Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical data regarding the problems faced by teachers in schools. The type of research used in this research is library research or library research, namely research conducted through collecting data or scientific writings that aim at research objects or data collection that is library in nature, or studies that are carried out to solve a problem that basically rests on on a critical and in-depth review of relevant library materials. The results of the study show that the teacher is a figure who is a role model in all matters, both explicit and implied behavior, so that Counseling Guidance really functions as a guide for students to lead them to be the best. In addition to directing the goals of good students, Counseling is also very helpful for educators who are not diligent enough to be diligent, who experience difficulties in being disciplined, who experience boredom due to work routines will find a way full of benefits and enthusiasm, educators who are less democratic will become democratic which in the end with Counseling Guidance makes it directed in all matters to determine the solution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the literacy approach can affect reading skills in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Sidakaton 5 Tegal. This research approach is quantitative with a Quasi Experimental Design (QED) design. The population of this study were all students IV of SD Negeri Sidakaton 5 Tegal totaling 67 students. The distribution is as follows: 20 students for class IV A, 27 students for class IV B and 20 students for class IV C. Sampling was done by sampling technique, namely random sampling. Data collection techniques used were pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test and t test. The results showed that there was an effect of literacy on reading skills in fourth grade students of SD Inpres 12, Sorong Regency. This is shown by the tcount value of 13,220 with dk=n-2 (40-2=38) obtained ttable 2,024. Based on the results of value data analysis, namely tcount > ttable (13,220 > 2,024), the hypothesis is accepted

Abstract

Evaluation of education and training is a series of systems as a whole to see the effectiveness and efficiency of a program and aims to determine program achievements in the short and long term. The aim of this study is to make a systematic review from the previous relevant researches that use the KirkPatrick model evaluation in education and training program activities in government institutions of the Republic of Indonesia between 2016 and 2021. The research method is carried out by studying literature through searching articles and accredited scientific journals. Literature data was examined from various components of the process development on the education and training programs on the KirkPatrick model, namely level 1 reaction, level 2 learning, level 3 behaviour and level 4 impact. The findings of this study show that the evaluation of education and training using the KirkPatrick model carried out in government institutions can enrich the repertoire of practical knowledge with evaluation purposes so that it can eventually be useful as a reference for improving the quality of education and training for further decision and policy making.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve geography learning outcomes through the application of the picture and picture learning model. The data needed in this study is data on teacher and student activities and learning outcomes. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) or in English is called Classroom Action Research using quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques used are observation sheets and learning achievement tests. The use of the picture and picture learning model shows a significant increase in learning outcomes in accordance with KKM standards. The results of the evaluation of the first cycle showed that the average value was 71.30 and in the second cycle there was an increase with an average value of 81.73.

Abstract

Educators and students are the two main components that determine the success of the teaching and learning process in the education unit. The success of the teaching and learning process can be perceived from the increase of students’ ability which is not only discerned from measuring academic values and knowledge but also includes other components, such as skills, talents, critical thinking skills and problem solving. Basically, education aims to make students ready to face the world of globalization which is full of challenges in the 4.0 revolution era and be able to answer challenges appropriately both at the national and international levels. The purpose of this research is to use a systematic method to review the literature on applying project-based learning models to students' problem-solving skills. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature study. Data is collected by reviewing accredited articles and journals from the Google Scholar website, Publish and Perish apps. The study results show that the application of the project-based learning model to students can make the learning process for students effective and efficient. Because involving learning in a real and contextual way, it produces student outputs in the form of the ability to solve problems from various specific and general issues within the student's environment

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has impact to all aspects of human life, including in the world of education. Although the situation is starting back to normal again, the policy of the face-to-face or conventional learning with a learning model same as before the pandemic happened, it can no longer be implemented. It is because the policy of distance learning during the pandemic era made each students at the elementary school level have a difference in model teaching culture and it is created with their respective learning models. Thus, by using the RADEC learning model, it is hoped that it can accommodate the diversity of students interests in learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education. So that teachers can teach (transfer of knowledge) to students can be effective. This research is used a literature study method, which is from book sources and scientific journals related to the topic about the implementation of the RADEC learning model to Islamic Religious Education. There are five syntaxes or steps that need to be considered by the teachers in planning and learning using the RADEC model, namely Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create. With the RADEC model, students can communicate with other students to equalize perceptions, so that critical thinking skills of the students can be arise.

Abstract

One of the popular perograms in Islamic Boarding School institutions is the Diniyyah Madrasah perogram. So that the surrounding community is interested in including their daughter's son to study at the institution. Therefore, it is necessary to apply appropriate discipline and motivation by the Madrasah institution of Pondok Pesantren Al-Ikhlas. So that this madin perogram can be continuous between satri who are mukim and non mukim. This study aims to (1) look at the discipline and learning motivation of mukim and non-mukim students (2) find out how the application of discipline and motivation is carried out by Madrasah Diniyyah (3) find out the supporting and inhibiting factors experienced by the Madin Pondok Pesantren Al institution. -Sincere. This research uses qualitative research with the type of case study research. While the method of data collection through observation, interviews, documentation. To analyze the data, the researcher used data reduction, data presentation and determining conclusions. To check the validity of using data credibility test and source triangulation. The results obtained (1) the discipline and learning motivation of non-mukim students are still lacking compared to mukim students (2) while the application of discipline is with discipline, sanctions, examples. While the application of motivation is by explaining the learning objectives, giving memorization and writing, the teacher has preparation before teaching, controlling, the takror program (3) supporting factors for the application of discipline all teachers and the surrounding community are involved. Meanwhile, there are still teachers and students who violate the rules. For factors supporting the application of motivation, namely the existence of daily control of the students. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of Madrasah Diniyyah institutions in collaborating with guardians of students, especially guardians of students who are non-mukim. Abstract

This study aims to examine student learning activities using the Discovery Learning learning model at SMP Negeri 01 Silo. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and documents. From this study, data were obtained which were described as necessary. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning learning model can increase student learning activities in the classroom to be more active so that students pay more attention to the delivery of material, ask questions about material that has not been understood, and answer questions.

Abstract

These days having private cars for transportation is a necessity for many people and this phenomena is experienced by people in Manado city. Aside from the fact that cars are widely used as means for day-to-day transportations, cars also serve other purposes like to show wealth and status in the society, lifestyle, and more. In spite of all reasons for having a car, this research found that there are only a few of car drivers who have adequate knowledge and skills to identify and take care of any car-related problems. Understanding the spare parts of the car is extremely important to prevent unwanted incidents that may occur as result of trying to fix the car problems without getting any help from the professionals. Another problem is due to the use and availability of appropriate tools when problems happen. Drivers or car owners sometimes do not know how to use the appropriate tools for whatever reasons. Tools are also very expensive and because of this many people prefer to take their cars to the workshops rather than buy tools themselves. Alongside with this, it was also noticed that the manual books are not optimally used by drivers or car owners due to the presentation of information in these books appeared to be very uninteresting and sometimes they are hard to be understood. Car maintenance is another important issue that is often ignored by people that later can cause serious problem to the car. Rapid Application Development (RAD) was opted as the suitable methodological procedure for this project with the help of Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool for object interaction modeling. Activities done in the design stage include designing storyboard, database, object interactions between users and system in the form of UML diagram. In the implementation stage, various features and functions were implemented such as demonstration of fixing car problems, tools selection, workshops and spare parts stores, and more. After that, testing was repeatedly performed to ensure that the application is up and running properly. Also, it was to ascertain that the needs of users and system were met. In conclusion, this application is ready to be used.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of credit risk management from MSMEs to the People's Business Credit (KUR) of Bank BJB to minimize bad loans and find effective applications. This type of survey uses a descriptive survey method. The results showed that Bank BJB actively controls the commissioners and the board for credit risk management, policies, procedures, restrictions, identification, measurement, monitoring, and information systems. This study shows that Bank BJB can maintain staff independence in lending and can be very effective in improving the credit monitoring process.
