Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa E-LKPD berbasis pendekatan open-ended berbantuan aplikasi flipbook dalam memahami konsep lingkaran yang valid dan praktis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian menghasilkan produk E-LKPD berbasis pendekatan open-ended pada materi lingkaran. Prosedur penelitian yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, dan revisi produk. Tahap uji coba produk dilakukan kepada 30 peserta didik kelas VIII D MTs Ma'arif 02 Kota Gajah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli materi, lembar validasi ahli media, dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penilaian dari validasi ahli materi dan ahli media menghasilkan nilai rata-rata persentase 93,05% dengan kriteria validasi yaitu “Sangat Valid”. Hasil analisis dari angket respon peserta didik pada tahap uji coba terbatas memperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 85,55% dengan kriteria kepraktisan “Sangat Praktis”. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pengembangan E-LKPD Matematika Berbasis Open-Ended valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran berbasis proyek P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Siswa Pancasila) materi gaya hidup berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa Kelas I SDI AL-MUAWANAH. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat faktor yang mempengaruhi kreativitas siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Ada beberapa faktor sebagai berikut; a) Adanya siswa yang kurang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan, b) Karakter siswa berbeda-beda sehingga kurang mendapat perhatian atau pengamatan, dan c) pelaksanaan kegiatan P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila ) memakan waktu lama. Namun dapat dibuktikan dari hasil penelitian mengungkapkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas pada siswa SDI Al-Muawanah Surabaya yang telah melaksanakan pembelajaran P5 “Proyek Penguatan Profil Siswa Pancasila” melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan melalui penerapan project based learning. Hal ini berdampak pada kreativitas siswa kelas I, dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dengan proyek P5 (Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila), siswa kelas 1 dapat meningkatkan kreativitasnya dengan mendaur ulang sampah plastik. Hasil daur ulang antara lain vas bunga, tempat celengan, dan bunga yang terbuat dari tutup botol.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan siswa dalam kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan. Ada beberapa hal yang menyebabkan kurang baiknya kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa yaitu diantaranya: (1) siswa kurang termotivasi serta pasif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, (2) siswa cenderung lambat dan kurang akurat saat berhitung, dan (3) ada beberapa siswa yang daya tangkapnya lemah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh penerapan metode jarimatika terhadap kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa kelas II SD Negeri Talang Jali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan jenis quasi eksperimental desaign dan bentuk desain yang digunakan adalah nonequivalent control group design. Siswa kelas II SD Negeri Talang Jali pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024 merupakan populasi dalam penelitian ini, sedangkan sampel penelitian terdiri dari kelas eksperimen (II A) dan kelas kontrol (II B). Teknik pemilihan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling. Metode pengumpulan data memanfaatkan soal tes dalam format pilihan ganda. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik n-gain serta uji t dan uji prasyarat. Hasil penelitian telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil uji t pada nilai n-gain, yaitu thitung = 4,155 > ttabel = 2,018 maka H0 ditolak, dan dilihat dari hasil rata-rata bahwa kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada di kelas kontrol yang tidak mendapat perlakuan. Oleh karena itu, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan metode jarimatika terhadap kemampuan berhitung penjumlahan siswa kelas II SD Negeri Talang Jali.

Abstract

The point of this exploration is to see if there is an impact of the Context oriented Educating and Learning (CTL) learning model on understudies' critical thinking skills in level sided space building material for class VIII SMP IT Insan Robbani, to figure out which critical abilities to think are better. between high, medium and low learning autonomy in class VIII understudies at SMP IT Insan Robbani, and to see if there is a collaboration between the learning model and learning freedom on the critical abilities to think of class VIII understudies at SMP IT Insan Robbani. Using a statistical group comparison research design, this study is experimental. A posttest, or final ability test, is used in the statistical group comparison research design. The populace in this review were all understudies of class VIII SMP IT Insan Robbani. The cluster random sampling method was used for the sampling. Two-way ANOVA was used to analyze the data. The following conclusions can be drawn from the data analysis: 1) The CTL learning model has an effect on one's ability to solve problems. 2) Understudies with high learning autonomy have a similar critical thinking skills as understudies with moderate mastering freedom, understudies with high learning autonomy have preferable critical abilities to think over understudies with low learning freedom, and understudies with moderate learning autonomy have preferred critical abilities to think better over understudies with low learning freedom. 3) The CTL learning model and independent learning on problem-solving skills do not interact.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how well educational materials based on geometry may improve students' comprehension of mathematical concepts within the context of trigonometric comparison involving right triangles at the high school level (Class X). The research employs a nonequivalent control group design, with participants comprising 34 at SMA N 14 Semarang, 36 pupils from Class X 3 and 36 students from Class X 2. Data collection encompasses interviews and assessments, with analysis conducted in two stages: initial data examination utilizing a pretest and final data scrutiny employing a posttest. Each stage involves assessments for normality, homogeneity, t-test, and N-Gain. The findings reveal that the utilization of the instructional media yielded a significant improvement in the experimental group, evidenced by an N-Gain score of 0.59 (59%), markedly higher than the control group's score of 0.30 (30%). In summary, the integration of Geogebra-based media in teaching trigonometric comparisons involving right triangles is demonstrated to be effective, fostering a positive impact on students' comprehension of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

The use of learning media that is easy to make and use is needed by teachers along with technological advances. Learning media has a significant influence on the learning process. Observations at Miftahussadah Elementary School in Gebog Subdistrict show that although learning is quite varied, conventional methods without the help of media are still often used. Students' learning motivation is a determining factor in learning activities. The more interesting the learning media used, the higher the tendency and attention of students in learning. This study aims to see the effect of Arcademics media on students' interest in learning. This study used a one group pretest-posttest pre-experiment design. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a total of 14 students from class V SD Miftahussadah. Data analysis includes validity and reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests (Levene's test), and t-tests with the help of SPSS applications. The results showed that the use of Arcademics media had a positive influence on students' learning motivation.

Abstract

To produce graduates with new literacy skills, such as data literacy, technology literacy, and human literacy, combined with noble character, precise learning planning is essential. One such plan is the Semester Program Plan (RPS) integrated with Islamic values, aligning with the needs of Industry 4.0 graduates and the vision of the study program, faculty, and university. This study aims to develop an Islamic-integrated RPS that is feasible and effective for the Selected Topics in Junior High School Mathematics course. The research subjects were first-semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung, for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) by Thiagarajan. Data collection techniques included expert assessment sheets, observation sheets for learning implementation and student activities, student response questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis was conducted using average scores and percentages. The findings of this study include four stages. In the define stage, data revealed that the characteristics of students include being closer to peers for sharing ideas and providing mutual support, being independent, and having a high curiosity about technological advancements. In the design stage, an RPS integrated with Islamic values was developed. In the develop stage, a feasible and effective RPS was obtained. In the disseminate stage, the RPS was used by the course instructor. With a feasible and effective learning tool integrated with Islamic values, it can enhance students' academic achievement and character development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Learning Cycle 5E model assisted by Macromedia Flash media on the understanding of quadrilateral concepts by seventh-grade students at SMP Islam Alfalah Abung Tinggi. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with the Nonequivalent Control Group Design method. The sample consists of two classes, with the experimental class taught using the Learning Cycle 5E model assisted by Macromedia Flash, and the control class taught using traditional learning models with PowerPoint. Data were collected using a validated descriptive test and analyzed using t-test to examine the differences between pretest and posttest scores. The analysis results show a significant effect of the Learning Cycle 5E model assisted by Macromedia Flash on improving students' concept understanding, with a t-value = 2.863 > t-table = 1.671, indicating that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, and the null hypothesis is rejected. This finding contributes to the development of mathematics education, specifically in enhancing the understanding of quadrilateral concepts through more interactive and engaging teaching methods.

Abstract

The fact of the problem of low critical thinking skills of students is 65.49% in accordance with the provisions of the KKM which is 70. In addition, from the results of observations obtained students are less able to analyze ideas to solve a problem. In addition, students are reluctant to do practice questions that would enable students to be competent in determining strategies and conclusions in solving questions. One of the models indicated as being able to overcome the problem of low critical thinking skills in statistical material is the TPS Model. The study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the TPS model on the critical thinking skills of statistical material for class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi, North Lampung in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This research method is quantitative experimental with a quasi-experimental design. The form of quasi-experimental chosen is nonequivalent control group design. Then samples were taken from two classes, namely one class VII D for the experimental class using the TPS model and one class VII C using the model commonly used by teachers. The results of data analysis using the t-test, obtained tcount = 3.102 and ttable 1.990 then tcount> ttable so that H0 is rejected, and Ha is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the TPS model on the critical thinking skills of statistical material for class VII students of SMP Negeri 3 Kotabumi

Abstract

This research focuses on assessing the enhancement of students' performance in mathematics through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, supported by algebra element cards specifically in the area of algebraic expressions. The study employs a quantitative method with a comparative framework. The target population includes seventh- grade students from UPT SMPN 2 Gading Rejo. A sample was drawn from two classes selected by a cluster random sampling method, where VII A served as the experimental group utilizing the CTL approach along with algebra element card media, while VII B acted as the control group engaging with a traditional teaching model that also incorporated algebra element cards. The subsequent data analysis utilized the Mann-Whitney Test due to the data not satisfying the normality assumption. The results of the data analysis show that , thus it can be concluded that the CTL learning model assisted by algebra element card media has a significant effect on improving the mathematics learning outcomes of the 7th-grade students of UPT SMPN 2 Gading Rejo
