Abstract

The high employee turnover in the manufacturing sector, especially at PT IHI Power Service Indonesia (15% per year), is a strategic challenge for organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This study aims to analyze the effect of Reward and Recognition on Intention to Stay, by considering the mediating role of Employee Engagement and Job Satisfaction. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method on 182 permanent employees. The research instrument was a Likert-scale closed questionnaire, which was analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results showed that Reward and Recognition positively and significantly affect Intention to Stay directly and indirectly through Employee Engagement and Job Satisfaction. The chain mediation model shows that reward and recognition increase employee engagement, increase job satisfaction, and strengthen the intention to stay. The practical implication is that companies must implement a fair and relevant reward system and integrate it with strategies to increase engagement and job satisfaction and reduce employee turnover intention. Theoretically, this study enriches the HRM literature through a dual mediation model based on Social Exchange Theory in the context of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of enjoyment, price value, and ubiquity on the subscription intention of Kompas.id users, and see the moderating role of subscription types (basic and premium) in the relationship. A quantitative approach was used with a survey method, involving 400 Kompas.id user respondents in the Jabodetabek area. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4. The results showed that enjoyment and price value had a significant effect on subscription intention. Ubiquity has a significant effect on subscription intention. Moderation tests show that subscription types only moderates the relationship between ubiquity and subscribe intention, while it does not moderate the relationship between enjoyment and price value on subscribe intention. The findings provide theoretical and practical implications for digital marketing strategies in increasing subscription conversion through enjoyable user experience, value for money, and ease of access.

Abstract

Regional Business Entities (BUMD) are business entities whose capital is wholly or largely owned by the regional government. They consist of regional public companies and regional limited liability companies. Bogor Regency has several regional business entities (BUMD) operating in various sectors, including strategic sectors requiring government regulation and commercial sectors not explicitly regulated. Microfinance Institutions (LKM) are financial institutions that provide business development and community empowerment services through loans or financing micro-scale businesses to members and the community. PT Microfinance Institution (PT LKM) Bogor is a company originating from the Bogor District Credit Union (PD. PK), by applicable regulations, and its legal form has become PT LKM Bogor. PT LKM Bogor is at Jalan KSR Dadi Kusmayadi No. 6B Ruko Citra Nusa, Cibinong, Bogor Regency. This research aims to know the development of PT LKM's performance and its problems. The method for evaluating the performance of BUMD PT LKM Bogor was carried out based on assessing the health aspects of the DIR Decree Number 30/SK/KEP/DIR dated 30 April 1997 concerning Procedures for Assessing the Health Level of Rural Banks. It was guided by the Decree of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. 826/KMK.013/1992. The aspects assessed in determining the level of company health include capital, productive asset quality, management, profitability, and liquidity. Based on the results and discussion above, the conclusions of this research are as follows: PT LKM's performance from 2018-2022 shows UNHEALTHY conditions. One of the reasons why PT LKM's health value is so small is that the quality of its productive assets, which have the most significant weight in determining the company's health level, has very little value.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the role of short video marketing, electronic word of mouth, and perceived risk in building consumer trust and purchase intention in online travel agents. This study involved 252 respondents who had seen Tiket.com service promotions on social media and were domiciled in Jakarta. The analytical methods used were validity and reliability testing using SPSS software, model feasibility testing, and hypothesis testing using AMOS 29 software. The analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling. These findings indicate that short video marketing and eWOM increase consumer trust, but only eWOM significantly drives purchase intention. Short video marketing does not directly influence purchases, while perceived risk does not reduce consumer trust but instead drives purchase intention because consumers are more cautious. Consumer trust itself is not significant for purchase intention, so other factors such as price and promotions remain important in purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Land registration is a legal process involving the registration of ownership or rights to land at authorized government institutions, such as land offices. The Complete Systematic Land Registration Program (PTSL) is one of the government's efforts to improve the quality of land services and expedite the land registration process. The final stage of land registration is the issuance of a land certificate as proof of title. The land certificate serves as official evidence that provides legal certainty regarding the ownership or rights stated therein. This study aims to determine the influence of the work environment and discipline on work productivity in the implementation of the Complete Systematic Land Registration Program (PTSL) in Bandaran Village, Winongan District, Pasuruan Regency. The analysis used is research instrument testing, descriptive analysis, classical assumption testing and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the study, the R Square value was obtained at 67.8%, which means that work productivity can be explained by 67.8% by the work environment and discipline. The work environment and discipline have a significant effect on work productivity simultaneously with an F count value of 33.63 and an F table value of 3.29 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 indicating that Ha1 is accepted. The results of the work environment hypothesis test (X1) state a significance value of 0.025 <0.05 indicating that the work environment has a significant effect on work productivity. The results of the work discipline hypothesis test (X2) state a significance value of 0.015 <0.05 indicating that discipline has a significant effect on work productivity.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of work discipline and competence on job satisfaction, with employee performance as a mediating variable, among public and private kindergarten teachers in Banten Province. Performance issues posed challenges for organizations, requiring strategies such as improving discipline, competence, and satisfaction. The hypotheses proposed that work discipline and competence positively and significantly affected job satisfaction and performance, while job satisfaction positively influenced performance. Employee performance was also expected to mediate the effects of work discipline and competence on job satisfaction. A quantitative approach was applied using Slovin’s formula, involving 200 respondents from 401 ASN kindergarten teachers. Data were analyzed through path analysis. Results showed: (1) work discipline significantly affected job satisfaction (β = 0.334; t = 3.177); (2) competence significantly affected job satisfaction (β = 0.442; t = 4.830); (3) work discipline significantly affected performance (β = 0.441; t = 3.636); (4) competence had no significant effect on performance (β = 0.086; t = 0.887); (5) performance significantly affected job satisfaction (β = 0.444; t = 4.995). Employee performance mediated the effects of work discipline (β = 0.254; t = 3.082; p < 0.05) and competence (β = 0.235; t = 2.717; p < 0.05) on job satisfaction. These findings indicate that improving discipline and competence, supported by optimal performance, enhances job satisfaction among ASN kindergarten teachers in Banten Province.

Abstract

Face Recognition (FR) is a facial recognition technology used for check-in upon train departure. This study aims to determine the implementation of facial recognition technology in the passenger service system and identify the technical and non-technical challenges encountered. This study employed qualitative methods, collecting data using observation, documentation, and interviews. The interview method used was followed by data analysis and development using observations conducted by the author at the Face Recognition Unit at Yogyakarta Main Station during the research period of March-August 2025. The results show that the implementation of Face Recognition (FR) involves registration and data verification in the Access By KAI application or by visiting the departure station directly. Customers can then board directly through face recognition access by scanning their faces with a camera. Implementation of supporting systems and infrastructure with high-resolution cameras for facial scanning and ISO27001-certified cyber protection systems. Technical constraints include lack of stability and performance in the real-time data verification process, lack of accuracy in the lighting system, and the system's lack of sensitivity in recognizing customer data. Non-technical constraints include lack of customer trust, lack of socialization and education, and limited use, especially for toddlers, the elderly, and foreign nationals.
