Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the meaning and function of reduplication in the novel Redup Matahari di Monokerto. The research method we use is qualitative method with data collection techniques and reading techniques. In the results of the study we will find the meaning of reduplication from the novel Redup Matahari di Monokerto such as referring to phenomena, emphasizing the intensity of the statement, emphasizing that an action occurs repeatedly, to express intense curiosity emphasizing giving sudden nuances, to convey the meaning that there are many birds, to show the diversity of variations in facial appearance, to show specialty in choice to show plurality in a group, to show the intensity / continuity of an action / state or to give nuance to the meaning of words, to emphasize the presence of more than one shelf, to express a very high or intense level of admiration, to show intense concern, to refer to various clues or indications, to show the speed of an action or movement, to imply a less clear picture, to show affirmation or emphasis of a negative situation, to show more than one book, to refer to various clues or indications, to show affirmation or emphasis of a negative situation, to show a large number in an action. Abstract

The issue raised in this study is the analysis of slang (prokem) language usage among teenagers and its impact on the sustainability of the Indonesian language. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data sources consisting of everyday teenage speech, which is presumed to contain slang vocabulary. Data collection techniques include observation, recording, and passive listening. Data analysis is conducted through data reduction techniques. The results of the study show that the use of slang among teenagers has a negative impact on the sustainability of the Indonesian language as a national identity. The predominant use of slang among teenagers affects their understanding of the Indonesian language, especially in formal contexts that demand proper language use. The younger generation, expected to be the pillars of the nation's progress, is more familiar with slang, making them less capable of positioning themselves in situations that require the correct use of the Indonesian language.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Cinta Laura's brand ambassador on Fore Coffee's brand image on Instagram, especially in the context of the rapidly growing coffee industry in Indonesia. As an agrarian country with a large population of coffee farmers, Indonesia faces intense competition in the coffee industry, forcing companies to implement effective marketing strategies. Involving brand ambassadors has become one of the commonly used strategies to strengthen brand image. In this study, simple random sampling techniques were used to ensure fair representation of the population of @fore.coffee's Instagram followers, which totaled 204k. A survey of 100 followers showed that Cinta Laura plays a key role in building Fore Coffee's positive image and has a strong influence through social media. The analysis results show that Cinta Laura's brand ambassador has a significant influence on Fore Coffee's brand image, with dimensions such as Visibility, Credibility, Attraction, and Power receiving high ratings. The t-test data shows a significant correlation between brand image and brand ambassador, with the correlation coefficient R confirming a very strong relationship. A total of 78.9% of brand image variables are influenced by brand Ambassadors, confirming Cinta Laura's vital role in increasing consumers' positive perceptions of Fore Coffee.

Abstract

The movie Dirty Vote highlights the sensitive issue of fraud and abuse of power in the context of elections. The influence of its content was seen through the diverse opinions that developed on Twitter, with some users expressing disappointment with the portrayal of fraud revealed in the movie, while others appreciated the transparency efforts in exposing the alleged abuse of power. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the Dirty Vote movie influenced the opinions of candidate voters. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were Twitter users who watched the Dirty Vote movie as many as 276,965 people and a sample of 100 respondents with the sampling technique used was a non-probability sampling technique, namely accidental sampling. The results of the correlation test using SPSS show that Media Exposure has a very strong effect on Public Opinion with a correlation value of 0.944 with a coefficient of determination of 0.944 indicating that 94.4% of the Public Opinion variable is influenced by Media Exposure, while the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study analyzes the challenges faced by traditional radio amidst the increasing popularity of podcasts in the digital era. A literature review method is employed to examine changes in consumer preferences regarding audio content consumption and their impact on the existence of traditional radio. The study finds that the flexibility and customization of podcast content, diversity and specialization of topics, high interactivity, and more adaptive monetization models are key factors attracting listeners from traditional radio to podcasts. The research also identifies that traditional radio needs to adopt more flexible digital strategies focusing on content diversification and increased listener engagement. Understanding these trends and dynamics is expected to help the radio industry find new ways to thrive and remain competitive in a constantly evolving media landscape. The findings of this study are expected to provide in-depth insights into how traditional radio can leverage digital technology to maintain relevance and meet the needs of audiences in the future

Abstract

Malangposcomedia sebagai media terkonvergensi menyajikan informasi melalui berbagai platform miliknya seperti website, mobile aplikasi dan media sosial. Hal tersebut dilakukan tidak hanya akibat dari era digitalisasi namun juga dengan tujuan agar mudah menjangkau target khalayak yang lebih beragam. Berdasarkan perumusan latar belakang, peneliti ingin mengkaji tentang bagaimana multiplatform media membingkai isu tentang kasus bunuh diri perempuan pada media online dan Instagram milik Malangposcomedia. Konsep teori konstruksionis digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana media yang terkonvergensi menunjukkan realitas dalam menyampaikan informasi. Selain itu, transmisi pada multiplatform distribution menjelaskan bahwa berita dapat diakses oleh beragam audiens dengan preferensi media yang berbeda. Teknik analisa data oleh Zhongdang & Kosicki digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian. Unsur Skrip, Sintaksis, Retoris, dan Tematik sebagai cara dalam menganalisa proses wartawan mengungkap dan menyusun peristiwa. Ideologi tentang representasi perempuan dalam pemberitaan media ini tidak begitu kuat ditonjolkan. Namun, hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa media online malangposcomedia.id dalam menyebarkan berita jauh lebih lengkap dan informatif dibanding media sosial Instagram.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out and understanding how the representation of masculinity is visualized by the main character in the live action film Tokyo Revengers. In conducting the analysis, this research use Roland Barthes semiotic theory where the meaning process is divided into Denotation, Connotation and Myth which are associated with the concept of masculinity according to Janet Saltzman Chafetz which is divided into seven aspect. The research method used is Qualitative Descriptive by analyzing each scene that contains the masculine characteristics of the main character. The result obtained from this research show that the character Takemichi has seven concept of masculinity including: Aspect of male Physical Appearance, Male Fuctional, Male Sexual, Emotional, Intellectual, Male Interpersonal, and finally the Personal Character of man.

Abstract

The close use of social media in today's society allows all information to be easily disseminated, including disseminating positive information or education to a wide audience, as done by the Lyfe With Less community as a minimalist lifestyle community that utilizes Instagram social media as one of their campaign media. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Instagram social media @lyfewithless as a minimalist lifestyle community on the wise consumption attitude of followers. There are two variables in this study, namely social media variables with dimensions of context, communications, collaboration, and connections, and attitude variables with dimensions of cognitive components, affective components, and conative components. The theory used in this research is social judgment theory which explains how individuals have an assessment of the information or messages they get. This study used a survey method with data analysis techniques in the form of descriptive univariate, namely measuring the mean per variable, and bivariate, namely with simple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of the two variables tested. The results showed that there was a strong influence between Instagram social media @lyfewithless as a minimalist lifestyle community on followers' wise consumption attitudes.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi membuat media perusahaan harus menemukan cara baru untuk memproduksi dan mendistribusikan konten, termasuk cara menagih biaya untuk konten serta berkomunikasi dengan pelanggan. Menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini ingin menguraikan tentang bagaimana media Tempo dan Kumparan mengelola komunikasi dua arah dengan pelanggannya. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan Tempo rutin mengadakan interaksi di berbagai grup Telegram tentang berbagai topik hangat yang sedang dibicarakan publik. Topik itu dilempar ke publik via media sosial dalam bentuk kuis, thread maupun skema engagement lainnya. Pengikut akun media sosial Tempo yang tertarik dengan topik itu, bisa mengklik tautan ke laman membership untuk bergabung ke grup Telegram terkait dan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi. Dengan berlangganan paket sekitar Rp 100 ribu per bulan, pembaca bisa terlibat dalam diskusi video streaming, sesekali hadir langsung di rapat redaksi, dan diprioritaskan hadir dalam event utama Tempo. Kumparan juga punya komunitas pembaca yang dikenal dengan Teman Kumparan dan rutin berdiskusi melalui grup telegram. Member Teman Kumparan bisa ikut serta mengedukasi masyarakat dengan menjadi content creator. Kumparan juga meluncurkan Kumparan Derma untuk open donasi bagi orang yang profilnya diangkat oleh Kumparan, serta polling Kumparan untuk mengetahui minat publik dan bisa dijadikan argumentasi untuk mengambil keputusan.

Abstract

Pemilihan Presiden 2024 yang menjadi isu hangat di media dan menarik perhatian publik, bukan hanya soal memilih pemimpin, tetapi juga tentang bagaimana para calon presiden dikonstruksi sehingga memunculkan citra positif dan dipersepsikan oleh masyarakat. Perusahaan media memiliki peran besar dalam menciptakan bagaimana suatu peristiwa dinikmati dan dipahami oleh pembaca. Media kerap kali menciptakan framing dan citra terhadap orang atau peristiwa tertentu. Hal ini yang dilakukan oleh media Indonesia saat memberitakan ketiga calon presiden di acara "Bacapres Bicara Gagasan" Mata Najwa pada September 2023. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis framing model Pan & Kosicki, yang terdiri dari empat komponen: struktur sintaksis, skrip, tematik, dan retoris, serta konsep konstruksi citra model good news dan bad news, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana media di Indonesia membingkai ketiga calon presiden tersebut sekaligus mengkaji citra 3 Bacapres dalam frame yang dikembangkan dan yang dibangun oleh Media Indonesia. Selanjutnya, dilakukan pula analisis proses pembentukkan citra oleh Media Indonesia menggunakan 4 tahap. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan analisis 4 elemen analisis framing menunjukkan bahwa Media Indonesia, yang memiliki afiliasi politik dengan Anies Baswedan, cenderung menonjolkan Anies dengan framing dan citra yang positif dalam pemberitaan mereka, serta berada di tahap comprehensive proses pembentukkan citra. Sebaliknya, Prabowo Subianto dan Ganjar Pranowo di framing secara netral dan tidak menunjukkan citra apapun dan berada di tahap retention dalam proses pembentukkan citra.
