Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an android-based learning media that can be used by sixth-grade elementary school (SD) students with the content of science subjects on theme 9 with material on the solar system. The background of this research is the boredom of students in implementing Distance Learning (PJJ) so that it requires interesting learning media that can be used anytime and anywhere offline. This research is a development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model procedure. Analysis of the data used is quantitative data analysis. The validation used is media and material validation carried out by experts in their fields. The respondents who were involved in testing the feasibility of the media included class VI teachers, and 20 elementary school students in class VI. The results of this study indicate that the Sembia Sosis (Happy Easy Learning Natural Sciences material for Solar Systems) application which was developed has the characteristics of a file in the form of an application package (apk) that can be installed and run using android that supports students to study independently. Based on the results of expert validation and respondents, overall it was concluded that the Sembia Sosis application suitable for use as a learning medium.

Abstract

Due to the fact that the practice of online learning in Islamic elementary school students is considered ineffective, the government has issued a policy to implement face-to-face learning with limiting setting (PTMT) during the outbreak. This study aims to investigate the response of parents of students at MIN 1 Kolaka Utara regarding the implementation of such policy. This study employs a descriptive quantitative approach with 160 respondents who were selected purposively. Research data was collected through using an open questionnaire by google form. The result uncovered that 95% of the parents agreed that online learning was ineffective due to students easily getting bored studying at home, the difficulty of students to understand the material, and the eagerness of students to back to school. 3.1% of the parents were hesitant to such policy because of the existing of COVID-19 cases, the questionable PTMT, the doubtful compliance with health protocols, and lack of information about covid-19. And 1.9% of the parents disagreed with the policy because there are still cases of covid-19, PTMT was carried out in shifts setting, and most citizens are still unwilling to comply with health protocols. According to parent's response, the implementation of the PTMT has advantages such as the existing of interaction between students and teacher, the ease of understanding the material, and the high motivation of students to learn. However, PTMT has drawbacks. The implementation of class learning is still limited, the learning applies a shift system, students are still learning independently, and health protocols are not optimal to comply. In general, as much 49.3% of the parents considered the PTMT should be continued, 6.9% of them agreed on the PTMT should not be implemented, and (43.8%) suggested another method like blended learning to apply.

Abstract

The learning process carried out by educators is varied in using learning models, but student learning outcomes are still low. Based on these problems, the researchers tested the learning process using a learning model that educators had never used, namely the take and give model. This study aims to determine the effect of the take and give learning model assisted by audio-visual media on learning outcomes for class III MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. The type of research used is quantitative research, with a quasi-experimental design (nonequivalent control group design). The place where this research was carried out was at MIN 10 Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted in class III, using two classes as the experimental class and the control class and one class as the validation class. The instruments used to collect data in this study were tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique using t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of using the take and give learning model assisted by audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of class III MIN 10 Bandar Lampung

Abstract

The rapid development of technology today does not fully have a positive impact on children. The breadth of access to online games, the ease of access and operationalization make children forget the time when playing them. This is a concern for all groups including parents, because online games have penetrated the family as well as school level. The fun effect of playing online games turns out to have an impact on children's low social attitudes. This research was conducted to explore and prove the extent to which children are addicted to online games and how much influence online games have on children's social attitudes. This study uses a quantitative non-experimental design approach. The research sample was 25 people who were assigned randomly (randomly). The methods used are interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study consisted of validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and linear test. While data analysis using hypothesis testing includes simple linear regression test, and test the coefficient of determination. The results of the study reveal that the effect of online games has a significant effect on children's social attitudes as evidenced by the results of simple linear regression where the output is known to be calculated F value = 18.966 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. This data recommends that there is an influence of online games (X) on social attitudes (Y), this data is also proven from the calculation of the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.963, which explains that the independent variable (online games) on the dependent variable (social attitudes) is 96 .3% of children's social attitudes are influenced by online games and the category is very high.

This study aims to describe the use of the storytelling method as an alternative to improving Indonesian speaking skills, to foster appreciation for Indonesian literary works, and to find out the extent of the effect of the storytelling method in improving the speaking skills of class II MI Misbahul Fata students. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Mc spiral model design. Taggart which has four cycle components. Each research cycle includes stages; planning, observation and reflection. The subject of this study was students of class II MI Misbahul Fata, who in fact were in the Islamic boarding school environment, Klenang Kidul Village, Banyuanyar District, totaling 12 students. The problem that is rife with students is that they usually mix their mother tongue with the national language. There are several steps to implementing this storytelling method; The first is the opening stage, the second is the storytelling stage, the third is the closing and evaluation stage. In the early stages, the acquisition of student scores was 64.6% in the initial cycle from the previous data of approximately 59.5%, in the second cycle the average was 71.25%. In cycle I the completeness of the number of participants was around 58.3%, from cycle I it increased to 83.3% in cycle II.
