The increasing complexity of global manufacturing competition requires industries to continuously improve operational efficiency while minimizing production waste. Medium and large-scale industries frequently encounter inefficiencies such as overproduction, waiting time, excess inventory, and product defects that negatively affect productivity and operational performance. This study aims to analyze lean manufacturing strategies for reducing waste and improving production efficiency in medium and large-scale industries through a qualitative literature review approach. Data were collected from relevant academic publications indexed in major scientific databases and analyzed using comparative thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that the most dominant lean manufacturing strategies include 5S, Kaizen, Just in Time (JIT), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), all of which contribute significantly to reducing non-value-added activities and improving production flow efficiency. The study also reveals that lean implementation differs according to organizational scale. Medium-sized industries tend to emphasize flexibility and participative improvement systems, whereas large-scale industries rely more heavily on integrated management structures and technological support. In addition, common implementation barriers include weak management commitment, employee resistance, and insufficient organizational readiness. This study contributes academically by developing a comparative synthesis of lean manufacturing implementation based on industrial scale, highlighting that the effectiveness of lean strategies is context-dependent rather than universally standardized. The findings emphasize the importance of adaptive and organization-sensitive lean implementation to achieve sustainable operational performance and industrial competitiveness.

Balinese language learning in schools plays an essential role in preserving local language and strengthening Balinese cultural identity amid modern social changes. One learning material that requires special attention is peparikan, because it demands vocabulary mastery, language sensitivity, creativity, and students’ ability to arrange meaningful expressions according to Balinese literary rules. This study aims to describe the obstacles encountered in teaching peparikan to eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Marga, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year, and to explain the strategies applied by teachers to overcome these obstacles. This research employed a qualitative approach supported by Piaget’s constructivist theory, behaviorist theory, and Herzberg’s motivation theory. The data were collected from primary and secondary sources through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the obstacles in peparikan learning consist of teacher-related and student-related challenges. The teacher-related obstacles include students’ limited ability to use Balinese properly, their dependence on examples, and differences in students’ learning abilities. Meanwhile, student-related obstacles include difficulty in selecting appropriate diction and hesitation to ask questions when they do not understand the material. To address these problems, the teacher provided appreciation for students’ efforts, used relevant learning media, created opportunities for asking questions, and implemented Problem Based Learning to encourage active participation. This study concludes that successful peparikan learning depends on the teacher’s ability to build a communicative classroom atmosphere, provide gradual examples, and encourage students’ confidence in using Balinese creatively.

Sesolahan Napak Pertiwi at Pura Dalem Penataran is a sacred artistic practice that combines religious expression, the aesthetics of Barong-Rangda dance drama, and the preservation of the Balinese language. One important element in this performance is ucap-ucap Rangda, which functions not only as a dramatic element, but also as a sacred expression containing literary, symbolic, and spiritual values. This study aims to describe the formation process of ucap-ucap Rangda, the meanings and signs contained within it, and the spiritual conditions that emerge during the implementation of Sesolahan Napak Pertiwi. This research applies a qualitative approach supported by structuralism theory and spiritual transformation theory. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study, then analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that ucap-ucap Rangda was formed through a process of traditional inheritance related to the history of the performance and the repeated use of sacred lyrics in a ritual context. Ucap-ucap Rangda contains distinctive linguistic structures, symbols of religious power, and spiritual signs that connect the performance with the beliefs of its supporting community. Furthermore, the spiritual conditions in Sesolahan Napak Pertiwi appear in four stages: initial awareness, purification, transcendental experience, and realignment. These stages indicate an inner transformation from self-preparation toward sacred unity and finally a return to socio-religious balance. This study concludes that Sesolahan Napak Pertiwi serves not only as a sacred performance, but also as a medium for preserving the Balinese language, transmitting spiritual values, and strengthening local cultural identity.

The implementation of learning process standards is an essential aspect of improving the quality of primary education in accordance with the National Education Standards. This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning process standards at SD Negeri 6 Kediri, covering the aspects of lesson planning, instructional implementation, assessment, and learning supervision. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis involving the principal, classroom teachers, and educational staff. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of learning process standards at SD Negeri 6 Kediri has generally been carried out effectively in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Teachers have developed instructional plans that accommodate students’ characteristics and have implemented active, interactive, and student-centered learning practices. Assessment has been conducted through both formative and summative assessments, while learning supervision has been carried out through regular academic supervision by the principal. Nevertheless, several aspects still require improvement, particularly the utilization of assessment results as a basis for instructional follow-up, the implementation of reflective evaluation practices, teachers’ digital competencies, and the availability of digital learning facilities. This study contributes to the understanding that the successful implementation of learning process standards is determined not only by effective planning and instructional delivery but also by the optimization of assessment follow-up, the strengthening of reflective evaluation practices, and adequate digital resources in primary schools.

Education plays an important role in shaping students’ character through a learning process that emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also attitudes, morals, and behavior. In Hindu Religious Education and Character Education, the teaching of Tri Kaya Parisudha serves as an ethical foundation for developing harmony among thoughts, speech, and actions. This study aims to describe and analyze the learning process of Hindu Religious Education and Character Education from the perspective of Tri Kaya Parisudha and its implications for the character formation of Grade X students at SMA Negeri 9 Denpasar. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, literature study, and documentation. The data were analyzed through data classification, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the learning process was implemented through lectures, discussions, habituation, and religious practices that integrated the values of manacika, wacika, and kayika. The value of manacika was instilled through the reinforcement of positive, reflective, and religious thinking; the value of wacika was developed through the habituation of polite, honest, and respectful communication; while the value of kayika was realized through disciplined, responsible, cooperative, and socially caring actions. The learning process also encouraged students’ active involvement through direct experiences in religious and social activities within the school environment. The implications of learning were reflected in changes in students’ attitudes and behavior, as they became more polite, orderly, caring, and able to control their thoughts, speech, and actions. Thus, Hindu Religious Education and Character Education based on Tri Kaya Parisudha contributes to holistic student character formation.

Rapa'i geleng is a traditional Acehnese performing art that embodies Islamic values and serves not only as a form of entertainment but also as a medium for da'wah and the dissemination of religious, moral, and social messages to the community. However, studies examining its role as a medium of cultural da'wah through the integration of poetic verses and symbolic performance elements remain limited. Understanding these aspects is important for explaining how traditional arts contribute to the transmission of Islamic values and the reinforcement of Acehnese cultural identity. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of rapa'i geleng as a medium of cultural da'wah in Acehnese society. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in Seuneulop Village, Manggeng District, Southwest Aceh. The findings reveal that the da'wah function of Rapa'i geleng is reflected in poetic verses containing praise to Allah SWT, stories of the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad SAW, encouragement to pursue knowledge, and messages promoting the preservation of Acehnese customs and culture. Furthermore, performance elements such as floor patterns, costumes, and movement structures embody Islamic symbolic meanings that reinforce the delivery of da'wah messages to audiences. The findings indicate that rapa'i geleng functions not only as a traditional performing art but also as an effective medium for transmitting Islamic values and strengthening the cultural identity of the Acehnese people.
