Abstract

This research concerns the development of interactive media based on Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning medium on Redox Reaction material using the Research and Development (RnD) research method and the 4-D model. The aim of this research is to design and develop this application with a focus on students' interest in Augmented Reality interactive media on redox reaction material. Research stages include define, design, development, dessaminate. Media expert validation results show that this application meets quality standards and is suitable for use with a feasibility percentage of 88.2%. The attractiveness test was carried out on a number of students to evaluate the attractiveness of the application in motivating students in learning and obtained an attractiveness percentage of 93.12% so that this media received the criteria of being very attractive in learning.This research produces interactive media that can be used as an additional learning resource in the context of chemistry learning. This media has succeeded in increasing student engagement and providing a more interactive learning experience through the use of AR technology. The practical implication of this research is that there is potential for application as an innovative learning tool in chemistry education.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to determine whether the “TIKASAN” Loose Parts media can enhance cognitive development and creativity in Group B. The research employed a quantitative approach with experimental methods, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a singular treatment model. The study population comprised children aged 5-6 years in Group B at Putra Bangsa Kindergarten. The experimental group included 15 children in Class B1 and 15 children in Class B2. This research differs from prior studies by incorporating a unique medium, “TIKASAN.”  Research data collection involved observation, documentation, and research instruments. Statistical analysis utilized parametric homogeneity tests. The results indicate that: 1) “TIKASAN” Loose Parts media significantly influences cognitive development in Group B; 2) “TIKASAN” Loose Parts media positively impacts creativity development in Group B; 3) Overall, “TIKASAN” Loose Parts media has an influence on both cognitive development and creativity in Group B.

Abstract

Elementary school students' understanding of healthy food is very important because this will have an impact on the health of students and the school environment. This study aims to measure the extent to which students' perceptions of snacks in the school environment at SD Negeri 2 Tukang Kayu Banyuwangi. This research used survey method. The subjects in this study were 50 fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tukang Kayu Banyuwangi. The research instrument was a questionnaire or questionnaire sheet. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative. The results of student perceptions obtained 72% of students can understand healthy snacks in the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of video media on the skills and creativity of beauty students. The research design used is an experimental approach with a quantitative method. The total population for this study comprised 54 students from two different classes, with 27 students in the control class and 27 in the experimental class. Data analysis involved percentage analysis, prerequisite tests, T-tests, and linear regression to identify differences in the dependent variable (Y) between the control and experimental classes and to determine the impact of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y). Results from the prerequisite tests, T-tests, and linear regression were obtained using the SPSS version 2.1 application. The sequence of tests concluded with the T-test on skills, revealing a significance value (sig) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating differences in skills between the control and experimental classes. The T-test on creativity yielded a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, signifying a difference in creativity between the two classes. The linear regression test resulted in a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating an influence of video media on students' skills and creativity. This overall analysis demonstrates a significant impact of video media on the skills and creativity of beauty students at SMKN 8 Surabaya.

Abstract

Science lessons often involve conceptual material that requires visualization to facilitate students’ understanding. In the fifth grade science learning process, it was found that students had difficulty understanding the subject, lacked enthusiasm for reading,  and the learning media used were monotonous and uninteresting. Consequently, this affected students’ logical thinking abilities. The purpose of this research is to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the Science Comic (KOMSA) media as a tool to facilitate the logical thinking abilities and reading habits of fifth-grade students in elementary school, specifically on the topic of the water cycle. This study is a developmental research using the 4D approach (define, design, develop, disseminate) with a one-group pretest-posttest design technique conducted at Pangudiluhur Ambarawa Elementary School. The discussion results obtained an average percentage of 87%. The trial results indicated that the learning media falls into the category of high effectiveness with a percentage of 77.18%. Therefore, the Science Comic (KOMSA) as a learning media is deemed suitable and effective for facilitating logical thinking abilities and reading habits.

Abstract

The low implementation of counselling services also affects the low interest of students who feel the presence of counselling guidance is important. Guidance and counselling should be an important part of education that aims to help students achieve independence in their lives and can carry out developmental tasks covering personal, career, learning and social aspects. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of developing a counselling management module for exploring the career potential of students in junior high school. The development research method used in this research uses the ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, implementation and Evaluation). The results of research on the development of counseling guidance modules on career exploration of class IX MTSN 1 Pesawaran Lampung students, can be implemented with a recapitulation of the results of product development validation with a result of 89.6% with a very feasible category, the effectiveness of module development with a score of 94.6% with a very feasible category, for the application of the module getting 95.5% high quality, 80.1% very high category, and 33 or 24.2% moderate category on the implementation of the development of counseling guidance management modules for students' career exploration.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' writing abilities in recount texts at the SD School of Life Lebah Putih's fourth grade. This study employs a quasi-experimental design to investigate the effectiveness of the genre-based approach in improving students' writing skills in recount text. Data obtained pre-test and post-test. it can be inferred from the research findings and discussion that the pupils' mean score growth between the pre- and post-test served as evidence. The pre-test mean score for the students was 66.84, which was categorized as fairly good, whereas the post-test mean score was higher at 79.36, which was categorized as excellent. Additionally, the data analysis revealed that the t-test value was greater than the value in the t-test table (11.050>1,711). It implies that the difference was substantial. H1 was approved whereas H0 was disapproved. In other words, the employment of a genre-based approach (GBA) can help students write recount texts more effectively.

Abstract

TikTok is the most popular social media in Indonesia with an average usage duration of more than 2 hours per day with a percentage of 47.4% from Indonesian population. TikTok initially only functioned as an entertainment media by displaying various short videos. However, along with its development, TikTok now opens up great opportunities for business owners to be able to expand their marketing through video advertisements. This study aims to determine the influence of using TikTok on the establishment of student Entrepreneurial Spirit of Social Science Education students. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a survey method. This study involved 162 respondents as a sample using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing in this study using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a sig value. 0.008 <0.05 and obtained a t-count value of 2.685> t-table 1.975, which means that there is a positive influence between the two variables.

Abstract

Teachers are not only one of the key factors in developing students' interest in reading, but also must have the ability to adjust to the various characteristics of students to increase their enthusiasm for reading.  The aim of this study is to explain the role of teachers in stimulating students' interest in reading as well as identifying factors that may hinder their interest in reading. The research design is qualitative collaborated with descriptive approach. Based on the results of research that has been obtained from the results of interviews and observations show that students ' interest in reading is still low. One of the reasons is the lack of motivation of students to read books. Many ways can be done by teachers so that students ' interest in reading increases. The role of teachers in increasing students ' interest in reading is as a creator, inspirer, facilitator, motivator.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in learning outcomes and science process skills of students learned with Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material, as well as the correlation between students' science process skills and student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research. The samples in this study were taken by random sampling of 2 classes, namely XI MIPA 1 as experimental class I and XI MIPA 3 as experimental class II, where each class was taken by 29 students based on the similarity of pretest results. The instruments used are test instruments in the form of multiple-choice questions and essays and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the SPSS Statistic version 24 for Windows computer program using the Independent Sample T-Test and Bivariate Pearson Correlation. For hypothesis I obtained the value of sig. (2-tailed) 0.008   (0.05) so that Ha is accepted, which means that there are differences in student learning outcomes learned with Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material. For hypothesis II obtained sig value. (2-tailed) 0.010   (0.05) so that Ha is accepted, which means that there are differences in students' science process skills learned with the Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material. For hypotheses III and IV obtained sig values. (2-tailed) of 0.002 and 0.001  (0.05) so that Ha is accepted, which means that there is a correlation between students' science process skills and student learning outcomes learned with Project Based Learning and Discovery Learning models on acid-base material.
