Abstract

Article History Received: October 3, 2023 Revised: February 27, 2024 Published: March 7, 2024017 Keywords: Printing Activities, Recognizing Numbers Abstract: This research aims to determine the Guided Discovery Learning Model Using Number Card Media on the Ability to Recognize Numbers in Early Childhood Ages 5-6 Years. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi Experimental Design research type. The population in this study was 10 children. The sample in this study consisted of 10 children, divided into 5 children as the experimental group and 5 children as the control group. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical analysis and non-parametric analysis. The number recognition ability of children for the experimental group shows that it is -2.041 and the sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.041 < 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the number recognition ability of children in the experimental group before and after being given treatment. Based on the research results, it can be concluded It was concluded that the Number Recognition Ability of children who were treated with the Guided Discovery Learning Model Using Number Card Media in the experimental group was better than the control group. So, it can be concluded that the Guided Discovery Learning Model Using Number Card Media has a significant influence on the Number Recognition Ability of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Atira, Takalar Regency. Kata Kunci: Kegiatan mencetak, mengenal Bilangan Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetahui Model Guided Discovery Learning Menggunakan Media Kartu Angka Terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan Pada Usia 5-6 Tahun Anak Usia Dini. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperiment Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 10 orang anak. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 10 anak dengan pembagian 5 anak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 5 anak sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis non parametrik. Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan anak untuk kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sebesar -2,041 dan nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0,041 < 0,05 jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan anak pada kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan setelah diberikan perlakuan.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan anak yang diberi perlakuan Model Guided Discovery Learning Menggunakan Media Kartu Angka pada kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari kelompok kontrol. Jadi, dapat disimpilkan bahwa Model Guided Discovery Learning Menggunakan Media Kartu Angka memberikab pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Kemampuan Mengenal Bilangan anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Atira Kabupaten Takalar. ,

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the important subjects in elementary school. However, many students experience difficulties and lack motivation in learning mathematics. This can be caused by various factors. such as learning methods that are less attractive, material that is difficult to understand and a learning environment that is not conducive. This research aims to increase motivation to learn mathematics 2nd grade students at SDN 10 Tualang through the application of the group learning method. The group learning method was chosen because it can create a learning atmosphere that is more active, interactive and fun for students. Apart from that, the group learning method can also help students to exchange information and ideas, and increase feelings of trust. themselves and their independence. This research used an experimental research design with a single group pre-experimental design. The instruments used to measure student learning motivation were questionnaires and observations. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the t test. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in the motivation to learn mathematics for grade 2 students at SDN 10 Tualang after implementing the group learning method. This increase can be seen from the questionnaire scores and observation results. This shows that the group learning method is effective in increasing motivation to learn mathematics in grade 2 students at SDN 10 Tualang.

Abstract

Characteristics in Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) include action, context, history, power, and ideology. When viewed from the news coverage of the Mina tragedy, it can be analyzed according to these five characteristics. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of critical discourse analysis in the news discourse "STEBI Holds a Seminar on Creative Economy: Higher School of Business Economics holds a seminar on creative economy among university students. The data was collected using (a) the method of freeliving and proficient viewing, (b) note, (c) ) interviews, (d) literature study, and (e) documentation. The results of the research found based on these five characteristics, the most prominent are activities that can later generate jobs for the local community. In the news it was explained that students must have the enthusiasm to reach and pursue their desires and still have to study in order to increase knowledge so that what is the goal can be achieved. Abstract

The issue of education is a right that is agreed to be the main thing. Education is the key to development and developing human quality in the form of increasing competence. It is hoped that education will be able to face challenges and changes in the present and future. However, in reality there are still people who cannot get education due to costs or other reasons. The focus of this research is to find out (1) What is the process of developing Life Skills through the reading stall program in Penggaron Kidul Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City. (2) What are the results of developing Life Skills through the reading stall program, Pengaron Kidul Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City. This research uses qualitative methods with the type of field research. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. The research data sources are primary and secondary data. Data analysis techniques include: (1) Data Reduction. (2) data presentation. (3) conclusion. The results of this research show that 1) the process of developing Life Skills through the reading stall program in Penggaron Kidul Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City is carried out with various activities including: (a) Preparation Stage (b) Assessment Stage (c) Alternative program planning stage. (d) action plan stage (f) Program Implementation Stage (g) Evaluation Stage. (h) Termination Stage 2). The results of developing Life Skills through the reading stall program, Penggaron Kidul Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City include, (a) Personal aspects, namely the development of the abilities of the community, being able to identify the potential they have, the community being able to solve problems independently, as well as having a positive influence on children. can be independent, creative, innovative, disciplined, responsible, civilized, polite and have good morals. (b) social aspects include sensitivity to the surrounding environment, taking part in community activities, children's attitudes that are no longer individualistic with cooperation always implemented so that reciprocal communication occurs. (c) academic aspects, developing reading and writing skills for illiterate people. developing community insight and fulfilling formal education for out-of-school children with study guidance, critical thinking skills, the ability to express opinions and public speaking to the general public with clear sources, namely reading materials and activities carried out in the reading stall program. (d) vocational aspects are demonstrated by various directions through community entrepreneurship training, having online marketing skills for MSME products and exploring talent interests, skills in the art of music for children and teenagers, namely with Drumband.

Abstract

Bale Tani is a traditional traditional house inhabited by the Sasak tribe, which is generally used as a residence. The word "Bale" means house, while "Tani" comes from the Sasak language which means farmer. This research aims to explore the mathematical concepts found in Sasak culture in the Bale Tani traditional house in Rembitan Village as a source of learning and understanding the implementation of ethnomathematics in Sasak culture in Bale Tani traditional house in Rembitan Village in mathematics learning. This research uses qualitative research with an ethnographic approach that describes culture, where the data used is observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that in the Bale Tani traditional house there is a geometric concept such as building flat and building space in the Bale Tani traditional house. The flat shapes found include trapezoidal shapes on the roof of the Bale Tani traditional house when seen from the front, Rectangular shapes on the door shape of the Bale Tani traditional house, Triangle shapes on the roof of the Bale Tani traditional house when seen from the side, Square shapes found on the shape ceiling or ceiling of the Bale Tani traditional house. Meanwhile, the spatial structure found in the Bale Tani traditional house is that the shape of the stairs in the Bale Tani traditional house looks like a block.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh sebuah fenomena bahwa sekolah atau lembaga pendidikan masih terdapat kasus perundungan seperti adanya tingkah laku perundungan yang mengganggu, mengusik atau bahkan membahayakan koban perundungan dan membuat korban tidak merasa nyaman. Maka hal ini, mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian tentang strategi guru dalam menangani perilaku perundungan di sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bentuk perilaku perundungan di sekolah dasar, strategi guru dalam menangani perilaku perundungan dan upaya yang dilakukan seorang guru dalam mengatasi perilaku perundungan di tengah tantang dan hambatan yang dihadapinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dilakukan dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara tertulis menggunakan google form dan dokumentasi. Kata Kunci : Strategi Guru, Perundungan, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Abstract : Triage is an important thing to do in emergency unit installation. It is used to determine priority of emergency management to allow medical team handling patients whom need quick management accurately and being capable of improving life opportunity of the patient. Triage begins since a patient enters emergency unit where its nurses assess based on subjective and objective reviews quickly and accurately. However, this process requires supportive knowledge, experience, education, and working environment in determining priority of the patients. This research aims to identify factors correlating to triage decision making of the nurses in Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat emergency unit. It is an analytic observational research with cross sectional approach by taking 135 respondents. The findings showed correlation among knowledge, experience, education, and working environment to triage decision making with each p score is 0.000. The most influential variable is knowledge with coefficient B 5.204. Knowledge, experience, education, and working environment influenced triage decision making. It is also expected to have standard requirement for nurses working in triage room so triage may run maximally.

Abstract

Abstrak: Laboratorium virtual sangat diperlukan sebagai sarana pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan tentang proses pembelajaran berbasis sains. Saat ini, laboratorium virtual sains seperti kimia bukan lagi hanya merupakan alternatif, tetapi sudah menjadi bagian pembelajaran praktikum kimia yang berbasis laboratorium maya sesuai perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Secara khusus pembelajaran kimia berbasis teknologi seperti Physical education technology (PhET). Hal yang paling penting yang dilakukan adalah untuk berhasil di laboratorium virtual akan sama dengan pelaksanaan laboratorium di sekolah secara nyata untuk meningkatkan keterampilan memahami konsep sains. Di era teknologi saat ini, teknologi sudah menjadi bagian dari pembelajaran tersebut, sehingga untuk meningkatkan keterampilan tersebut, maka pelatihan blended PhET-Vokoscreen merupakan cara yang sangat perlu dilakukan guna peningkatan sains virtual pada sekolah. Kebutuhan media virtual ini, sering diabaikan di dalam pembelajaran sains, dan terus mengandalkan secara manual, padahal sering ditemukan keterbatasan fasilitas manual, sehingga seringnya praktikum tidak terlaksana disebabkan fasilitas yang kurang memadai dan akan mempengaruhi keterampilan sains peserta didik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk merespon ketidak mampuan virtual sains pada guru dan peserta didik IPA di sekolah yayasan DDI Jayapura. berbasis blended PhET-Vokoscreen, agar guru dan peserta didik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan sains virtual.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menemukan hubungan antara kompetensi tata bahasa siswa dan keterampilan menulis mereka. Sampel yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas II MTs. Al-Muini Sesela terdiri dari 35 siswa. Siswa diberikan 25 soal berbentuk pilihan ganda pada tes kompetensi tata bahasa dan diminta menulis minimal 100 kata tentang pengalamannya dalam bentuk paragraf pada tes keterampilan menulis. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dengan menggunakan rumus: rxy=X/(Xy2)x(Xy2). Temuan yang diperoleh adalah: 1) rata-rata siswa memperoleh nilai yang cukup baik dalam tes kompetensi tata bahasa. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil rata-rata nilai siswa sebesar 6,76. 2) rata-rata siswa memperoleh nilai cukup baik dalam tes keterampilan menulis. Hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata nilai siswa sebesar 6,74. 3) Terdapat korelasi antara kompetensi tata bahasa siswa dengan keterampilan menulisnya yang dapat dilihat dari nilai “r” dengan N = 35 (r= 0,823) lebih besar dari nilai “r” pada tabel ( r= 0,334) pada taraf signifikansi 5% dan (r= 0,430) pada taraf signifikansi 1%. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi tata bahasa mempunyai peran yang tinggi dalam keterampilan menulis. Jelas bahwa hipotesis alternatif (Ha) yang menyatakan “ada korelasi antara kompetensi tata bahasa siswa dan keterampilan menulis mereka diterima. Kata Kunci: siswa, kompetensi, tata bahasa inggris, keterampilan menulis Abstract: This study is intended to discover the correlation between students’ grammar competence and their writing skill. The samples chose was the second grade students of MTs. Al-Muini Sesela consists 35 students. The students were given 25 questions in the form of multiple choice types on grammar competence test and they were asked to write at least 100 words about their experience in the form of paragraph on writing skill test. The procedure of collecting data was testing technique by using formula: rxy= /(Xy2)x(Xy2). The result findings were: 1) the students’ average gets fairly good score in grammar competence test. It can be seen from the result of mean of the students’ score that was 6.76. 2) the students’ average get fairly good score in their writing skill test. It can be seen from the mean of the students’ score that was 6.74. 3) There is a correlation between the students’ grammar competence and their writing skill which can be observed from the value of “r” with N = 35 (r= 0.823) that was greater than the value of “r” at the table (r= 0.334) at the level of significance 5% and (r= 0.430) at the level of significance 1%. Therefore, the result shows that grammar competence has a high role in writing skill. It is clear that the Alternative hypothesis (Ha) which says “there is a correlation between students’ grammar competence and their writing skill was accepted. Abstract

The study investigated listening comprehension problems of EFL students at coastal area, the strategies they used to solve the problems, and the learners’ view on learning listening with prior knowledge related content. To collect the data, 90 students taking the listening course on on-going semester participated by answering questionnaire which consist of 31 items. The results show that the students experienced listening problems on moderate level in all three cognitive processing related to perception problems, parsing problems, and utilization problems. This finding also indicate that the students have poor competency on the speech rate, clarity, vocabulary, and grammar structure. Meanwhile, to overcome these difficulties, the students prefer authentic listening audio and activities indicating ‘listening more to English songs’, ‘watching more English movie’, and ‘listening more to English classroom lectures’ on the highest demand. Reasonably, the EFL students at coastal area approve that listening to relevant knowledge content particularly marine life would support their comprehension. After all, considering content that links to students’ environmental context is necessarily noteworthy to support EFL students’ comprehension in listening.
