Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the training program at PT. Buana Centra Swakarsa (BCS) using the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model, which consists of four levels: reaction, learning, behavior, and outcome. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, involving all training participants as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, pre- and post-tests, interviews, observations, and secondary data related to costs and company performance. The results of the study indicate that (1) at Level 1, participants were satisfied with the training; (2) at Level 2, there was a significant increase in post-test results compared to the pre-test; (3) at Level 3, the training resulted in positive behavioral changes in the workplace; and (4) at Level 4, the training made a positive and significant contribution to improving work results and company efficiency. However, there are indications that learning strategies need to be adjusted in certain months to ensure a more even distribution of the training's impact. This study concludes that training at PT. BCS is categorized as effective, but improvements in distribution, cost efficiency, and follow-up programs are needed for more optimal results

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work experience, education, and training on employee career development, with work performance as an intervening variable, at the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Sulawesi Province. The study used a quantitative approach with survey methods and path analysis to examine the relationships between variables. The results showed that work experience directly had no significant effect on career development, but through work performance, work experience had a positive and significant influence. Education and training had a positive and significant effect on both work performance and career development, demonstrating the importance of improving employee competency. Work performance proved to be a key factor in driving career development, acting as a bridge between experience or education and career advancement. This study confirms that career development at BPS of South Sulawesi Province is more influenced by actual work results than administrative factors such as seniority, so that self-development strategies through education, training, and performance achievement are key to employee career success.

Abstract

This research aims to empirically test and analyze the effectiveness of the Cash Management System (CMS) and the Government Credit Card (KKP) on fraud indications, while also assessing the role of internal control systems (ICS) as a mediating variable. The research was conducted across work units of the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in South Sulawesi Province using a quantitative explanatory approach. Data were collected through questionnaires administered to 96 financial management officials, including Budget User Authorities, Commitment Making Officials, Payment Order Signatories, and Expenditure Treasurers. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that the effectiveness of CMS and KKP significantly influences internal control systems. However, internal control systems do not have a significant effect on fraud indications and do not serve as a mediating variable. This means that the influence of CMS and KKP on fraud is direct, and not mediated through internal control systems. These findings suggest that the implementation of non-cash transactions such as CMS and KKP plays a direct role in reducing fraud risks, even though the current internal control systems are not yet sufficiently effective as an intervention mechanism. Therefore, strengthening and restructuring internal controls is necessary to enhance their role in fraud prevention. This study provides practical implications for government institutions in promoting financial transparency through digital payment systems and in reinforcing control over the use of public funds.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of professional ethics and work discipline on teacher performance, as well as to examine the mediating role of teacher professionalism among public elementary school teachers in Banjar District, Pandeglang Regency. The primary focus of the study is to identify the direct and indirect effects of these variables on improving teacher performance. The research method employed a quantitative approach using regression analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The study sample included 100 respondents drawn from a population of 163 public elementary school teachers, providing an empirical overview of the relationships between the variables. The results indicate that professional ethics has a positive and significant effect on teacher professionalism and on teacher performance. Similarly, work discipline has been shown to have a significant positive effect on both teacher professionalism and teacher performance. Furthermore, teacher professionalism itself has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. The mediation test also demonstrated that professional ethics and work discipline significantly influence teacher performance through teacher professionalism. These findings emphasize the importance of implementing professional ethics and work discipline as key factors driving teacher professionalism. Improving professionalism can ultimately strengthen teacher performance, so policies and evaluations are needed that support efforts to improve the quality of education.
