Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dalam pengembangan e-modul matematika berbasis STEAM pada siswa SMP guna menambah sumber bahan ajar yang terbatas dan meningkatkan pemahaman serta motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran (mix method). Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui angket dan dokumen hasil belajar siswa, kemudian data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui wawancara guru matematika dan observasi proses pembelajaran. Data kuantitatif dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui kebutuhan dan hasil belajar siswa, sementara data kualitatif digunakan untuk memperjelas dan memperdalam temuan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa sebagian besar siswa merasa kesulitan dalam proses pembelajaran matematika, dengan 79,1% siswa memperoleh hasil belajar dalam kategori sedang (nilai antara 60-74). Selain itu, hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa 63,33% siswa menyatakan mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika, 100% siswa menyatakan guru dominan menggunakan metode ceramah. Sebanyak 90% siswa setuju dengan pengembangan e-modul berbasis STEAM, dan 83,33% tertarik untuk belajar menggunakan media tersebut. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pengembangan e-modul matematika yang berbasis STEAM pada siswa kelas VII. Pengembangan e-modul ini diharapkan mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam mendorong kemandirian belajar siswa, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, serta mengembangkan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research subjects were 36 students of Class X.2 at SMAN 5 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research was conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) over two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome tests at each stage: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle 2, and analyzed quantitatively. The results showed an increase in the average student learning outcomes from 5,5% in the pre-cycle, to 38,9% in cycle I, and 80,5% in cycle 2. This improvement indicates that the implementation of the PBL model is effective in enhancing students' mathematics learning outcomes. These findings highlight the importance of applying PBL to create student-centered learning that can meaningful and contextual in the processes.

Abstract

Bullying is a social problem that has a negative impact on students' psychological development and learning environment. This study aims to develop a binary logistic regression model to explain bullying behavior and the factors that significantly influence bullying behavior among students at SMA Negeri 1 Tibawa. The method used was a quantitative survey through a questionnaire with 54 statements, including the variable bullying behavior (Y) and five independent variables: individual factors (X1), family factors (X2), peer factors (X3), school factors (X4), and social media factors (X5). A sample size of 300 students was selected using simple random sampling technique from a population of 1,197 students. The analysis was conducted using binary logistic regression with the help of RStudio software. Partial test results show that only peer factors (X3) have a significant effect on bullying behavior. The odds ratio value shows that students with moderate and high levels of peer influence are 7.47 and 38.34 times more likely to engage in bullying behavior compared to low levels. The Hosmer-Lemeshow test showed the model fit the data. In conclusion, the binary logistic regression model can explain bullying behavior, with peer factors as the dominant factor that needs to be the focus of prevention in the school environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan pendekatan yang lebih efisien dalam analisis dan pengelompokan siswa berdasarkan keterkaitan akademik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan graf berarah dalam pemodelan hubungan antar siswa menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python, sehingga dapat meningkatkan efisiensi analisis keterkaitan pra-literasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur dan analisis berbasis komputasi dengan pustaka NetworkX untuk membangun graf serta Matplotlib untuk visualisasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa graf berarah yang dibangun dengan NetworkX dapat secara efektif merepresentasikan hubungan antar siswa dalam kelompok belajar. Visualisasi menggunakan Matplotlib memungkinkan identifikasi pola keterkaitan secara sistematis dan lebih intuitif dibandingkan pendekatan berbasis tabel. Selain itu, analisis graf mengungkap siswa yang memiliki peran sentral dalam kelompok, yang dapat menjadi dasar untuk pengelompokan yang lebih optimal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan graf dalam sistem pendidikan memberikan representasi visual yang lebih jelas dan informatif terhadap hubungan antar siswa. Pendekatan ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengelola pendidikan dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pengelompokan siswa dan perancangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif

Abstract

Lagrange polynomial interpolation is used to estimate the value of a function based on discrete data points. This research aims to explore and compare the effectiveness of the lagrange polynomial interpolation method using two technological approaches, namely the MATLAB software and the Android-based application Numerical Methods: Calculator. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a comparative method to test the efficiency, accuracy of results, ease of use, and visualization of both applications. The results show that MATLAB excels in computational capabilities and visualization, while the Numerical Method: Calculator application is more accessible and suitable for learning. This research contributes to the selection of learning aids and the solution of lagrange polynomial interpolation problems tailored to user needs and the complexity of the issues.

Abstract

The linear operator T: X --> X is called an hypercyclic operator if there exist such that the orbit of under the operator T is dense in X. This study aims to construct an explicit hypercyclic operator on the sequence space \(\ell^p\), by modifying the backward shift operator using a non-constant weight sequence. This approach differs from Rolewicz's classical method, which used constant weights. The method applied is constructive and formal, relying on deductive reasoning in mathematical proofs. Two operators—weighted left and right shifts—are introduced and their properties are analyzed, including their composition and iterative behavior. The main result is the construction of a specific operator \(S_\bold{a}\) weighted by \(\bold{a}=(a_n)\) that is proven to be hypercyclic. The proof involves demonstrating the existence of a vector whose orbit under \(S_\bold{a}\) is dense in \(\ell^p\).

Abstract

This study aims to explore the scientific landscape of mathematical applications in coffee-related research using a bibliometric approach. By analyzing 99 documents retrieved from the Scopus database, this study identifies global research trends, productive authors and institutions, country-level contributions, and dominant subject areas. The analysis includes publication patterns, keyword co-occurrence networks, and author collaboration clusters visualized using VOSviewer. The findings show a significant rise in scientific interest since 2016, with the United States and Indonesia leading in publication volume. Although the research spans multiple disciplines such as mathematics, engineering, agriculture, and computer science, collaboration among researchers remains limited, with many author clusters operating independently. The keyword clustering reveals six major themes ranging from bioinformatics and plant disease modeling to chemical composition and teaching philosophy. These findings underscore the growing role of mathematical methods in coffee research and highlight the need for stronger interdisciplinary and international collaboration to support innovation in coffee science and production.

Abstract

Perkembangan kebutuhan pembelajaran abad ke-21 semakin menuntut inovasi dalam sistem pendidikan, khususnya pada pengembangan media yang mampu mendorong interaksi dan kolaborasi peserta didik. Namun, kenyataannya pembelajaran matematika di sekolah masih didominasi oleh pendekatan konvensional yang berpusat pada guru dan minim interaksi antar siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Smart Apps Creator 3 (SAC 3) untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi peserta didik pada materi bangun ruang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Islam Athirah Bukit Baruga. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengukur kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis SAC 3 memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Dengan demikian, media ini dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mendukung pembelajaran matematika yang kolaboratif dan menyenangkan, khususnya pada materi bangun ruang

Abstract

The education sector needs to adapt to the changing times, one of which is through learning technology. There are many types of learning technology, two of which are Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). The purpose of this study is to describe the application of virtual and augmented reality in mathematics learning as viewed from the level of education and its influence. A Systematic Literature Review was used in this research method to examine the application of AR and VR in mathematics learning. The results show that AR and VR are used at almost all levels of education, including elementary school, junior high school (SMP), senior high school (SMA), and university. However, they are more commonly used at the junior high school and senior high school levels. The effects of AR and VR include improving learning outcomes, interest, experience, and motivation, critical thinking skills, mathematical spatial skills, visual thinking skills, problem-solving skills, creative thinking skills, and geometric skills.

Abstract

Introducing the concept of numbers to early childhood is done by introducing them through objects around the child. A real approach can encourage children to understand the material more clearly, this is because teachers utilize various real examples that exist around students. As an effort to help achieve these goals, teachers can use e-worksheet based RME to instill the concept of numbers in students. This study was conducted in RA Masyita Bima. Data collection methods used observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used data collection, data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of the study showed that instilling the concept of numbers in early childhood by using e-worksheet based Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) can increase interest in learning mathematics in early childhood.
