Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has entered human life in a short time. This causes several aspects of human life to experience shocks, including currency. Many product scopes have been affected by this pandemic, including the food and beverage business sector. The food and beverage business sector must remain active and think of ways to attract customers and make these customers satisfied with the services provided. In the context of customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction is not necessarily obtained at that time instantly because their needs are met. Customer satisfaction is established and maintained by fulfilling personal needs and touching the emotional aspects of customers. Solidarity, the sensitivity of being part of a family, is the satisfaction customers want during the pandemic and becomes the new normal.

Abstract

The ability to master technology and information in this digitalization era is very necessary. The purpose of this activity is to provide insight into design for SMP Negeri 2 Susut students located in Abuan Village in using the Canva application. An effort to provide a way to make designs that are easy and attractive is to use an application that offers templates. With Canva, students can create with a selection of available templates, create posters, info graphics, logos and PowerPoints needed in today's learning systems. In carrying out this activity, the implementation was carried out using training methods and demonstrations to participants in using the Canva application. This educational activity was attended by around 50 participants from class IX students of SMP Negeri 2 Susut. The final result of this activity is that the participants have an overview of using Canva and the poster designs resulting from the creativity of the participants.

Abstract

Human Resources needed in the Industrial Age 4.0 must have at least 5 main competencies including critical thinking and problem-solving. The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education and Culture plans to include two additional competencies in the education curriculum in Indonesia, namely Computational Thinking (CT) and Compassion. Computational thinking is considered one of the basic competencies to complete these skills. Computational Thinking and Compassion additional competencies are needed to face the digital technology era. But on the other hand, teacher and student knowledge about computational thinking is still very minimal. Some elementary schools still do not utilize technology to encourage students' thinking skills. One way to practice these skills is to teach programming to early childhood. Among the methods that can be used to introduce computational thinking to elementary school, students are workshops and training activities. Therefore, the objectives of this activity are to educate students on how to use the Scratch application to introduce mathematical and computational thinking in elementary schools and to provide hands-on experience for students in introducing simple programming concepts by creating animation projects and games. The results that students get after attending this training are an increased understanding and experience of how to use computers and students can make simple animations and games with the Scratch application.

Abstract

One of the efforts to support the availability of food, especially vegetables as a provider of healthy family nutrition during a pandemic, is to use yards for the cultivation of various types of plants. One of the activities that can be done is to carry out vegetable cultivation activities. The partner of this activity is South Tambun village RT 04. The location of the partner has a yard but is felt to be less than optimal related to its utilization. The condition of the yard so far has not contributed to the fulfillment or support of daily needs. Furthermore, the yard so far, in addition to not contributing added value to the fulfillment of daily needs, also does not provide comfort and beauty. If the yard is arranged and empowered, it is expected to add aesthetic value and contribute to the needs of the community, especially vegetables for daily consumption. So that the arrangement and utilization of the yard as one solution that can contribute to daily needs, especially vegetables. The implementation of activities starts from counseling, training, mentoring and evaluation. Training begins with spreading vegetable seeds, followed by care and harvesting. Evaluation of activities related to enthusiasm and satisfaction from service activities that have been carried out reaches 92%.

Abstract

The purpose of community service activities in Kalikidang Village is to provide counseling to MSMEs about business management so that MSMEs are able to become pillars of the Indonesian economy, contribute to the GRDP of Banyumas Regency and are able to absorb labor. This community service activity uses counseling methods to present material from resource persons to the audience, in addition, the practice of creating branding and marketplaces to increase online sales and marketing is carried out. The service activity is said to be successful, because it can increase knowledge and understanding of branding and marketplace around 80% of MSME actors in Kalikidang Village. The MSME actors of Kalikidang Village were very enthusiastic in listening to the explanations from the resource persons, and gave a positive response to student assistance. Thus, MSME players have a strong desire to create branding with the aim of increasing sales through online marketing. To increase the knowledge and understanding of MSME actors about branding and marketplaces, the Village Head and his staff should need to increase soft skills activities to increase the understanding and skills of MSME actors in managing their business will later help MSMEs in entering the world of competition, both nationally and globally

Abstract

Electronics are widely used by business people to market the products they sell and are often known as e-commerce. Apart from that, on the other hand, in assisting government programs in the creative economy sector, there are many MSMEs that have grown in several regions in Indonesia, one of which is MSMEs under Sukamekar Village, Kab. Bekasi. As many MSMEs grow, there are many obstacles experienced by MSME players, one of which is product sales strategy. The product sales strategy carried out by MSME players in Sukamekar Village, Kab. Bekasi, is still traditional, and the packaging of the goods sold does not attract buyers' interest, so the solutions provided in community service activities are: 1) providing counseling regarding online media literacy for MSMEs; 2) providing entrepreneurship training for MSMEs to increase product sales. The objectives of community service activities are: 1) increasing knowledge and understanding of social media literacy for MSMEs; 2) improving MSME sales strategies in the era of digitalization; and 3) increasing knowledge and understanding of MSME players in product packaging. The method for implementing community service activities consists of three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage (counseling and training), and the evaluation stage. Participants were representatives of MSME actors under the auspices of the Sukamekar Village office, Kab. Bekasi, as many as 20 people. The results of the activity showed that there was interest from the participants, as evidenced by the enthusiastic attitude of the participants when taking part in the activity and also proven by the results of the pre- and post-tests, which showed an increase in the participants' knowledge and skills.

Abstract

Cosmetology is facial art that aims to beautify the appearance of the face, with the right make-up technique it can cover some of the flaws on the face, make the face look fresh and bright. The rise of bridal models with make-up in modern clothes encourages housewives and young women in education. By doing this cosmetology training, unemployed housewives and young women can spend time attending cosmetology training courses. After they master make-up they can open their own make-up salon business. Makeup skills are also used as future capital to help restart the family economy. The method used in cosmetology training is to impart theoretical and practical principles. Planning begins with an explanation of material regarding make-up with make-up techniques and then continues with a make-up demo with the mothers. The goal is to tell the participants how to start from start to finish; what materials and tools to use, and so on.

Abstract

The problem of low reading culture is one of the important issues in understanding the low level of literacy of Indonesian people. In addition to the low interest in reading, students' interest in visiting the library is still low. This can occur due to lack of reading material, then the available reading material does not vary so that it causes students to be lazy to read. So it is necessary to get used to the culture of reading in order to increase interest starting among early childhood. The partner of this activity is the Study Group in the South Tambun area. In the implementation there are five cycles of stages ranging from observation, counseling, training, mentoring and evaluation. The results of this activity all cycles involve an active role between the team and partners in developing the reading room corner. The enthusiasm for the existing reading room corner was welcomed with pleasure from teachers, students who felt facilitated and the realization of the reading room corner and the general public in the environment around the partner location.

Abstract

After covid passed, many schools innovated in the learning process, so that the learning process could still run well. Students who have become accustomed to online learning need to be innovative again after COVID-19 has passed. The use of the metaverse has now been widely discussed for use in the learning process. Metaverse, a 3D digital space mixed with the real and virtual worlds, has been heralded as a future educational trend with great potential. However, as an emerging item, existing studies rarely discuss the metaverse from an educational perspective, so far, the metaverse is still used for games or product promotion. The community service that will be carried out is, so that teachers understand the concept of the metaverse, explain the role of the metaverse in the world of education and learning, design and build a simple metaverse ecosystem, operate metaverse applications, manage metaverse administration, choose pedagogic models that are suitable in the metaverse and represent the results of metaverse design. Thus, teachers are expected to make online learning fun. Training is held for ten (10) meetings, and each meeting is held for seven (7) hours. The results of the 100% training of participants consisting of 23 teachers ranging from kindergarten teachers to high school teachers, succeeded in creating a virtual learning space in the metaverse world.

Abstract

The Covid pandemic has changed customer service expectations for coffee shop managers. Customers expect service adaptations based on post-pandemic situations and conditions so that their needs continue to be met. Not all coffee shop managers can immediately adapt to customer desires, so they need to get assistance to be able to adapt to customer demands. Currently the situation has begun to shift from a pandemic to an endemic, of course customer expectations have also changed again. Therefore, this community service activity with an entrepreneurial scheme has a moment of urgency to provide a solution to the problem of adapting coffee shop managers to customer expectations. In general, the community service activities for the entrepreneurship scheme are focused on increasing the management capacity and capability of partner coffee shop entrepreneurs in East Bekasi through a customer survey process. At a further stage, this community service activity will carry out a series of training and assistance to adapt management and standard operational procedures (SOP) for coffee shop management to suit customer expectations. The survey results will be tabulated and analyzed as material for adapting management and management SOPs to suit customer expectations
