Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of Classroom Approach Management can improve the Discipline of Class VB Students at SDN 002 Sungai Pinang in 2020. This research was conducted at SDN 002 Sungai Pinang from April to July 2020. This research design used a qualitative research design. The population of this study used students of class VB SDN 002 Sungai Pinang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the research subjects namely the teacher, the principal and four students. This study uses data collection techniques with interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used was data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. Based on the results of research and interviews, it is known that there are ten approaches that are applied by teachers in the classroom in improving discipline. The teacher takes this approach in turn according to the classroom situation. However, of the ten applied approaches that are more widely applied and have an influence in increasing student discipline, namely the power approach, for example, the imposition of sanctions, the freedom approach, for example, including students in making rules in class, teaching approaches.

Abstract

The objectives achieved in this research are to find out the use of think pair share type cooperative learning models in Social Studies learning of Artificial Appearance in Indonesia, to find out the increase in students' learning achievement by using cooperative learning models of think pair share type in SDI Ende 14 Ende Timur district, Ende Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research, with a qualitative approach to grade 5 students of SDI Ende 14. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, learning outcomes tests and documentation. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. Based on the results of the evaluation of the first cycle with a percentage of completeness of 54% and an average of 57.45%, the results of the evaluation of the second cycle with a percentage of completeness of 100% with an average of 90%, the application of the cooperative learning model type think pair share with the material appearance made in Indonesia can improve student learning achievement.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Bahasa Indonesia berperan terhadap perkembangan sosial, intelektual, dan emosional peserta didik. Mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia diharapkan dapat membantu peserta didik untuk membentuk karakter berbahasa sopan, budaya, mengemukakan pendapat dengan baik, dan meningkatkan kemampuan analisis serta imajinatif. Mata kuliah bahasa Indonesia memiliki problematika terbesar, yaitu kurangnya kreativitas metode dan media ajar sehingga membuat peserta didik jenuh mengikuti proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Penulis mencoba mengungkapkan perlu adanya pembaharuhan media ajar. Media ajar yang digunakan harus dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik seperti media sosial khususnya YouTube. Belajar dan ngobrol santai dengan keluarga sering menggunakan sosial media. Era globalisasi dan teknologi sosial media dari kehidupan masyarakat modern. Kebiasaan menggunakan media sosial ini secara tidak langsung dapat menjadikan penggunanya mengakses informasi dan mempelajari informasi yang diaksesnya, sehingga tidak heran jika saat ini perekembangan dan penyebaran bahasa berjalan dengan sangat cepat. Era digital ini menandai bahwa saat ini masyarakat sudah menjadi masyarakat yang modern. Sosial media yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu YouTube.

Abstract

Nowadays, people can easily access everything with one-click away. For example, when you want to read an article in foreign language which you are not familiar with, then you just need to open Google Translate and within seconds, you will get the translation of it. To deal with that reality, a translator has to differentiate himself from machine translation which is increasingly used by the public. Therefore, the translator is required to produce an equivalent and natural translation in the Target Language. This research aims to provide understanding of translation equivalence on video transcripts conducted by students in Movie Translation (Subtitling) course. This study uses qualitative approach, content analysis method, and purposive sampling to collect data. In short, there are two types of translation equivalence used by students, formal and dynamic. Formal equivalence focuses on the similarity of the form and meaning of the message from Source Language to Target Language, while dynamic one focuses on the naturalness of expression in the Target Language.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of using Paired Reading/ Paired Summarizing on reading in comprehension student at SMK Abdurrab Pekanbaru, especially in Health Analysis department. This research used quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design. The total sample was 64 students who were divided into two classes, as experimental and control class. In ready ability pre-test reading ability the result showed 68.8% students were in bad category from both experimental and control classes. After conducting an experiment using the Paired Reading / Paired Summarizing learning method with the same teaching material, 12 students (35.3%) were obtained in the good category and 10 students (29.4%) in the very good category from experimental class, while the control class contained only 4 students (11.8%) and 2 students (5.9%) with the same category. The research can be concluded that using Paired Reading/Paired Summarizing on occasional student of Abdurrab Pekanbaru can increase the reading comprehension of student ability.

Abstract

Bertolak dari latar belakang tersebut rumusan masalahnya    adalah : 1) Apakah penerapan model kooperatif tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan  hasil belajar Pada Pembelajaran Kerajaan dan Peninggalan Hindu di Indonesia Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Penetahuan Sosial, 2) Bagaimana pengaruh penerapan model STAD dapat meningkatkan  hasil belajar Pada Pembelajaran Kerajaan dan Peninggalan Hindu di Indonesia Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan itu peneliti menggunakan metode Tes (pre test dan post test) dan metode observasi dalam pengumpulan data sebagai bukti atau fakta dalam penelitian ini. Hasil yang dalam penelitian “Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Untuk meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Kelas V SDN Dinoyo I Malang Materi Kerajaan dan Peninggalan Hindu di Indonesia ”lebih meningkat. Hal ini terlihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum menggunakan model Pembelajaran KooperatifTipe STAD adalah 50 dan setelah menggunakan model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD  nilai rata-rata siswa adalah 84,61. Sedangkan persentase peserta didik yang tertarik saat pembejaran tipe STAD sebesar 100%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether modif and medan can improve Civics learning outcomes class VII at MTs Negeri 2 Karanganyar. The method used was development research with a population of 315 students from 10 classes, with a random sample of 59 students. The results showed that the increase in Civics learning outcomes of students in the experimental class obtained a higher average pretest and psychological test compared to the control class, namely 80 and 65 and there was an implication on the increase in the value increase of pretest cycle I 79.3 (including good category) to 85.5 in the pretest cycle II and postest 95.9 cycle I to 98.6 (very good category) cycle II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how effective game-based learning is for improving Javanese script reading and writing skills. This research method is qualitative with the sources of data from this study are caregivers, foster children, and documents. The target in this study was the Al-Maun orphanage located on Margo Noyo street, Ngajum Village, Ngajum District, Malang Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, documentation and tests. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the game-based learning method is very effective in improving the ability to read and write Javanese script among children. Judging from the results the average value of children - children increased and only 8% are below the average (75).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' reading skills in the early reading aspect with the help of power points for first grade students at SDN Simokerto VI/139 Surabaya. Power point is made with a unique display accompanied by this animation which is expected to improve students' initial reading skills. The subjects in this study were 28 first grade students with data collection through tests and observations. The research used is PTK with two cycles. The results showed that there were differences in students' reading skills before and after using power point, where the students' skills in the first cycle during the initial introduction using power point obtained 71.4% results, then increased to 87.5% in the second cycle with increasing skills and the activeness of students in pre-reading activities using the help of power point teaching media, which showed an increase of 16.1%.

Abstract

The purpose was to investigate the influence of self-confidence, motivation and literacy on the academic achievement of the students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in the pandemic Covid-19. This research was used a quantitative with an online questionnaire. The population in this research was an active students from 12 faculties with 146 respondents of samples, the calculation using the technique of calculation of random. Data analysis technique used is the test validity, test reliability, test of normality and regression test (anova) using the application of statistics SPSS 23. Validity indicates the degree of accuracy between the real data in the field and data objects of the researcher, while reability performed by repeated measurements. Normality test is used to determine the data that has been collected normal distribution. Regression test showed the influence between variables, i.e., free variables and bound in research. The results showed that the influence of selfconfidence, motivation and literacy on the academic achievement of the students of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in the pandemic Covid-19 has a positive influence. Seen on the influence of motivation has a value of influence by 72%, the influence of self-confidence has the value of the effect of 18%, while the influence of literacy has a value of influence pealing small amounting to 14%. Based on the results of research that has been done is bestowed if literacy have a slight impact on academic achievement of students. Therefore, the need for encouragement to the students to improve the culture of literacy in the form of advice and adequate infrastructure in the scope of the university even faculty with the aim to improve the academic achievement of students.
