Abstract

This study will discuss the factors that influence the intrinsic motivation of lecturers in the process of functional promotion from Lecturer to Associate Lecturer in the State Christian Religious College (PTKKN) under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, namely the State Christian Institute (IAKN) Kupang. In addition, this study will also analyze the efficiency of the administrative procedures applied in the process, including the obstacles faced and efforts to improve them. The method used is a qualitative research method with a case study research type. The findings and analysis of the intrinsic motivation of lecturers at IAKN Kupang in applying for functional promotion from Lecturer to Associate Lecturer are driven by the need to achieve recognition and self-actualization as described in Maslow's theory. The lecturers' desire to develop academically, gain recognition for scientific performance, and contribute more broadly to the tridharma are the main driving forces. However, this motivation cannot always be implemented optimally due to obstacles in the efficiency of administrative procedures. Irregular flow, minimal mentoring, and lack of clarity of technical information lead to feelings of insecurity, confusion, and psychological exhaustion, which directly reduce the lecturers' intrinsic motivation. Low administrative efficiency not only impacts individual productivity but also has implications for the overall development of the institution. Therefore, the success of the lecturer promotion process is inextricably linked to the integration of the lecturer's intrinsic motivation and an efficient and supportive institutional administration system.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze collaborative governance practices in the management of sustainable local tourist destinations in Liman Beach, South Semau District. Sustainable tourism, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO, 2018), considers economic, social, and environmental impacts to meet the needs of tourists and host communities. The collaborative governance model developed by Ansell and Gash (2008) is a reference in evaluating the interaction between actors in building consensus and shared responsibility. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach to evaluate the relationship between stakeholders and institutions that support sustainable tourism management. The results of the analysis show that although initial interaction between actors has occurred, structured and inclusive collaborative practices have not been established due to government dominance, lack of formal recognition of local communities, and lack of inclusive institutions. This study concludes that strengthening customary institutions, involvement of the private sector, and empowering local communities through deliberative forums are key in creating sustainable and equitable tourism management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Organizational Justice and Organizational Commitment on Whistleblowing Intention, with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable among employees of PT Maybank Indonesia. A quantitative approach was used in this study, collecting data through an online questionnaire distributed to 45 respondents. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using the SmartPLS 4 application. The results indicate that perceived organizational justice significantly influences whistleblowing intention, but does not significantly influence job satisfaction. Conversely, organizational commitment significantly influences job satisfaction, but does not directly influence whistleblowing intention. Job satisfaction was shown to act as a partial mediator in the relationship between organizational commitment and whistleblowing intention, but did not mediate the effect of perceived organizational justice on whistleblowing intention. These findings provide important implications for organizations to consider aspects of job satisfaction and commitment in an effort to foster a healthy whistleblowing culture. This study also recommends the development of internal policies and a secure reporting system to increase employee participation in whistleblowing disclosures.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of location and product quality on customer loyalty at Toko Busana Ayu Cirebon, a Muslim fashion MSME. In a competitive business landscape, understanding the factors driving customer loyalty is crucial. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, 96 consumer respondents from Toko Busana Ayu in Cirebon were selected through purposive sampling. Primary data were collected via a Likert questionnaire, supported by secondary data. Data analysis involved validity, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and t- and F-tests. The results indicate that location and product quality, individually and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Partially, location (t=2.079; p=0.040) and product quality (t=9.528; p=0.000) significantly influenced loyalty. Simultaneously, both variables (F=78.080; p=0.000) were also significant. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.627 indicates that 62.7% of the variation in customer loyalty is explained by location and product quality. These findings emphasize the crucial role of strategic location and superior product quality in building customer loyalty among Muslim fashion MSMEs. This research contributes to the marketing and MSME literature, offering practical implications for business actors.

Abstract

This study aims to further examine the "Influence of Price, Facilities, and Service Quality on Parent Satisfaction" at MI Nurul Huda. The main issue addressed is the relationship between these three variables and the level of parent satisfaction. The background of this research is driven by parents' high expectations regarding educational quality and provided facilities, as well as the role of price, which is expected to align with service quality. The objectives are to analyze the individual impact of price, facilities, and service quality on customer satisfaction, as well as their combined (simultaneous) effect on overall parent satisfaction. A quantitative method with a survey approach was used, employing questionnaires distributed to parents of students from grades 1 to 6. The population consisted of all students at MI Nurul Huda, with a sample of 80 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data analysis involved multiple linear regression, and validity was tested using Spearman's Rank correlation. The results show that, in summary, neither price nor facilities significantly affect parent satisfaction, whereas service quality has a positive and significant impact. Additionally, the three variables together significantly influence the level of parent satisfaction. The conclusion is that service quality is the main factor affecting parent satisfaction. Although price and facilities do not have a significant effect individually, they contribute to overall satisfaction when combined.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of access to market information, entrepreneurial motivation, and entrepreneurial capability on the profit growth of women-owned MSMEs in Suka Jaya Village. The research is grounded in the reality that, despite the significant potential of women's MSMEs in rural economic development, they still face various structural and managerial barriers that can affect business performance, particularly in terms of profit improvement. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 130 women MSME actors, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression analysis, T-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that access to market information has a positive and significant effect on profit growth when tested partially. In contrast, entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial capability do not have a significant partial effect. However, when tested simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly influence profit growth. The Adjusted R² value of 0.839 implies that the model can explain 83.9% of the variation in profit growth, while the remaining 16.1% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings highlight the crucial role of access to market information in enhancing the profitability of women's MSMEs and emphasize the need for strategic interventions to improve entrepreneurial capacity based on local data.
