Abstract

The low learning outcomes of class III students at SDN Cibunar Balapulang are due to the lack of direct student involvement in the learning process. To overcome this problem, a class action research (CAR) was conducted through the use of science teaching aids. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes by using science teaching aids for class III at SDN Cibunar. The research subjects consisted of 21 students. The source of the research data was obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher and student activities as well as quantitative data in the form of test data on student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of research obtained students who completed individually as many as 8 students out of 21 students with classical completeness of 36% and classical absorption of 63%. While the results of the second cycle research increased with the number of students who completed individually as many as 16 students out of 21 students who took part in learning with a classical completeness percentage of 82% with a classical absorption of 85%. Based on the results of this study, learning using natural science tools can improve student learning outcomes in class III SDN Cibunar.

Abstract

The condition of livestock is affected by the transportation process both before transportation, during transportation and at the end of transportation. The three main things that are affected by transportation are thermal pressure, physiological pressure and physical condition pressure. Bad factors due to logistics usually result in the feeling of discomfort felt by animals during the trip. Cattle logistics can cause stress to cows. This is due to rough handling during transport, poor shipping lane conditions, overcrowding, inadequate air inlets, extremes of temperature and humidity, and wind speeds. Cows that suffer from stress have an impact on reducing the weight of the cow. Classifying drivers for transporting large ruminants (cows) is important in order to be able to select good drivers so that animal welfare during the trip can be considered. The research methodology that will be applied in this study is by using the Knowledge Discovery In Databases (KDD) methodology. Finding patterns from large and complex data, obtaining correct, new, and useful information is the result of the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) analysis process with the stages of data selection, preprocessing, transformation, modeling, and evaluation. The algorithm used is the Support Vector Machine (SVM) using four kernels, namely the linear kernel, the polynomial kernel, the sigmoid kernel, and the RBF kernel. Data division using traintestsplit, divided into two scenarios, namely 70:30 and 80:20. Classification is divided into 8 classes. The results of the research after testing the model by calculating Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-Score. The best result is a linear kernel with an accuracy of 100%, a precision of 100%, a recall of 100%, and an f1-score of 100% in the 80:20 division scenario.

Abstract

This type of research is a pre-experimental study involving one class as an experimental class which aims to determine the Effectiveness of the Application of the Contextual Approach in Learning Mathematics in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 3 Central Sulabesi. This study refers to the criteria of learning effectiveness, namely: learning outcomes which include individual and classical learning mastery, as well as gain or increase in learning outcomes, student activities in participating in learning, student responses to the learning process and, learning implementation. The research design used was The One Group Pretest Peosttest design. The experimental sample was class VIII students at SMP Negeri 3 Central Sulawesi with a total of 30 students. The data collection technique used was a learning achievement test, student activity observation sheets and student response questionnaires, as well as learning implementation sheets. The results showed that: the pretest average score was 46.4 and the posttest average score was 80.43 with a standard deviation of 15.78 for each pretest and 6.45 for posttest. From these results it was found that 27 out of 30 students or 90% had achieved individual mastery and this meant that classical mastery had been achieved. In addition, there was an increase in student learning outcomes after applying learning through the Contextual Approach where the average value of students' normalized gain was 0.63 in the medium category with an interval range of 0.30 ≤ g < 0.7. The average percentage of student activity is 81.78% and is in the range of 76% - 85%, so student activity reaches the active criteria. Students gave positive responses where the average percentage was 97.5%. The average implementation of learning or the teacher's ability to manage learning is 3.81 and is generally in the very good category because it is in the range of 3.5 < KG ≤ 4.0. From the results of the study it can be concluded that, through the application of the Contextual Approach it is effectively applied in learning mathematics in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Central Sulabesi.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the profitability of stock prices. The direct impact of profitability reflected by Return On Assets (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE) on stock prices. The study population is consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. The results of this study show that ROA has a positive impact on stock prices, but it is not significant. ROE has only a small negative impact on the stock price. The results of this study are, in theory, expected to more fully reflect and explain the impact of return on equity and return on equity on stock prices. In addition, the book can be used practically as an input and reference material for consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange and as a portal of information on the impact of return on assets and return on equity on stock prices.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the world of education. The impact that can be felt is that all teaching and learning activities are carried out online or online without meeting face to face, this is because all activities are limited which aims to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. This study aims to find out what impact the Covid-19 pandemic has on the learning development of SMAN 3 Jember students, where later this research will produce information or an overview of the impact of online learning on the development of student learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method, in which the research procedure will use descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from related parties. The data collected in this study include primary and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by direct observation and interviews with related parties, namely students, BK teachers, nad parents.

Abstract

Each student has different abilities in connecting physics concepts with natural phenomena. Students can also experience misconceptions when compiling the physics concepts they are studying, which can lead to differences between their own concepts and those formed by experts. Misconceptions can disrupt and hinder learning in subsequent concepts (Maison et al, 2020). Therefore, an analysis of misconceptions must be carried out at the beginning of learning, so that the teacher can plan the right learning process to overcome them. The research was carried out at the Physics Education Study Program FKIP Pasir Pengaraian University Semester 2 of the 2020/2021 Academic Year with 30 student participants. The test technique used is a four-level multiple choice diagnostic test. The results of a quantitative analysis of the data obtained from the diagnostic test using the four tier diagnostic test in Basic Physics II course found that 35% of students experienced misconceptions, 8% of students did not know the concept, 12% of students answered questions by guessing and 45% of students who understood or know the concept

Abstract

The discipleship process which is the main mission of the church based on the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Matthew 28:19-20 must always be continuous. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the discipleship process experienced obstacles and obstacles to do, this happened due to the habit of discipleship being carried out face-to-face, while during the COVID-19 pandemic this was difficult to do. There are many things that are lost in the discipleship process during a pandemic or experiencing a slowdown due to limited interaction between communities which is often called fellowship is one of the means of church members in terms of discipleship. This situation makes all church pastors and all church members have to accept a new reality that will become a habit in worship including discipleship such as teaching the Bible. Relevant discipleship strategies must be handled with various critical ideas where young people and new converts are not only invited to study God's Word in depth, but are also invited to practice and apply the values ​​obtained in the discussion and study of the Bible in their daily lives. day. The purpose of this writing is so that every pastor can carry out in the congregation discipleship in accordance with the teachings of the Bible. This study uses a qualitative method by using a collection of bibliography of books and journals related to discipleship and service during the pandemic. Discipleship which is God's method for the plan of salvation will never fail because of these obstacles and challenges, unless God stops working in saving mankind.

Abstract

The existence of instruments in measuring student learning activities plays a very important role. This study aims to determine the feasibility of aspects of content, language and usefulness in developing student learning activity instruments based on the partnership model in elementary schools. The type of research used is development research. The development model used is the 4D model with define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The instruments used in data collection included: needs analysis questionnaires, instrument validation sheets by evaluation experts, instrument validation sheets by linguists and instrument validation sheets by users. The results showed that the feasibility of student activity sheet instruments from the content aspect got a score of 86, the language aspect got a score of 82, and the usability aspect got a score of 88. The validation results on the partnership model based learning activity sheet instrument show that from the aspect of content and usefulness the instrument is categorized very feasible, while from the aspect of language it is included in the feasible category. Based on the results of the validation test, it can be concluded that the partnership model-based instrument is feasible to use to measure student learning activities in elementary schools

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and help converts to increase religious spirituality or faith and devotion to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for the Muallaf village community in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District. With the contents of the questions 1) What is the process of Islamic counseling in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District?, 2) What is the function of Islamic counseling guidance in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District?, 3) What are the results of Islamic counseling guidance in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District? The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation, carried out systematically and factually by describing the state or status of phenomena. The results of Islamic counseling guidance in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District are the emergence of religious or spiritual spiritual aspects or faith and devotion to Allah Subhanahu wata'la such as the awareness to carry out prayers which are an obligation, leaving things that are prohibited, and supporting each other in carrying out religious activities. It can be concluded that Islamic counseling guidance in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District is very effective in helping to increase faith for the Muallaf Village Community in Suka Maju Tanah Karo District.

Abstract

Technology is the application of behavioral and natural sciences and other knowledge in a systematic way to solve human problems. Technology that develops rapidly from time to time makes technology itself an important part of advancing a school. In the world of education technology is something that is very much needed. This technology is expected to be able to make the world of education in Indonesia able to compete with other developing countries. But on the other hand, these developments are not necessarily in accordance with the wishes or ideals of the nation. There are various impacts caused by technological developments. This research aims to determine the various impacts of technological developments on children's development. The research method used in this study is to find data by observing the object of observation ,as well as by looking for data sources from various literatures such as journals, books and the internet.
