Abstract

Alue Beurawe is a village located in Langsa City, which is one of the cities affected by the Covid-19 virus. Almost all sub-districts in Langsa City have felt the negative impact of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, so various ways are needed to prevent transmission of the virus. People who are prone to exposure to the virus are people who have a history of degenerative diseases, such as cancer, cholesterol, heart disease, asthma, and so on. All degenerative diseases are caused by the immune system being unable to fight the development of viruses in the human body. Therefore it is necessary to provide vitamin intake into the body that is able to fortify itself from the spread of harmful viruses, one of which is an antioxidant. Temurui is a local plant which is known to have high antioxidant activity. This plant can be found scattered throughout Aceh Province. The majority of Acehnese people use temurui plants as a spice for cooking, included the people in Alue Beurawe Village. Based on the previous research that has been done by the team, this temurui leaves have very good potential as an antioxidant which can reduce the risk of degenerative diseases and increase immunity. The manufacture of herbal tea made from temurui leaves is an effort to take advantage of the potential of the local natural resources of Alue Beurawe village in overcoming the risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus which is currently developing. Through PKM activities, it is hoped that it can increase the community's skills in processing temurui leaves into herbal medicine in the form of tea bags for private consumption as an alternative to reducing the transmission of the Covid-19 virus and can also be marketed to improve the community's economy. This PKM activity is carried out in the form of direct training with the Alue Beurawe community, especially member of PKK and unproductive housewives. After that, in this PKM activity, we hope that the community can produce herbal tea in a sustainable manner as a regional superior product`.

The lack of health facilities at the Early Childhood Education/ PAUD level during the COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on the continuity of the teaching and learning process. This program is implemented for 4 months. The target of this program is 4 PAUDs located in Langsa Kota sub-district, namely PAUD Nadya Rabila, PAUD Az-Zikra, PAUD Syakirah and PAUD My Baby School. The method used in this activity was participatory active discussion and participants through adult learning. Activities carried out include: coordination of activities, provision of tools and materials, assembling a portable sink starting from the stage of determining the design, size and capacity, testing portable sinks, handing over portable sinks to partners and monitoring and evaluating activities with target partners. The results of the activity show that the portable sinks distributed to partners have been used as well as possible in accordance with health protocols and were able to build healthy and clean living habits for PAUD students through the use of portable hand washing sinks.

Abstract

Wood twig waste comes from felling trees or from fallen trees. The only part of the tree that can be used is the trunk of wood, while the wood branches that have a large amount cannot be used. The waste that nags at the wood will be burned so that it will pollute the air for the surrounding environment. Waste wood twigs can be used into handicraft products that have a higher economic value by using the lamination technique. Lamination technique is to join small pieces of wood to form an object or plane with a strong adhesive. With this technique, tree branches that have been used as waste can be turned into handicraft products such as serving mats, photo frames, tissue holders and other containers. Utilization of wood waste into handicraft products can open business opportunities for the community. The covid 19 virus pandemic has caused many people to lose their jobs and wood waste management can be one of the community's creative efforts. The resulting handicraft products can be marketed online so that people can still work at home and have their own businesses.
