Abstract

Abstract. Based on data from Bekraf Indonesia . there are three most significant sub-sectors of industry, namely fashion, culinary, and craft. Woodka is a company included in the craft industrycategory in Indonesia. Woodka's production consists of jam with wood-based materials made by local craftsmen. To still be able to overcome the increasingly rapid competition in the craft industry, Woodka must improve the performance of its employees so that they can continue to innovate the company. Before innovating further, the company must know Knowledge Management Readiness in the company. Knowledge management readiness will measure the level of preparedness of companies in Woodka to manage their knowledge and apply it to the company. Based on the questionnaire, the most significant given is in the variable process. In the process of a variable gap between current conditions and expectations is 1.1. That is, with the current perception score of 3.4 and expectations 4.5. The most significant amount compared to other variables. For the perception score entered into the refinement of the category. The second considerable gap after the process is system management within the Woodka company. The way Woodka gives rewards to employees is also an essential factor in improving employee competency. In this study, the gap between perception and expectation is 1.1.Perception score 3.4 From the most significant gap obtained, we know about KM Woodka at this time, namely, process factors and system management factors that must be corrected, so suggestions from Woodka researchers make their experience for KM projects for their employees. A company must establish a way to build good communication compilation among companies in using the SECI Model with joint socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization.Keywords: Knowledge Management Readiness, SECI Model, Craft Industry

Abstract

In an era of globalization and tight competition, efficiency and operational efficiency are crucial to the success of companies, especially in supply chain management. Logistical distribution is a key element that ensures smooth flow of goods to the end consumer. PT.XX is a company in the fields of construction, logistics, and storage tanks, facing various operational challenges. The challenges include the company's transportation constraints, delays in the delivery of raw materials from vendors, as well as inadequate production facilities for heavy goods. To address these challenges, PT.XX needs to implement comprehensive and responsive logistical distribution strategies needed to improve the efficiency and efficiency of distribution, which supports the sustainable growth of the company. The study uses descriptive approaches and analysis of fishbone diagrams to provide a clear picture of the problems faced by PT. XX and measurable practical solutions. The results of this research are expected to improve the transportation system, the quality of the delivery of raw materials, and prepare an adequate production area for large-scale goods, so that operations run smoothly. Abstract

PT Pertamina Terminal LPG Tanjung Sekong is a company engaged in petrochemicals, more specifically engaged in the management of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) terminals in Tanjung Sekong, Merak, Banten. The company is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina International Shipping and has been operating since April 2012. Currently, the increase in gas demand in Indonesia is increasing, it means that the Indonesian people still need gas. In this case, PT Pertamina Tanjung Sekong LPG Terminal has a problem with delays in loading and unloading ships in supplying Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The delay was triggered by several factors, including administrative constraints, bad weather, and too many ship waiting lists. This study used a fishbone diagram method, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 5 Whys to identify the root of the problem. The results of the analysis show that improved ship arrival time predictions, more effective administrative handling, and better weather monitoring can reduce LPG gas supply delays. Recommendations include the development of a time-of-arrival prediction system, increased awareness of the accuracy of administrative data, and cooperation with the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) for better weather monitoring.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in ship repair and maintenance services and port management services. The problems faced by PT XYZ in carrying out its business lines are related to the effective and efficient operational managerial activities of raw material warehousing. Problem solving steps are carried out by testing data processing and analysis using the shared storage method as a solution step related to the problem of warehousing layout and optimization.  Problem solving with the shared storage method is a method of reconditioning the warehousing layout with the principle of First in First out or fast moving where the layout of goods is classified based on the order of the flow of goods movement according to the operational needs of PT XYZ activities. Based on the calculation results, if the company applies the proposed layout, there is an average distance savings of 4 m2. The layout of the placement of raw materials based on the proposed improvements has a more organized condition and facilitates the flow of goods movement as well as inputting the flow of goods in and out which can be more efficient if the goods are organized and inputted administratively, this also affects the quality of goods.

Abstract

Face film company PT. ABC requires an efficient and organized storage system to secure raw materials and finished products. However, warehouses currently experience problems with random storage, which causes human error, overstocking, and potential product damage. This research aims to design layout improvements and adjustments to the FIFO (First in First Out) method in PT A B C's warehouse plan. The research method used is qualitative with observation, interviews and literature study. Observation results show discrepancies in warehouse layout that disrupt operational flow, as well as the need for restructuring and improving the management system. Through design improvements, such as rearranging the layout, more strategic placement of goods, and implementing the FIFO method, it is hoped that it can increase warehouse operational efficiency, reduce the risk of goods damage, and speed up the delivery flow to customers. More comprehensive improvements, including inventory management and staff training, are also needed to ensure the successful implementation of an effective FIFO system. Thus, this research contributes to improving warehouse management and operational efficiency of PT. ABC.

Abstract

The shipyard industry in Indonesia plays a central role in the national economic structure. However, it faces various challenges, one of which is inefficient material management. This research explores the material management system at PT Merpati Marine Service with the aim of enhancing operational efficiency. The research method employed is a field study combining observation techniques, interviews, and literature analysis. Data collected are presented through flowcharts and qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that the material management system at PT Merpati Marine Service is still bound by conventional methods, leading to dependence on manual and computer processes, resulting in delays in material procurement and increased costs. To address this issue, the research proposes the implementation of an Application-based Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system. It is expected that this system will minimize dependence on manual and computer processes, expedite material procurement processes, enhance data accuracy, facilitate interdepartmental communication, and reduce material wastage.The implementation of the application-based MRP system is anticipated to enhance material management efficiency at PT Merpati Marine Service, ultimately positively impacting product quality, cost control, and profitability.

Abstract

Besarnya potensi kekayaan laut dan kawasan pesisir pantai di Indonesia belum menghadirkan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat, beberapa faktor yang dapat menjelaskan fenomena ini antara lain rendahnya aspek ekonomi, sosial dan lingkungan. Kabupaten Serang terdapat 8 kecamatan yang merupakan wilayah pesisir membentang sepanjang 29 Km garis pantai, serta 17 pulau kecil. Kabupaten Serang menetapkan kawasan minapolitan sebagai bagian wilayah yang mempunyai fungsi utama ekonomi. Kawasan minapolitan  adalah  suatu  bagian  wilayah  yang  mempunyai  fungsi  utama ekonomi yang terdiri dari sentra produksi, pengolahan, pemasaran komoditas perikanan,pelayanan jasa, dan/atau kegiatan pendukung lainnya. Lokasi kawasan minapolitan serta sasaran Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) adalah para Kelompok Pengolah dan Pemasar perikanan (Poklahsar) di Kecamatan Pontang, Tirtayasa dan Tanara. Ketersediaan lapangan kerja masih menjadi isu di tengah pengangguran terbuka, mencapai 10,61% di Kabupaten Serang pada tahun 2021. Diversifikasi produk pengolahan perlu dikembangkan, namun sisi lain dari proses produksi para pelaku usaha di kawasan minapolitan menyisakan limbah sisa ikan yang tidak digunakan sebagai bahan baku dapat menyebabkan pencemaran lingkungan. Melalui PkM dengan pendekatan observasi, sosialisasi, unjuk ide implementasi ekonomi biru dari pelaku usaha, pendampingan pelaku usaha ini diharapkan mendukung para pengolah perikanan di kawasan minapolitan memiliki pemahaman ekonomi biru yang menjadi rencana besar pemerintah di sektor kelautan dan perikanan tahun 2024. Mampu menghasilkan produk turunan di pelaku usaha pengolah perikanan yang dapat  menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, mengedepankan praktik berkelanjutan dan kelestarian lingkungan pesisir. Pematerian yang dilakukan pada saat sosialisasi kegiatan pengabdian memiliki dampak yang cukup signifikan terhadap pengetahuan serta pemahaman para Kelompok Pengolah Pemasar (Poklahsar) selaku peserta dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya nilai persentase sebanyak 97%, jumlah ini meningkat 24% dari nilai presentase hasil pre-test sebelumnya 74%.Abstract. The vast potential of marine wealth and coastal areas in Indonesia has yet to bring prosperity to the community. Several factors explain this phenomenon, including low economic, social, and environmental aspects. Serang Regency comprises eight coastal districts stretching along a 29 km coastline and includes 17 small islands. The regency has designated the minapolitan area as a region with a primary economic function. The minapolitan area is a designated zone focused on economic functions, including production centers, processing, marketing of fishery commodities, service provision, and/or other supporting activities. The location of the minapolitan area and the target of the Community Service Program (PkM) are the Fish Processing and Marketing Groups (Poklahsar) in the districts of Pontang, Tirtayasa, and Tanara. The availability of job opportunities remains a critical issue amid an open unemployment rate of 10.61% in Serang Regency as of 2021. There is a need to develop product diversification in processing; however, the production processes of entrepreneurs in the minapolitan area generate fish waste that can lead to environmental pollution. Through PkM with an approach that includes observation, socialization, and showcasing the implementation of the blue economy by entrepreneurs, this assistance aims to support fish processors in the minapolitan area in understanding the blue economy, which is a significant government plan for the marine and fisheries sector in 2024. This initiative is expected to produce derivative products from fish processing entrepreneurs that can create new job opportunities, promote sustainable practices, and ensure the preservation of coastal environments. The training conducted during the socialization of the community service activities has had a significant impact on the knowledge and understanding of the Fish Processing and Marketing Groups (Poklahsar) participating in this program. This is evidenced by an increase in the percentage score of 97%, which represents a 24% improvement from the pre-test score of 74%.

Abstract

The objectives of this to determine the influence of service quality on customer loyalty at the Balaiyasa Lahat Employee Cooperative, to determine the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at the Balaiyasa Lahat Employee Cooperative and to determine the influence of service quality and customer satisfaction together on customer loyalty at Balaiyasa Lahat Employee Cooperative. The sample for this research is the customers of the Balaiyasa Lahat Employee Cooperative, totaling 75 people. This research uses quantitative research, using data sources including: primary data, secondary data, population and sample. The data collection methods used were: observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to a number of respondents. As well as using validity and reliability measuring instruments, prerequisite analysis tests, then using data analysis methods using multiple regression analysis, hypothesis testing in the form of t tests and F tests, as well as correlation coefficients and coefficients of determination. Data analysis in this research used SPSS 23.0. From the results of this research, it can be seen partially with the t test that the service quality variable with t calculated > from t table or 13.873 > 2.000, is rejected, accepted, this shows that there is a significant influence between the service quality variable and the customer loyalty variable. And the customer satisfaction variable with t count > from t table or 11.133 > 2.000, then it is rejected, accepted, this shows that there is a significant influence between the customer satisfaction variable and the customer loyalty variable. Abstract

Banten Province has a coastline of 896.063 km and a sea area of 11,500 km², making it a region with great fisheries potential. However, fishermen in this area, especially in Serang City, face economic challenges due to a lack of knowledge and access to technology for processing their catch. Most of the catch is sold directly at low prices without any processing. To improve the welfare of the fishing community, a community service team organized seminars and training sessions in Pekapuran Village. These activities taught fishermen’s wives how to process mackerel into high-value dim sum and introduced them to long-lasting packaging technology. The training involved 35 fishermen’s wives and used assessment methods including surveys, observation, interviews, and counseling. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge and interest in entrepreneurship. Understanding of women’s empowerment increased by 4.63%, interest in entrepreneurship rose by 8.42%, and knowledge of digital-based businesses increased by 13.52%. The training successfully boosted participants’ motivation and confidence to utilize local potential and digital technology to increase family income. This activity has the potential to drive economic growth for fishermen’s families in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 2 (no poverty) and number 8 (sustainable economic growth). Abstrak. Provinsi Banten memiliki garis pantai sepanjang 896,063 km dan perairan laut seluas 11.500 km², yang menjadikannya wilayah dengan potensi perikanan besar. Namun, nelayan di wilayah ini, khususnya di Kota Serang, menghadapi tantangan ekonomi karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan akses teknologi pengolahan hasil tangkapan. Kebanyakan hasil tangkapan dijual langsung dengan harga rendah tanpa pengolahan. Untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan komunitas nelayan, tim pengabdian masyarakat mengadakan seminar dan pelatihan di Kampung Pekapuran. Kegiatan ini mengajarkan istri-istri nelayan cara mengolah ikan kembung menjadi dimsum bernilai jual tinggi, serta memperkenalkan teknologi pengemasan tahan lama. Pelatihan ini melibatkan 35 istri nelayan dengan metode assessment yang mencakup survei, observasi, wawancara, dan penyuluhan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan minat berwirausaha peserta. Pemahaman tentang pemberdayaan perempuan meningkat sebesar 4,63%, minat berwirausaha naik 8,42%, dan pengetahuan tentang usaha berbasis digital meningkat 13,52%. Pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam memanfaatkan potensi lokal dan teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Kegiatan ini berpotensi mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi keluarga nelayan sesuai dengan tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) nomor 2 tanpa kemiskinan dan nomor 8 mengenai pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work environment on employee performance at the Lahat Regency DPRD Secretariat Office. The sample in this study amounted to 42 respondents who were distributed to employees at the Lahat Regency DPRD Secretariat Office. The data analysis method used is quantitative analysis using Data Quality Test (Validity Test and Reliability Test), Inferential Statistical Test (Multiple Linear Regression, Correlation Coefficient, Coefficient of Determination, t test, and F test). The results of the analysis obtained Leadership has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Lahat Regency DPRD Secretariat Office, this can be seen from the t value (4.214) > t table (2.023). And the Work Environment has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Lahat Regency DPRD Secretariat Office, this can be seen from the t value (3,207) > t-table (2,023). And Leadership and Work Environment have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at the Lahat Regency DPRD Secretariat Office, this can be seen from the calculated F value (25.463) > F table (4.091) and the significance value < the significance level (α) 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05).
