Abstract

The Central Statistics Agency provides data which states that the unemployment rate in Indonesia in 2021 is very high. Every year unemployment remains a problem that must be solved. One solution is to provide job opportunities by increasing the entrepreneurial spirit by establishing small businesses (MSMEs). Padang is a city rich in the potential of MSMEs of wood-based artisans and the potential of wood natural resources. Wood is a material that has many advantages and has many benefits. Therefore, the motivation to improve the entrepreneurial spirit needs to be increased. As well as participants are expected to be able to have the ability to manage technology in the face of increased competitiveness. This socialization activity aims to provide motivation about entrepreneurship and can benefit from the potential that exists and can be applied to MSMEs Hobby Kayu in the city of Padang. Technology capabilities can increase the income of the Hobby Kayu MSME community in padang city. Socialization is given to 20 employees of UMKM Hobby Kayu. The results of socialization show the increasing entrepreneurial spirit in developing MSMEs Hobby Kayu in the city of Padang. To increase competitiveness, it takes training and technological skills to hone the skills they have.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Hobby Wood Padang is one of the wood craftsman communities in the city of Padang. The hobby of Kayu Padang has produced many works and creativity from wood raw materials. The rapid growth and competition in the world of technology and information in Indonesia, especially in the city of Padang, production competition is getting higher and we need to innovate even more. In order to compete with Padang wood hobby competitors, it is necessary to have a solid and consistent visual brand identity to the public so that the company can be more easily recognized by the public's mind. The visual brand identity design is carried out by elevating the company's image that is exclusive, unique, Asian-style, especially Indonesia-Padang with a friendly and warm family culture. The problem here is how to make branding that can be promoted nationally and internationally by utilizing Visual Brand Identity. With attractive branding, it will help every business owner to be more different and stand out from the competitors. This outreach program aims to provide understanding to the members of the Kayu Padang Hobby crafts community about attractive branding for promotion and building the image of the community and is expected to improve the quality of the Kayu Padang Hobi crafts community in making branding more attractive. Besides that, a continuous program is also needed so that the stages of material and socialization provided can be carried out perfectly and in accordance with the expected goals.

Abstract

The digital era that is all internet or the cool term IoT (Internet of things), makes it like it or not, every school must take advantage of these opportunities and challenges. Digital technology is one that has an important role in all aspects that are starting to shift in the world of digitalization. The introduction of digital technology in the school environment is the right step for schools to reach wider targets, so it is possible to get students easily. In addition, digital promotion is also very supportive in improving school branding by utilizing various social media platforms and digital marketing applications. So that the Semen Padang Vocational School will be more widely known by the wider community, both within the region and outside the region though. This student talent development training program by utilizing digital technology aims to invite students to recognize their potential so that they are able to produce works and contribute to the school and its social environment. This training program was given to 30 students consisting of several majors at SMK Semen Padang. The results of the training showed that there was an understanding of students about the importance of gaining new knowledge, especially the use of digital technology in the use of social media to promote activities in schools. With digital promotion technology, it can introduce the quality of education and the quality of school facilities so that junior high school graduates can be interested in continuing their education at SMK Semen Padang.

Abstract

Workforce Development Program (WFD) is a community service program implemented by Politeknik Caltex Riau funded through a cost recovery mechanism by SKK Migas and PT. Chevron Pacific Indonesia (CPI). The background of this program relates to the unemployment rate condition in Riau Province (6.32%). This fact aggravated when Covid-19 hits the world and has an impact on laborers/workers lives, especially in Riau. There are workers who got termination as employment, some of them being laid off directly. WFD aims to provide additional skills and certificates for the workforce in Riau to have higher competitiveness index. The WFD program is implemented through the training and certification activities in the fields of Occupational Safety, Health and Safety Experts (AK3), Oil and Gas Occupational Safety, Health and Safety Operators, and Dump Truck Operators. The stages of the implementation program include socialization, recruitment, opening program, training, and certification (online, offline and blended training), and closing. There are 103 participants who pass as WFD 2021 beneficiaries. There are 101 participants who have passed the certification. The graduation achievement of the 2021 WFD Program is 98.06% (101/103). Based on the results of alumni tracing conducted 1 month after the training and certification phase, there were 25% of participants stated that the competencies they had when participating in WFD were able to increase their income.

Abstract

A toaster is an object that is useful for cooking by utilizing heat energy for cooking, either by using coals, steam or electric voltage. Where some people use a grill with hot coals, they still do the manual method to turn it over and in terms of lifting the food, so this can pose a risk if someone is not careful in doing it. The purpose of making this tool is to make the baking process much easier and more practical with remote control. Where in the manufacture of this tool will use the Arduino Mega 2560 Microcontroller as the processing center. The microcontroller itself is a microprocessor plus which is the center of an electronic system. This tool will be controlled with a keypad that uses the NRF module to receive and send signals to the Arduino Mega 2560 and Arduino Uno, so that the signal can be received by a receiver capable of driving a motor that is useful for turning and lifting the grill tool automatically, and equipped with sensors. Temperature that can detect whether the burning embers are in accordance with what we need, then this system also uses a DC motor which is useful for reversing the food being grilled, and is equipped with a display on the LCD screen of information from the system user and when the time is up then will be notified by the sound of the buzzer. With this tool, it is hoped that the community can be more practical and canmavoid the risk of the grill with the coals

Abstract

Macetnya pertumbuhan ekonomi, Pemutusan Tenaga Kerja (PHK), rasa takut keluar rumah serta menurunnya daya beli masyarakat menengah ke bawah membuat pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) kesulitan mendapatkan pembeli. Tentu harus ada strategi yang tepat di tengah pandemi supaya UMKM tetap bisa menjual produknya dan mendapatkan keuntungan. Salah satu strategi di masa pandemi ialah marketplace yang memungkinkan pelaku UMKM dapat memasarkan produknya tanpa terkendala kebijakan-kebijakan selama pandemi. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 20 orang anggota UMKM Hobi Kayu Padang (HKP). Tujuan pelaksanaan program ini adalah mengedukasi Peserta UMKM HKP  agar lebih mengikuti kemajuan teknologi informasi khususnya Sosial Marketplacdan memberikan strategi kepada peserta UMKM HKP  dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam pengenalan/sosialisasi penggunaan Marketplace. Target dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Peserta UMKM HKP, akan mengangkat kegiatan berbasis pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penggunaan Marketplace dalam pengembangan UMKM HKP. Hasil kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan dalam bentuk Sosialisasi Penggunaan Media Sosial Dan Marketplace Untuk Meningkatkan Penjualan Produk Bagi Umkm Komunitas HKP yaitu: Mampu Mengedukasi Peserta yaitu bapak dan Ibu Komunitas HKP dalam Penggunaan Media Sosial Dan Marketplace Untuk Meningkatkan Penjualan Produk, Membantu Komunitas HKP memahami kembali cara mengunakan media sosial dan marketplace dan masalah dapat diselesaikan khususnya dalam penjualan produk pada saat pandemi

Abstract

The need for digital technology has increased along with the development of new technological discoveries. These needs cause changes in the pattern of human life in socializing, doing activities, as well as in understanding and learning things. One technology that continues to experience development is mobile technology, where this technology is owned by the majority of the earth's population. The application of mobile technology in the learning process is one of the choices at this time, where practicality and mobile are one of the strong reasons for using this technology. In this service, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technology will be introduced to support the learning process. AR and VR technologies introduced include digital content that enters the realm of education, where using AR content can help accelerate and improve the student learning process.

Abstract

ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is a medical disorder that can be recognized by specific behavioral characteristics, namely inattention to surroundings, easily distracted condition, and an attitude of following one's own will. Children diagnosed with ADHD require special treatment so that their specificity can be fulfilled. Teacher knowledge about ADHD is an important thing in order to detect and provide the right educational model for students. The implementation of this training in community service uses modules and early detection tools for ADHD children or students. The purpose of this activity is so that teachers can identify the condition of their students whether any of these students lead to the characteristics of ADHD. Based on the results of the post-test and case discussions, the teachers at the beginning of the activity stated that they were still confused about the condition of their students so that they understood the situation of their students more clearly. The teachers also stated that they more clearly see the condition of the students they work with in class, especially for students who have a tendency to ADHD.   ADHD (Atention Deficit Hiperactivity Disorder) adalah kelainan medis yang dapat dikenali dengan ciri-ciri perilaku khusus sikap kurang memperhatikan sekeliling, kondisi mudah terganggu, dan sikap mengikuti kemauannya sendiri. Anak yang terdeteksi  ADHD membutuhkan penanganan yang khusus agar kekhususannya dapat terpenuhi. Pengetahuan guru tentang ADHD menjadi sebuah hal yang penting dalam rangka mendeteksi dan memberikan model pendidikan yang tepat bagi siswa. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini  ini menggunakan modul dan alat deteksi dini untuk anak/ siswa ADHD. Tujuan kegiatan ini  adalah agar para guru dapat mengenali kondisi siswa mereka apakah ada dari para siswa tersebut yang mengarah kepada ciri-ciri ADHD. Berdasarkan hasil pre test post test dan diskusi kasus, para guru yang diawal kegiatan menyatakan masih bingung mengenai kondisi siswa mereka menjadi lebih memahami keadaan siswa mereka secara lebih jelas. Para guru juga menyatakan mereka lebih jelas melihat kondisi siswa yang mereka tangani di kelas terutama untuk siswa yang memiliki kecenderungan ADHD.

Abstract

Motivasi dan inspirasi belajar saat ini mengalami hambatan karena merebaknya wabah Covid-19. Coronavirus adalah pandemi di seluruh dunia yang penyebarannya sangat menegangkan. Oleh karena itu, otoritas publik berupaya untuk membendung penyebaran infeksi Covid-19 dengan memberikan strategi dengan tujuan agar seluruh warga sekitar melakukan social distancing atau menjaga jarak. Hal ini membuat seluruh kerangka pembelajaran di sekolah secara tatap muka dipindahkan ke strategi pembelajaran internet atau dalam jejaring (daring). Adanya gangguan dalam proses belajar memberikan pengaruh yang kecil bagi siswa sehingga mempengaruhi inspirasi belajarnya. Penyuluhan ini akan bertemakan memotivasi siswa SMA di masa pandemi Covid-19. Materi Emotional and Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) akan dijadikan sebagai bahan utama dalam penyuluhan ini. Materi ESQ sudah terbukti dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan emosional dan spiritual seseorang dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memberikan semangat baru dalam hidup ini. Dengan ini diharapkan, siswa SMA mempunyai semangat dan tujuan hidup yang lebih mantap dalam menghadapi pembelajaran dan kehidupan di saat pandemi Covid-19 ini.

Abstract

Gangguan bicara bisa dialami oleh siapa saja dan disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, di antaranya gangguan berdasarkan faktor medis dan lingkungan. Faktor medis yang mempengaruhi proses berbicara adalah kelainan fungsi otak dan saraf seperti penderita stroke, sementara faktor lingkungan bisa menyebabkan kelainan berbicara karena pembiasaan, seperti tidak dibiasakan berbicara dan mendengar, kondisi terisolasi, atau tersisihkan dari lingkungan manusia. Dalam penelitian ini akan membahas tentang gangguan berbicara yang disebabkan oleh perkembangan alat ucap yang belum sempurna pada anak usia PAUD, perkembangan alat ucap ini masuk dalam faktor medis, yang mana organ ucap belum berkembang sempurna di usia balita, namun seiring dengan perkembangan usia, alat ucap akan berkembang dengan sempurna dan matang pada waktunya. Menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini akan menjelaskan tentang bagaimana siswa PAUD An-Nuur Kalri, Karawang memperoleh pembelajaran bahasa di sekolah dan di rumah, serta penjelasan mengenai beberapa anak yang cadel, yang mana termasuk dalam gangguan berbicara sebagaimana topik penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan dan disimpulkan dengan hasil penelitian serta saran terapi dan pembiasaan bagi anak-anak sejak dini agar proses pemerolehan bahasa yang dialaminya lebih sempurna di usia muda.
