Abstract

Evaluation of the Crocodile Breeding Policy under the auspices of the Central Sulawesi Natural Resources Conservation Agency aims to assess the success and effectiveness of this policy in managing crocodile breeding, as well as its impact on wildlife conservation and community welfare. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with primary and secondary data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were obtained from the Central Sulawesi Natural Resources Conservation Agency, breeding partners PT. Mas Indah Permai, and the surrounding community. The analysis was conducted using William N. Dunn's policy evaluation theory, with six indicators: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy. The results of the study indicate that this crocodile breeding policy is not yet fully optimal. The effectiveness indicator shows that although this program is running well in helping to handle crocodiles, obstacles such as lack of infrastructure and financing still hinder the achievement of objectives. The efficiency and adequacy indicators also show imperfections, especially in terms of the budget and facilities needed. Overall, this program has made a positive contribution to conservation, but still requires improvements in the aspects of regulation and financial support. This study suggests the need to improve policies, regional regulations, and support for breeding partners so that conservation objectives can be achieved more optimally.

Abstract

Effective financial management plays a crucial role in improving the quality of educational services in higher education institutions. Proper financial management allows institutions to allocate resources optimally across various aspects, such as providing learning facilities, enhancing faculty competencies, developing curricula, and offering scholarships to students. Financial transparency and accountability are also key factors in maintaining stakeholder trust and ensuring institutional sustainability. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the relationship between financial management effectiveness and the quality of educational services in higher education institutions. The findings indicate that institutions implementing efficient, transparent, and accountable financial systems tend to have higher competitiveness and provide better educational services to students.

Abstract

The decline in tourist visits and environmental management challenges at Nirwana Garden Bali highlight the need for a more sustainable development strategy. This study aims to analyze tourism development, identify the implementation of Green Tourism, and design a sustainable destination development model to enhance competitiveness and local community involvement. A qualitative approach was used to analyze the green tourism-based development model at Nirwana Garden Bali. The research was conducted in Jembrana Regency, Bali, with primary data collected through in-depth interviews, FGDs, observations, and open-ended questionnaires with managers, tourists, and local communities, while secondary data was obtained from official documents and scientific literature. The research instruments included interviews to explore management strategies, FGDs to assess social, economic, and environmental impacts, as well as observations and documentation analysis related to regulations. The findings indicate that Nirwana Garden Bali has the potential to become a sustainable tourism destination through the development of eco-friendly infrastructure and partnerships with local communities. The implementation of green tourism principles, such as energy efficiency, water management, and other environmentally friendly practices, supports sustainability. This development model adopts the Green Tourism Marketing (GTM) and Penthahelix concepts, which promote collaboration among various stakeholders to enhance destination competitiveness while preserving the natural and cultural heritage of Bali.

Abstract

This research analyses the legal problems caused by the existence of multiple land titles in Indonesia, which reflect weaknesses in the country's land administration system. Multiple title cases not only create legal uncertainty and increase land disputes but also burden the judicial system with lengthy and complex legal processes. The economic impact is felt across sectors, with delays in property development and declining property values, affecting individuals, investors and financial institutions. The study emphasises the importance of legal reform and improvement of the land registration system with the adoption of modern technology and increased supervision. This will lead to a more transparent, accurate and reliable land administration system, reducing the potential for multiple land titles and providing better legal protection to landowners.

Abstract

The misuse of subsidized fuel distribution remains a critical issue that results in state losses and misdirected subsidies. The main problem in this study is to examine the extent of the law's role in addressing the misuse of subsidized fuel distribution. The aim of this research is to analyze the legal role in overcoming such misuse, identify the factors affecting the effectiveness of law enforcement, and explore the legal challenges involved in the enforcement process. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach. The results show that although the law plays an important role in regulation and enforcement, its effectiveness is hindered by weak implementation, lack of coordination between institutions, limited law enforcement resources, and low public legal awareness. The conclusion highlights the need to strengthen the legal system, improve the capacity of law enforcement officers, and encourage public participation in monitoring the distribution of subsidized fuel to ensure fairness and accuracy in its allocation.

Abstract

Sustainable agricultural development is essential for achieving global food security, especially in developing countries where the majority of the population relies on agriculture for their livelihoods. This paper explores the critical role of innovation, technology adoption, and sustainable practices in enhancing agricultural productivity and resilience against climate change. Through a comprehensive review of the current literature, this research identifies key factors driving successful agricultural development, including advancements in agricultural techniques, effective resource management, and supportive policy frameworks. Additionally, this study examines the challenges faced by the agricultural sector, such as land degradation, water scarcity, and market accessibility. The findings highlight the importance of collaborative efforts among stakeholders, including government authorities, private sectors, and local communities, to create an inclusive and resilient agricultural ecosystem. Furthermore, this paper presents case studies illustrating successful agricultural innovations and practices that contribute to sustainable development. The aim is to provide actionable insights and policy recommendations that can help policymakers and practitioners enhance agricultural productivity, improve farmer livelihoods, and ensure food security in an ever-changing global landscape.

Abstract

The phenomenon of K-Pop idols from South Korea, known as Hallyu or the Korean Wave, has widely spread to Indonesia. This culture is highly favored by the community, especially Generation Z, who actively follow trends, including the consumption of K-Pop merchandise. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, self-control, and consumer behavior on K-Pop merchandise consumption among Generation Z students at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. The research method used is quantitative, with questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 116 respondents. The data were analyzed using SPSS 29 through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression. The results indicate that financial literacy has a significant effect on K-Pop merchandise consumption, while self-control and consumer behavior have a positive but not statistically significant partial effect. Simultaneously, these three variables have a significant influence on merchandise consumption.

Abstract

(Dikdasmen) PCM Medan Deli in enhancing the quality of Muhammadiyah education. It focuses on assessing the extent to which the Majelis Dikdasmen PCM Medan Deli has fulfilled its tasks and functions, which are vital for supporting Muhammadiyah’s educational goals. The research employs a qualitative approach, particularly using ethnographic methods to understand the practices and contributions of the Majelis. Data was collected through observation, interviews with the chairman of Majelis Dikdasmen PCM Medan Deli, and analysis of documents related to educational practices. The results show that the Majelis has made significant contributions in various areas: providing educational facilities, improving teacher quality, and implementing regular evaluations of educational processes. These actions have fostered a synergy between schools and the Majelis, which has contributed to the growth of Muhammadiyah schools in Medan Deli. This research emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the Majelis and schools in fulfilling Muhammadiyah's vision to create a society based on Islamic values and principles.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Deep Learning technology in improving the quality of formative and summative assessments at the junior high school level in Banjarmasin City. The research findings indicate that the application of Deep Learning has significant potential in enhancing the effectiveness of assessments by providing faster, more targeted, and personalized feedback to students. The Deep Learning model is capable of analyzing student performance data in real-time, identifying patterns of difficulties faced by students, and offering more focused corrective recommendations, which were previously hard to achieve with conventional assessment methods. This study also identifies challenges in integrating this technology, such as the diversity of student characteristics, limited resources, and a curriculum that needs adjustments to fully accommodate this technology. However, the application of Deep Learning increases the objectivity of assessments, reduces human bias, and improves time efficiency for teachers by automating many aspects of the assessment process. Overall, the use of Deep Learning technology can have a positive impact on improving the quality of evaluation in Banjarmasin City's junior high schools, though greater attention to teacher training, curriculum adjustments, and the improvement of technological infrastructure is needed to ensure long-term success.

Abstract

This study explores the teaching strategies used by English teachers at SLB Negeri Bone Bolango for students with intellectual disabilities. The research aims to identify the types of strategies applied in teaching English to these students. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observations and interviews conducted in June 2024. The findings indicate three main strategies implemented by teachers: Direct Method, Total Physical Response (TPR), and Individual Learning. Each strategy is adapted to the students' needs and supported by appropriate media and approaches. Teachers face challenges such as students’ limited vocabulary comprehension, limited time for individualized instruction, and the need for an inclusive learning environment. To address these, teachers employ visual aids, physical activities, and adjust learning materials. The results reveal that the application of suitable teaching strategies can enhance students’ understanding and active participation in learning English.
