gambar Village, Deli Serdang Regency. Previously, these MSMEs faced barriers to promotion and sales because they were not registered on Google My Business and did not use digital technology. The purpose of the service is to increase the visibility of MSMEs by registering them on Google My Business and provide support in implementing digital marketing strategies. Through mentoring, field observations and interviews, “Tempe Endul” MSMEs can understand the importance of digital marketing. Loyalty helps register these MSMEs on Google My Business and optimize their business profile with contact information, address, product photos, and customer reviews. As a result, this business is now shown on Google Maps with a clear address, opening hours and full contact details. Using Google My Business offers significant benefits. Customers can easily find and order Endul tempeh, and this MSME can enhance its positive image and revenue. The use of digital technology enables MSMEs to compete in the industry 4.0 era and expand their market reach. This service illustrates the importance of adopting digital technology to increase MSME competitiveness, overcome advertising limitations and boost the local economy. The result of this service has been increased visibility and performance of “Tempe Endul” MSMEs through the implementation of Google My Business. With the help of digital technology, MSMEs can optimize marketing activities, reach more customers, and increase revenue. This move reflects the strategic potential of MSMEs in supporting the local economy and overcoming obstacles encountered in the current era of digitalization.

Abstract

This service aims to enhance the understanding and use of simple technologies by the villagers of Lok Baintan Luar, especially in the design of simple electric sprayers. The implementation approach adopted included a series of workshops and training aimed at the farming community of Lok Baintan Luar village. This dedication has created a significant positive impact. First, there is an increase in the agricultural community's enthusiasm for learning this simple technology. Workshop and training participants were actively engaged in the learning process, showing a keen interest in learning, and implementing this simple electrospray technology in their agricultural practices. Second, this commitment also creates strong momentum within the agricultural community to adopt this simple technology into their daily operations. This reflects their deep desire to increase farm efficiency and productivity using accessible technology. As a result, this service not only succeeds in increasing people's understanding of a simple technology but also encourages them to adopt this technology as a valuable tool in their agricultural practices, has a positive impact on local agricultural development.

Abstract

The distribution of disadvantaged groups in need of health services is increasing every year. The government's BPJS program cannot be fully followed by the marginalized. Therefore, we need NGOs that care about the health of marginalized people, like the LKC Dompet Dhuafa service. Every month, hundreds of medical services are successfully provided by Dompet Dhuafa, but medical data management is not done optimally. The purpose of this activity is to support health data management of marginalized people in areas under the leadership of Dhuafa Wallet as an innovation to promote teamwork in the field. Methods to support this activity include 1) Improve knowledge of data management and medical record keeping, and 2) Create a health information system for disadvantaged groups. The target of this activity is 8 volunteers. Based on the evaluation results, volunteers' knowledge increased from an average score of 60 to 80. It is hoped that this health data management support will fill the gap and improve health services for disadvantaged groups.

Abstract

Good administrative governance in organizations, especially in educational institutions, is crucial to support data-driven governance and management of educational records. Currently, archive management in schools is not yet optimal, and the capacity to support documents for school accountability is still low. Key issues include difficulty retrieving documents, loss of documents, and lack of consistency in the use of filing systems. One of the main causes of this problem is the incompetence of archivists. Therefore, community service activities are carried out to enhance the knowledge and skills of school archivists at private vocational schools in Kendal Regency. This activity includes training, documentation and archival digitization practices based on national education standards. The activity targets 50 school archivists in the area, using methods such as lecture, question and answer, discussion, and practice. The assessment is carried out based on improving knowledge and skills. The results of this activity include articles in national magazines, media reports and video clips about this activity.

Abstract

This program has a strong aim to improve the quality of education in Bireuen Regency by focusing on implementing a student-centered approach and the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. Through a series of workshops and intensive collaboration, the program has achieved significant results. The participants, consisting of teachers, supervisors, and principals, have experienced a deeper understanding of the student-centered approach, relevant learning strategies, and the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. The impact can be seen in the development of learning materials that are more suited to students' interests and needs, the creation of an inclusive learning environment, and strict monitoring and evaluation of program implementation. Apart from that, this program also makes a significant contribution in forming more competent educational leaders through the 3rd Generation Driving School Program. The target community for this program involves various stakeholders, including teachers, teaching staff, school principals, supervisors, and other parties. related. With a sharp focus on improving the quality of education, this program aims to have a broad and sustainable positive impact on the world of education in Bireuen Regency. Abstract

There is a serious problem of stunting in Indonesia, specifically stunted growth due to malnutrition during a child's growth period. This condition not only affects physical health but also affects cognitive, emotional, and mental aspects. Therefore, specific measures are needed to overcome this problem. With the aim of overcoming developmental delays, this service explores the potential of the TOR BISCUIT innovation as a Breast Milk Supplement (MP-ASI) for stunted children aged 12-18 months. The service uses a case study approach and combines quantitative and qualitative methods. The service's sample included 77 stunted children who received cookies, and the military also conducted face-to-face interviews with parents in the target service area, specifically the Belawan region. This undertaking not only aims to explore the effectiveness of TOR BISCUIT Innovation as MP-ASI but also aims to provide concrete and effective solutions to tackle the problem of stunting in Indonesia. By applying a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, it is hoped that this service can provide a comprehensive picture of the impact of providing these biscuits on growth and development of stunted children. It is hoped that the results of this service can provide a solid basis for governments, health organizations and communities to implement effective and sustainable interventions to reduce stunting rates. in Indonesia. Abstract

The implementation of a group discussion forum (FGD) carried out in the context of preparing materials on relationships and sex education (RSE) is very important due to the limitations of the implementation group in evaluating the content. content of module documentation. The participation of several experts such as psychologists, doctors, midwives, speakers and community members are helpful in providing input for material adjustment. This FGD activity was carried out on August 30, 2023 with the implementation team BEM-FKIP Muhammadiyah University Ponorogo. The steps of the FGD activity in this activity are; (1) Prepare modules to be used in FGD, (2) Coordinate implementation of FGD activities, (3) Invite experts with CSR skills, (4) Conduct FGD and (5) Evaluate evaluate the implementation of FGD and improve learning materials. The conclusion of this activity is that multi-stakeholder participation and collaboration are important things that the team must do during the document preparation process to have appropriate and quality module document content.

Abstract

Radiation can originate from various natural and artificial sources. Ionizing radiation can impact individual health because ionization events can result in DNA damage, cell death, and harm to tissues and organs. The elderly is one of the vulnerable groups that should receive more attention regarding their health conditions. Aging is a natural phase in the human life cycle that significantly affects various aspects of life, including health and quality of life. The quality of life in the elderly can be influenced by their well-being, emotions, physical health, occupation, cognitive abilities, and social life. In connection with the radiation phenomenon that can have serious implications for the health and quality of life of individuals, including the more vulnerable elderly population, adequate knowledge about safe radiation utilization and a detailed understanding of radiation's effects and prevention become essential in maintaining their health and improving their quality of life. Community outreach activities were conducted in the form of educational seminars with the aim of increasing the elderly community's literacy regarding the effects and utilization of radiation in the Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, over a duration of one day. It is worth noting that the Trawas District, Mojokerto Regency, has experienced an increase in its elderly population over the past few years. The results of this community outreach program have shown a positive overall progress, with an increase in participants' self-confidence in understanding the provided material and an improvement in their knowledge regarding the utilization and prevention of radiation effects. This improvement is demonstrated by the significant difference between pre-test scores (mean value: 22.82) and post-test scores (mean value: 80.82), as assessed through a statistically significant paired T-test (t value: 35,537 with p<0.001) and Wilcoxon signed-rank test (p<0.001).

Post-pandemic, the implementation of IT makes learning more creative, innovative, and interactive. The presence of interaction and collaboration between students through ICT-based learning means is important for them to become enthusiastically engaged in learning. With the development of technology, educators must have knowledge and skills in using IT to support learning in the smart society era. However, based on the basic research conducted by one of the students of the SMA Negeri 8 Semarang department, the department found that there is still no optimal way to use ICT as a means of learning due to the time it takes to prepare materials. learning is limited. On the other hand, thanks to Quizizz, preparing to use it does not take much time because Quizizz offers many different features to help teachers learn more easily. Quizizz is a game-based educational app that features fun and free games that entertain you during the learning process. Quizizz training aims to ensure that teachers have equal opportunities to maximize learning using ICT-based media, so that Quizizz can be a solution embedded in the learning media creation framework. IT-based learning takes a lot of time to create an accessible, student-centered environment. The classroom atmosphere in the development of critical thinking (critical thinking), cooperation (collaboration), communication (communication) and creativity (creativity) are called the 4Cs.
