Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mediating effect of customer satisfaction on product quality and service quality variables on customer loyalty at Hanamasa restaurant in Jakarta. Sampling used purposive sampling method, the collected data was processed using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that customer satisfaction was not significant as a mediating variable on the effect of product quality on loyalty, while on the effect of service quality on loyalty, customer satisfaction became a significant mediating variable. The findings of this study also show that service quality has a significant impact on customer satisfaction, and customer satisfaction has a significant impact on loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to examine and examine the effect of product quality, promotion and price on purchasing decisions by Pizza Hut customers in South Tangerang City. This research is quantitative where data is obtained by giving Likert scale questionnaires to respondents who bought Pizza Hut products in the last three months in South Tangerang City. The data collection method used purposive sampling. From the questionnaires distributed online using the google form link, of the 96 respondents who filled out, only 94 data were eligible for further processing using the SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results showed that product quality, promotion and price had a significant effect on purchasing decisions. price is not significant as a mediating variable on the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions, while on the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions, price becomes a significant mediating variable

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of halal labels on purchasing decisions with brand image as an intervening variable on Solaria restaurant consumers in Jakarta. This quantitative study was conducted using a questionnaire, the questionnaire as a research instrument using a Likert scale. Determination of the research sample using purposive sampling, with the criteria of Solaria restaurant consumers in the last year located in Jakarta and willing to fill out the questionnaire given by the researcher. From the distribution of data, 80 questionnaires were collected which were suitable for further processing. The collected data is processed using SmartPLS software. The results showed that the halal label and brand image had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image brand image was a significant mediating variable between the influence of halal labels on purchasing decisions

Abstract

This study purposed to describe the similarities and dissimilarities of Suffixes in English and Minangkabau language. There are some forms, distribution, function and meaning of suffixes in English and Minangkabau. The objective of the study are to describe some similarities and dissimilarities of using suffixes between English and Minangkabau in terms of form, distribution, function, and meaning. Thus it implemented in library research. The source of data referred to English and Minangkabau for vocabulary books. The findings shows that there are some similarities and dissimilarities of suffixes in English and Minangkabau. There are seven suffixes in English, such as ; -en, -ify, -er, ize, -less,-ness, and -al. In Minangkabau , they are -an, and -i. In English and Minangkabau has two forms, namely; vocal phonemes and consonant phonemes. In English has three distribution, namely; nouns, verbs, and adjectives. In Minangkabau has four distribution , namely; noun, verbs, adjective and numeral. In English and Minangkabau has five functions, namely; noun become adjective, noun become verb, adjective become verb, noun become noun and verb become verb. In English has six meanings, namely; the meaning of make or become, made of, to make, to do an action, the person who and tool. In Minangkabau has six meanings , namely; the meaning of tool, something related, command, to make, request and put.

Abstract

- this study aims to empirically examine the effect of work environment, leadership and motivation on turn over intention with work spirit as an intervening variable at Alfamart Semarang area. The population of this study is all employees who are in the Alfamart area of  Semarang, including Jatingaleh, Tembalang and Banyumanik, Semarang. With a total of 108 employees. In this study using a non-probability sampling technique, namely by using the Saturated Sampling (Census). Then the method of data collection through questionnaires and data analysis using SPSS 21 which includes validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing using t test and R2 test. The results of this study indicate that all independent variables, namely Work Environment, Leadership and Motivation have a positive and significant effect on Turn Over Intention (Y). This is evidenced by the t-count value of 3.408 > t-table 1.659 with a significance level of 0.00 (.0.05). This shows that the work environment variable has a positive and significant effect on morale among Alfamart employees in Semarang. Motivation obtained t arithmetic value of 2.845 > t table 1.659 with a significance level of 0.00 (< 0.05). This shows that the motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on morale at Alfamart employees in Semarang. Leadership obtained t arithmetic value of 4.591 > t table 1.659 with a significance level of 0.00 (< 0.05). This shows that the leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on morale for Alfamart employees in Semarang. Morale (Y1) obtained t value of 15,771 > t table 1,659 with a significance level of 0.00 (< 0.05). This shows that the variable of work morale has a positive and significant effect on turnover attention of Alfamart employees in Semarang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of affective commitment on police performance, cognitive commitment on police performance and normative commitment on police performance. This type of research is quantitative research using a survey method or approach. simple random sampling. Data analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software tools will be used in the model and hypothesis testing. Data were obtained by distributing online questionnaires designed with a Likert scale of 1 to 5. The stages of data analysis in this study were testing the validity, reliability and testing the hypothesis. The findings of this study are that affective commitment has a positive and significant effect on police performance, commitment cognitive has a positive and significant effect on police performance and normative commitment has a positive and significant effect on police performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discipline and work motivation on the performance of employees of PT. Expert Jaya Mandiri, South Tangerang City. This study uses quantitative methods with the sample used in this study as many as 55 respondents. The sampling technique used the Saturated sample. Data collection using SPSS 25 program. Data analysis using validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis in hypothesis testing. The results of this study are a discussion of the effect of discipline and work motivation on employee performance, as follows: Discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 12,501 + 0.230 X1, the correlation value is 0.230, meaning that both variables have a strong relationship with the coefficient of determination by 62%. Hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (2,209 > 2,007). Thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between discipline on employee performance. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y =12,501 + 0.448 X2, the correlation value is 0.448, meaning that the two variables have a strong relationship level with a coefficient of determination of 62%. Hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (4,953 > 2,007). Thus Ho is rejected and H2 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between work motivation on employee performance. Discipline and work motivation have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 12,501 + 0,230 X1+ 0,448 X2. The correlation value of 0.796 means that the independent variable and the dependent variable have a strong relationship with a coefficient of determination of 62% while the remaining 38% is contributed by other factors. Hypothesis test obtained value Fcount > Ftable or (44.983 > 4.03 ). Thus Ho is rejected and H3 is accepted. This means that there is a simultaneous significant influence between Discipline and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT. Expert Jaya Mandiri, South Tangerang City.

Abstract

— PT XYZ is an oil and gas infrastructure management and supply service company that has a very high level of work-related accident risk in every work activity. The company has a history of high cases of LTI / lost time injury (death/disabled) and non-LTI (first aid/near miss/property damage) work-related accidents in 2016 – 2020 so that the company's OHS target of Zero Accident (LTI=0) is not achieved. This study aims to 1) determine the factors causing the high rate of work-related accidents; 2) figure out how to improve OHS performance; 3) figure out the OHS program recommendations. This research is qualitative research with an exploratory approach based on a case study of OHS aspects in the company. The population of this study was 2,960 people and 118 people were taken as a sample. This study uses the Fishbone Diagram, 5Whys, and 5W+1H analysis methods to find out the root causes of the high rate of work-related accidents. The results of this study indicate that the cause of work-related accidents with the highest percentage is the Manpower aspect (47.4%), followed by the Method aspect (22.7%), Material (13.7%), Machine (6.5%), Environment (5.8%), and Measure (3.9%). This research shows the implications for the Company that by taking corrective actions and following up on research recommendations, the number of work-related accidents can decrease significantly in the period 2020 – 2021. According to the data, after the corrective action is implemented, the number of work-related accidents decreased to LTI (1 case) and non-LTI (16 cases); the number of OHS non-conformance audit results is 55 findings; the number of OHS non-conformance in the previous period that had not been followed up is 6 findings; OHSMS Application Score reached 96.38%. It is because there are managerial implications that have a real impact on company management which previously had a Profit Oriented mindset that has changed into Safety Oriented in every implementation of the company's business activities

Abstract

This study aims to analyze higher order thinking skills through a project-based learning model on acid-base material. The project being carried out is to make natural acid-base indicators and to be able to determine the acid-base properties of solutions from the natural acid-base indicators that have been made.This research was conducted from January 2021 to June 2021. This research used a qualitative research method, an interpretive paradigm with 40 students in class XI IPA in Jakarta as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out by class observation, student and teacher reflective journals, student worksheets and tests of higher order thinking skills.Based on observations, the dominant skill is analyzing skill which is equal to 83.33%, the second skill is evaluating skill which is equal to 79.16%, and the third skill is creating skill amounting to 77.50%. Based on the test results, the dominant skill is analyzing skills by 75.44%, the second skill is evaluating skills by 70.36%, and the third skill is evaluating skills by 69.58%.

Abstract

- This study aims to determine students' digital literacy through Flipped Classroom learning on buffer solution material using web-Edmodo. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Padangan, East Java. This research method is a qualitative method. The learning model used is the flipped classroom, while the Edmodo web is a platform that can be used in the teaching and learning process anywhere and anytime. Data collection techniques include distributing digital literacy questionnaires, observation, interviews, reflective journals, and documentation. The digital literacy dimensions analyzed in this study consist of information, communication, content-creation, safety, and problem-solving. The results showed that the students had a very good category in the dimensions of information, communication, content creation, and safety, while in problem-solving they had a good category. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Edmodo web in buffer solution learning through the flipped classroom can foster students' digital literacy
