Abstract

While the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on education has been widely discussed, there is little empirical evidence for student independence experiences. This study explores and collects information about the experiences students have while learning English online, their perceptions, and how their experiences shape their potential for autonomous learning. The current study uses a Narrative qualitative approach. Data was collected through an online form questionnaire, which was administered to 20 students in grades 11 and 12 of Vocational High School in Karawang. The purpose of this study is to review the use of English learning applications in increasing student autonomy and also students' perspectives in using these applications during online learning. The results showed that students participating in this study appeared to have a fairly good online English learning experience. It was highlighted that students' online learning experiences, in some ways, influenced their self-assessment potential for independent learning. They receive a variety of learning instructions and engage in various types of language learning activities. The majority of students find learning English online quite enjoyable, but many of them show considerable potential to act as independent learners.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui, menganalisis, dan menjelaskan pengaruh social media marketing dan celebrity endorser terhadap minat beli pengguna e-commerce tokopedia pada followers Twitter @tokopedia. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan verifikatif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 384 responden dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus Issac & Michael, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis rentang skala dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat bantu statistik Microsoft Excel dan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara parsial dan simultan social media marketing dan celebrity endorser memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems in the form of low conceptual understanding possessed by students in the material of the human digestive system. One of the causes of students' low understanding of concepts in the human digestive system material is due to misconceptions or misunderstandings of concepts. As for research on the identification of Student Misconceptions in the Material of the Human Digestive System in Elementary Schools, the aim is to describe misconceptions, along with knowing the causes of misconceptions. While the research method used in this study with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection instruments were in the form of essay test questions, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the average misconception experienced by students in the human digestive system material was 55.65% greater than the understanding category of 33.47% and the non-understanding category of 10.86%. Factors that cause students' misconceptions about the material of the human digestive system are caused by preconceptions, incomplete reasoning, wrong intuition, learning methods or methods used, associative thinking and abilities possessed by students, the teacher/teaching factor lacks mastery of learning materials, lack of interest of students in learning and language context. This research is expected to be a reference regarding identifying misconceptions experienced by students in the subject of the human digestive system.

Abstract

One of the best methods for enhancing a student's language development while learning English is through storytelling. In order to find out how students felt about utilizing stories to learn English, the researchers in this study asked them. The study was based on the following research question: “What is the student’s perception towards storytelling in English Language Learning?” The method used in this research is qualitative. A semi-structured interview is used as a data collection tool. Twelve 8th-grade students from the SMP Negeri 1 Majalaya Karawang participated in this study. The two main findings suggest that the benefits of storytelling, and the effectiveness of storytelling. The study is designed to explore student academic performance.

Abstract

This research has the purpose of finding out the organizational culture and work environment on employee performance so that they have good performance. They research type used is quantitative. They data collection technique used in this study. Using the distribution of questionnaires to Kelurahan Karang Pawitan Karawang employees. With the use of interviews and observations. The population used is only 30 all populations are sampled, this research uses multiple regression analysis methods, with the help of SPPS 25 software. From the research results it was found that the F count of 1.542 was greater that the F table value of 3.33 and the significant value off 0.232 which is greater than 0.05. this indicates that the research results acceted H₀. simultaneously Organizational culture and work environment have a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance in Kelurahan Karang Pawitan Karawang.

Abstract

Increasing use of the internet via smartphones is used by marketplace service providers to provide a place for sellers to sell goods and services via the internet by creating a Mobile App. Zalora is an online fashion and beauty store that offers a wide range of clothing, accessories, shoes and beauty products for men and women. As a company engaged in online trading, Zalora continues to try to meet consumer needs for fashion products. This study uses a qualitative analysis approach by conducting in-depth interviews with five users of the Zalora application to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects, such as behavior, perceptions, motivation, action, and so on. The selection of interview participants was carried out using convenience sampling considering the convenience of the researcher. There is a problem found, namely user participation in providing reviews and feedback on the products purchased is still low. Recommendations that can be given from this research are to make photo & video input features in providing product reviews, provide rewards in the form of points for users who have provided reviews, and optimize the Pop up review and Notification features.

Abstract

Hypertension is blood pressure above 140/90 mm Hg. Hypertension patients at Pinang Jaya Health Center, Bandar Lampung City, are included in the 10 largest diseases which occupy the second highest number suffered by patients. The hypertension treatment cycle is quite long so it must be diagnosed early and treated appropriately. The purpose of this study was to determine the rational use of antihypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients at Pinang Jaya Health Center, Bandar Lampung City based on the right indication, the right diagnosis, the right drug, the right patient, the right dose, the right method of administration and the right time interval for administration. The method used in this study is retrospective which is non-experimental (observational). Data were taken from patient medical records during January-December 2022 and the sample obtained was 104 patients, most of whom were female as many as 85 (81.73%) and patients aged 56-65 years as many as 29 (27.88%). The groups of drugs prescribed were amlodipin 98 (94.23%), captopril 2 (1.92%) and the use of combination therapy drugs, namely amlodipin with captopril 4 (3.85%). The rational use of antihypertensive drugs that meet the rational category of the right diagnosis, the right drug, the right indication, the right patient, the right dose, the right method of administration and the right time interval for administration is 100%. The use of antihypertensive drugs for outpatients at Pinang Jaya Health Center, Bandar Lampung City is rational.

Abstract

Pasekbali Village is one of the tourist villages in Klungkung Regency in accordance with Decree No. 2/2017 on January 19, 2017. In developing tourism, Pasekbali Tourism Village requires the role of stakeholders consisting of the government, the private sector, and the community. The stakeholders have their respective roles and interests. These roles and interests will affect the cooperative relationship established in the management of Paksebali Tourism Village, in the form of a policy, similarity of vision and mission, main tasks and functions and other institutional rules. This research aims to find out the role of stakeholders in the development of Paksebali Tourism Village, and become a reference to develop the potential contained in Paksebali Tourism Village into a tourist attraction in order to improve the economy. The results of this research can be seen that Paksebali Tourism Village has natural, cultural, and artificial potential to be developed. And stakeholders play an important role in the development of the tourist village, especially the local government and local communities. Through the results of the analysis, it can also be seen that the strategies that can be carried out by stakeholders are divided into S-O strategies, S-W strategies, S-T strategies, and W-T strategies.

Abstract

Anemia is still an unsolved problem in Indonesia. The Indonesian government has held a supplementation program for Blood Added Tablet (BAT) for female students in junior high school and high school, unfortunately this program has not been maximized. Disobedience is one of the factors causing the program doesn’t run optimally. Providing education using supporting media is one of the efforts to increase the knowledge about BAT among female students. This education is provided online by distributing broadcast through the WhatsApp application to 40 female students in X High School. Participants will work on a questionnaire whose result will be processed using SPSS ver 25. The results of providing education usinginfographics and podcast have been proven to increase female student knowledge about BAT.

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia, terutama di lembaga-lembaga pendidikan Islam seperti madrasah, menghadapi tantangan serius terkait mutu. Meskipun telah dilakukan berbagai upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Islam, rendahnya kualitas masih menjadi isu krusial. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan untuk mendalami permasalahan ini lebih lanjut. Hal ini didasarkan pada pemahaman akan peran penting pendidikan dalam mengembangkan potensi manusia dan karakter bangsa.Peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Madrasah Aliyah Nihayatul Amal Rawamerta memerlukan perencanaan yang cermat. Fokus perencanaan mencakup peningkatan kinerja guru melalui berbagai metode seperti bimbingan, workshop, dan pelatihan. Selain itu, evaluasi diri madrasah, kinerja kepala sekolah, serta pengembangan sarana dan prasarana juga menjadi bagian dari upaya tersebut. Perencanaan juga dilihat dari perspektif makro, sesuai dengan tujuan nasional dalam UU No. 20 tahun 2003 tentang sistem Pendidikan Nasional.Pengorganisasian menjadi langkah selanjutnya dalam manajemen peningkatan kinerja guru. Tim pelaksana transformasional memiliki peran dan tugas yang jelas sesuai dengan jabatan masing-masing. Hal ini penting untuk menghindari tumpang tindih dan memastikan bahwa sumber daya manusia yang terlibat bekerja sesuai dengan tanggung jawab dan kewenangannya. Dalam upaya ini, pengelolaan personil juga dimaksudkan untuk mengoptimalkan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan.
