FOCUS AND SCOPE Enggang adalah jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Enggang dipilih sebagai nama jurnal ini karena kehidupan masyarakat Kalimantan Tengah tidak jauh dari alam, termasuk kedekatannya pada burung yang bernama enggang. Burung enggang merupakan simbol kebesaran dan kemuliaan suku Dayak di Kalimantan Tengah. Burung enggang juga melambangkan perdamaian dan persatuan, sayapnya yang tebal melambangkan pemimpin yang selalu melindungi rakyatnya. Ekor panjangnya dianggap sebagai tanda kemakmuran rakyat suku Dayak. Kaitannya dengan jurnal ini, tidak lain adalah mengambil makna filosofis kebesaran burung enggang agar jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya ini, nantinya menjadi besar yang akan dikenal secara lokal, nasional, dan internasional. Jurnal Enggang sebagai jurnal pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya merupakan salah satu wadah untuk mengumpulkan dan melestarikan kekayaan kita yang tidak ternilai harganya. Tentunya kekayaan yang berhubungan dengan pendidikan bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Jurnal ini hadir untuk siapa saja yang mencintai dan ingin berkarya di bidang pendidikan, bahasa, sastra, seni, dan budaya. Selain itu, kami sebagai pengurus jurnal ini bersedia memberikan bimbingan dan pelatihan untuk siapa saja yang ingin maju dan berkompeten dalam hal menulis karya fiksi maupun nonfiksi. The term implementation is usually associated with an activity, which is carried out to achieve certain goals. Discussion is a group activity of a group of students, talking to each other, exchanging information and opinions about a topic or problem, where each child wants to find answers / solutions to problems from all existing aspects and possibilities. Learning motivation is "the overall driving force within the student that provides direction to learning activities, so that the goals desired by the learning subject can be achieved. Motivation to learn in a person will create passion and enthusiasm for learning, and make a person interested in learning, so that they will want to learn continuously. The history of Islamic culture is a science that studies the work, tastes and creations of Muslim people in the past in social, cultural, economic, political and other forms of life. MAN 5 Kediri is the youngest MAN in Kediri Regency, East Java. Officially founded in 2009 under the name MAN Kandat. The aim of this research is to find out how the discussion method is implemented in SKI subjects at MAN 5 Kediri where SKI lessons are less popular with students because they are seen as complementary subjects. The focus of this research is class X MAN 5 Kediri. This research is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Observation, interview and documentation collection techniques. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the research show that the discussion method using the syndicate group method in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) class . However, the weakness is that it is less motivating for students in social studies classes 2, 3, 4 because from the initial screening, these children are also lacking in interest, academics and IQ. The majority of them come from families with poor economic conditions, children from broken homes and children who lack parental attention

This study aims to determine the policies of the Government of Purwakarta Regency regarding the implementation of character education policies. The research approach used is descriptive analysis. With the data collection method in the form of interviews with curriculum officers at one of the public elementary schools in Purwakarta district. From the results of observations, the techniques used were literature study and interviews. The instruments used were an analysis of the literature and interviews as a guide. The results of this study found that the organization of the implementation of character education policies in Purwakarta Regency was in accordance with Perbub no. 69 of 2015 was developed through several policies namely 5 (Five) Pillars of Character Education. The five flowers of character education include Seven Poe Atikan Purwakarta Istimewa, Religious Education and Book Deepening, Anti-Corruption Education Insertion, Child Friendly Schools, and Tatanen in Bale Atikan. With the enactment of the Perbup, character building must begin in the classroom and in each learning activity by adopting a useful and innovative learning model, namely the Pancaniti learning model which is rooted in Sundanese philosophy.

Digital media is becoming a trend in the world of education. This digital media offer a variety of interesting and varied content. Students can learn through educational games, animated videos, multimedia presentations, interactive applications, and more. This study aims to collect and analyze articles related to the use of digital media as student interactive media. The design used is literature review, articles are collected using search engines such as Google Scholar. The criteria for the articles used are those published in 2019-2023. The results of the study show that digital media, when used optimally, has great potential in increasing students' learning motivation and the quality of education in Indonesia. Motivation comes from individual awareness of the importance of learning and preparing for the future for self-development and improvement. In addition, external factors such as the influence of other people or the surrounding environment can also affect the psychology of the students concerned.

In this day and age, educational institutions must compete in order to meet or exceed the wants and needs of the community as consumers or customers who use their educational services. Of course this is related to the marketing carried out by these institutions and schools. This is where the school needs to pay attention to managing its marketing strategy, because it determines the number of students enrolled in the school. In the world of education, how to manage effective communication and trusting relationships, covering aspects ranging from the programs offered to the stages of the tutoring process related to infrastructure and human resources. The results of educators and alumni who can influence students as customers and the wider community. Therefore, to compete with other educational institutions, you need to manage your educational marketing strategy as well as possible. The concept of marketing strategy includes: (1) market segmentation/classification, (2) market positioning, (3) market entry strategy, (4) marketing mix strategy, (5) timing strategy or the right time. The marketing strategy of an educational institution certainly requires careful planning, including a SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats), to minimize errors and obstacles in the marketing process.

This research is aimed at increasing the competence of students at SMP Negeri 4 Medan in North Sumatra. There is an increase in the competence of trained personnel carried out by conducting Classroom Action Research (CAR). In Classroom Action Research Training (PTK) it is carried out by means of the cycle method which is carried out with various stages such as helping with problems, planning, action, observation, and reflection. From the research, it was found that there were problems where students were often confused and had difficulties at the stage of preparing and forming PTK when doing it in class. Due to their weak ability at the stage of establishing PTK due to limitations regarding understanding of CAR in practice and materially. Data collection techniques implemented in this study were used by means of observation, interviews and evaluation. In this study, it was found that the students played an active role in activities and they had seriousness, willingness, and high motivation in PTK. So that in PTK this increases the competence of teachers and is more courageous in creating a work on PTK activities. [10:42:52 PM]

Education must function to realize and develop the various potentials that exist in humans in the context of diversity, morality, individuality/personality, sociality and culture as a whole and integrated. In short, education serves to humanize humans. The current educational paradigm requires teachers to improve the quality of learning, so the selection of learning models is really necessary so that learning in class is active and fun. One of the models used is cooperative make a match type. The advantage of this technique is that students find partners while learning about a concept or topic. , in a pleasant atmosphere and leading to active student learning in order to facilitate the learning that students do in the Mathematics subject, the material for Length Measurement has problems and obstacles so that the acquisition of student learning outcomes is very low. The purpose of this learning improvement research was to find out the increase in student learning outcomes by using the Make a Match type cooperative learning model in the Length Measurement material in class II (Two) students at Pasekon State Elementary School, Surade District, Sukabumi Regency with a total of 19 students, consisting of 14 men and 5 women.

This study aims to determine the increase in students' responsible attitude by using the Magic Box learning media based on Wayang Sukuraga at SDN 1 Kebon Pedes. The research method used is Classroom Action Research which consists of two cycles. Each cycle begins with the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The instruments used were teacher and student observation sheets as well as non-test assessments. The results of the study show that the application of the Magic Box learning media based on wayang sukuraga can increase the attitude of responsibility of students at SDN 1 Kebon Pedes. This can be seen from the results of data processing obtained in cycle 1, as many as 10 students out of 26 total students have an increased attitude of responsibility while the other 16 students do not yet have an attitude of responsibility, so that the percentage of attitudes of responsibility reaches 40% with an average value 67.76. In cycle 2 the results of processing the data obtained were 22 students out of 26 the total number of students had an increased attitude of responsibility with a percentage of 85% and the average value was 76.34

This research aims to describe the types of social criticism using the approach of literary sociology contained in the novel "Anak Semua Bangsa" by Pramoedya Ananta Toer as well as using it as an alternative teaching material for class XI students. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. This data source uses the novel book "Anak Semua Bangsa" by Pramoedya Ananta Toer as well as sources from books or other reading materials as reference material in this research. The data that has been found in this research is a total of 17 data, namely: 1) political social criticism amounting to 2 data, 2) social economic criticism amounting to 3 data, 3) social criticism of education amounting to 2 data, 4) social criticism of culture in the novel contains only quotations of sentences related to cultural values and does not contain quotations of sentences of social criticism of culture, 5) moral social criticism amounting to 5 data, 6) social criticism of family amounting to 5 data, 7) social criticism of religion in the novel only contains quotations of sentences related to religious values only and does not contain quotations of social criticism of religion, 8) social criticism of gender in the novel only contains quotations of sentences related to gender values and does not contain quotations of sentences of social criticism of gender, and 9) social criticism of technology in the novel only contains quotations of sentences related to values only technology and does not contain quotations of social criticism of technology. Furthermore, the results of the analysis were adapted to the 2013 curriculum based on the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies listed in Permendikbud No. 37 of. In addition, a teaching material was created to support the learning of XI class students.
