Abstract

The Effect of Tazkiyatun Nafs Counseling Techniques in Reducing Anxiety in the Elderly. Anxiety is a dominant problem experienced by the elderly which has a negative effect on the physical and psychological. One intervention that is considered appropriate to reduce anxiety is through counseling the tazkiyatun nafs technique. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the tazkiyatun nafs counseling technique in reducing the anxiety of the elderly. The approach used is an experiment with a pretest & pottest control group design. The population of this study was the elderly at the Tresna Werda Kasih Sayang Ibu Batusangkar Social Home, with a sample of 16 people taken at random. Collecting data using an anxiety scale, data analysis through independent t test. Research result; there is a difference in the increase in anxiety given the tazkiyatun nafs counseling intervention compared to the elderly who received information services. Tazkiyatun nafs counseling has a significant effect in reducing anxiety. It is recommended for nursing homes and professionals to be able to use the tazkiyatun nafs technique of counseling in dealing with elderly anxiety problems, as well as additional information on variations in counseling techniques. Keywords: Counseling, Tazkiyatun Nafs, Anxiety

Abstract

Relationship between Religious Obedience and Academic Anxiety of Al-Hadi Girikusumo Islamic Boarding School Students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between religious observance and academic anxiety of the students of Al-Hadi Girikusumo Islamic Boarding School. This type of research is a descriptive correlational quantitative research. The population in this study were 346 MTs (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) students and 149 MA students (the sample was 149 MTs (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) students and 66 MA (Madrasah Aliyah) students who had high, medium, and low levels of religious obedience and academic anxiety. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling. The data collection method used a religious obedience scale and academic anxiety scale. The validity test used the product moment formula and the reliability test used Cronbach alpha. The data analysis technique used was descriptive percentage data analysis and product correlation analysis. moment (pearson).The results of descriptive analysis show that the majority of the level of religious obedience of students are in the moderate category, namely (86.04%), then the academic anxiety level of the majority of students is in the medium category, which is equal to (75.3%).Furthermore, the results of the analysis correlation indicates that there is no relationship There is a very low correlation between religious obedience and academic anxiety in Al-Hadi Girikusumo Islamic Boarding School students with a very low degree of correlation (p = 0.675 > 0.05) and (r = -0.029) in the range of -0.00 to -0.199 degrees of correlation coefficient interpretation.Keywords: Religious Obedience, Academic Anxiety, Santri

Abstract

Strategy of Social Guidance Services and Language Skills in Shaping ABK's Social Behavior. This study aims to (1) find out the strategy of social guidance services and language skills in shaping the religious social behavior of ABK, (2) find out the obstacles faced by RBA as a mentoring institution. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research technique used is observation and interview. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive-qualitative-analytical analysis techniques. The results of the study show (1) The strategy is carried out by arranging service schedules, fostering cooperative cooperation, monitoring progress, reporting social behavior activities according to developmental achievements, (2) Obstacles faced by RBA include busy parents, lack of patience in continuing therapy at RBA to be applied at home, carelessness in the food menu that affects ABK activities that cannot be controlled, less involvement of ABK in social activities at home and with the surrounding environment, lack of parental creativity in assisting the development of ABK's socio-religious behavior.Keywords: Social Guidance, Language Skills, Children with Special Needs

Abstract

Optimizing Career Guidance in the Self-Development Process of Persons with Disabilities at the Kudus Disability Communication Forum .This study aims to obtain an in-depth description of the Implementation of Career Guidance, the efforts and obstacles in the Self-Development Process of Persons with Disabilities at the Kudus Disability Communication Forum. This study uses a qualitative approach that is presented descriptively with data collection techniques used through observation, interviews, and documentation of the activities in the Kudus Disability Communication Forum. In this study, it was found that the efforts of the FKDK were to establish relationships with social institutions so that they could develop and be accepted by the community, in addition to holding social activities to foster social feelings and empathy for fellow persons with disabilities. The obstacles experienced often come from within the individual, such as a lack of self-confidence and a willingness to grow. It is necessary to hold more training related to self-motivation, personal branding, and self-understanding in addition to developing and forming a high sense of self-esteem for people with disabilities, this is also a provision for people with disabilities.Keywords: Career Guidance, Self-Development, Disability

Abstract

Bingo Game Media to Explore The Aptitudes and Interests of The Third-Grade Students at Mts Nurul Islam Pungging-Mojokerto. The study aims to develop a product in the form of bingo game media to explore the aptitudes and interests of the third-grade students at MTs Nurul Islam Pungging-Mojokerto who met the acceptability criteria. This study uses Borg and Gall's (2008) research and development (R&D) method, which is only carried out until the fifth stage due to limited costs, power, and time. The five stages are research and data collection, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, and main product revision. The results obtained from the feasibility test are as follows: 1) The assessment of the media expert test is 98.04%, which is included in the very good category and does not need to be revised. 2) The assessment of the material expert test is 82.35%, which is included in the good category and does not need to be revised. 3) The assessment from prospective users is 78.33%, which is included in the good category and does not need to be revised. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the bingo game product to explore talents and interests shows that it has met the acceptability criteria consisting of feasibility, accuracy, usability, and suitabilityKeywords: Aptitude, Interest, Bingo Game Media.

Abstract

Optimization of Islamic Group Guidance Modules to Practice Academic Time Management Skills Madrasah Tsanawiyah Students. This study aims to determine the development of Islamic group guidance modules to train academic time management skills of class VIII B students at MTs Sunan Prawoto. Knowing the results of expert validation, Indonesian Language Teachers and Guidance and Counseling Teacher practitioners and the feasibility of Islamic group guidance modules to train academic time management skills for class VIII B students at MTs Sunan Prawoto. The method used in this research is the research and development (R&D) method. Research and development research is used to produce certain products and determine the feasibility of these products. The research subjects were 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 1 Indonesian language teacher, 3 Guidance and Counseling teachers, 1 class VIII B guardian, and 10 students of class VIII B. The results concluded that the percentage of validation from material experts got a score of 69.3 %, media experts got a score of 93.1%, and the percentage of validation from Indonesian Language Teachers got a score of 90.7%. Furthermore, the results of the last assessment by 3 Guidance and Counseling Teachers with percentage gains of 91.4%, 93.5%, and 89.5%. Overall, the percentage results obtained in a very good category, because the percentage results are in the interval assessment, namely 80%-100%, with a very good category, the development of the Islamic group guidance module is appropriate for Guidance and Counseling Teachers to train academic time management skills for class VIII B students in MTs Sunan Prawoto. Keywords: Module; Islamic Group Guidance; Academic Time Management

Abstract

Teachers' Perspectives on the Implementation of Inclusive Education Services for Children with Special Needs (ABK) in Indonesia: A Literature Review. Perspective is a certain point of view, way of thinking, and attitude about something, the ability to understand or interpret a comprehensive phenomenon in a way that makes sense, in this study, namely the implementation of inclusive education services for children with special needs. This study aims to find out teachers' perspectives on the implementation of inclusive education services for children with disabilities in various parts of Indonesia. The research method used was a systematic literature review using articles obtained online from three databases, namely google scholar, science direct, and Garuda portal with a limit of publishing the last five years. Six articles met the criteria and the results of this systematic literature review showed that in general, teachers' perspectives are positive toward the implementation of inclusive education for children with disabilities, however, it has not been maximized because there are not many adequate human resources so it is necessary to increase the capacity of educators to improve the quality of inclusive education in Indonesia.Keywords: Teachers' Perspectives, Inclusive Education, Special Needs

Abstract

Cultural Intelligence Profiles of Guidance and Counseling Teachers. Cultural bias is one of the inhibiting factors in guidance and counselling, so the process of guidance and counselling in schools is often less than optimal. One of these problems is identified by the low cultural intelligence of guidance and counselling teachers. This study aims to investigate the level of cultural intelligence of guidance and counselling teachers in providing services to students at school . The survey method with descriptive statistical analysis was used to obtain an overview of the level of cultural intelligence of guidance and counselling teachers, which was strengthened through the interpretation of the results of interviews with informants. Respondents in this study amounted to 81 people, who came from high school, and vocational junior high school levels in South Sulawesi. The results showed that the level of cultural intelligence of guidance and counseling teachers at the high school level was 19.5%; SMK was 21.88%, and SMP was 53.57%, which does not consider the cultural diversity of students (such as ethnicity, religion, language, socio-economic status, gender, etc.) in providing guidance and counseling services to students. It has implications for the inability of guidance and counseling teachers to develop multicultural-based service programs, at SMA 14.29%; SMK at 15,63%; and SMP at 21.43%. In general, this study illustrates the low cultural intelligence possessed by guidance and counseling teachers, so that a follow-up effort is in the form of development and training modules to enhance teacher guidance and counseling cultural intelligence.Keywords: Profile, Cultural Intelligence, Guidance and Counseling Teacher

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School And The Hardiness Of Santri: Collaboration Of Islamic Religious Teachers And Guidance And Counseling At Pesantren. This study aims to analyze and describe the form of implementation of the collaboration between PAI teachers and BK teachers in developing the hardiness of students at Darul Arqam Sawangan Islamic Boarding School. Hardiness is a personality that must be owned by students in carrying out life in Islamic boarding schools when facing the problems they face. The importance of doing this research because there are still minimal guidance and counseling services that are carried out and can be done in collaboration with PAI teachers in islamic boarding school. This research method used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques through three methods, including: interviews, documentation, observation, and field notes (documentation). The data analysis technique used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicated that the form of implementation of the collaboration between PAI teachers and BK teachers in developing the hardiness of students by sharing their respective tasks, such as PAI teachers who provided material to become hardiness students during teaching and learning activities and provide information related to the progress of students. Whereas, BK teachers run the BK program through personal field services for students with classical guidance techniques and group counseling. This study has limitations due to the background of students is various, this does not rule out the possibility that the level of toughness of students is different and in providing material about hardiness and it cannot be expected that all students will experience an increase.Keywords: PAI Teachers; BK Teachers; Hardiness; Islamic Boarding Schools; Santri
