DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. DE_JOURNAL merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berisi tentang hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, gagasan atau inovasi pada bidang ilmu pendidikan. Gagasan yang berasal dari para peneliti yang berada pada sektor pendidikan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif pada dunia pendidikan. Abstract

Anak didik kelas VI mengarah adem ayem serta kegiatan belajar matematika siswa amatlah kurang. Buat pelajaran matematika angka pada umumnya yang didapat anak didik kelas VI masih rendah, persentase jumlah anak didik yang mencapai KKM sebesar 33, 33%. Riset ini merupakan riset aksi kategori (PTK) yang memakai tata cara game. Riset dilaksanakan dalam 2 tahap tiap- tiap terdiri dari 2 pertemuan lewat tahapan- tahapan selaku selanjutnya pemrograman, aksi observasi serta refleksi. Metode pengumpulan informasi dicoba lewat lembar observasi masing- masing pertemuan oleh observer buat memandang informasi mengenai kegiatan belajar, sedangkan informasi mengenai hasil belajar didapat lewat angka kuis setiap hari serta hasil belajar matematika anak didik di tahap 1, serta di tahap 2. Hasil yang didapat menampilkan kenaikan hasil kegiatan anak didik terutama pada kegiatan buat mempersiapkan tempat, materi serta perlengkapan sebesar 55, 56%, kegiatan buat mengatakan buah pikiran sebesar 66, 67% serta buat kegiatan membaca ketentuan game serta buku- buku hadapi sebesar 74, 04%. Bersumber pada informasi hasil belajar matematika anak didik didapat angka pada umumnya kategori pada siklus I sebesar 69, 62 meningkat jadi 73, 51 pada siklus II. Persentase jumlah anak ajar yang mencapai standar ketuntasan pula meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 88, 88% (Kelas Baik), meningkat jadi 100% (Kelas Khusus) pada siklus II.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning is not optimal. This is due to less optimal learning, including: (1) learning methods and tools are less varied; (2) learning strategies are few; (3) do not provide opportunities to develop the competencies possessed by students; (4) the lack of encouragement of students in learning; (5) Lack of students' attention in reading; (6) Students do not participate actively in learning. The purpose of this research is to confirm reading skills through modeling procedures. The concept of this research is programming, implementation, monitoring, reflection. The research location was at SD Negeri 190/VIII Perintis, Tebo Regency, with 23 research subjects. The method of collecting information uses student monitoring sheets. The base is obtained from the results of observation tests and selection. The monitoring results which proved that changes in students' activities to be more active in learning to read poetry in cycle I obtained an average of 2.91 with a percentage of 73% and cycle II obtained an average of 3.18 with a percentage of 78%. The results of students' poetry reading skills in cycle I, in general, the score obtained by 67 whereas in cycle II generally increases to 76 with a KKM of 65, which means that they have fulfilled the specified KKM.

Abstract

In writing narrative text, students must use conjunctions to make a coherence and a cohesion in the text. Most of students are lack of knowledge in using conjunction for writing narrative text. This study aimed to find out kind of conjunctions that students use in writing narrative texts, the conjunction errors found in it, and the teacher’s way in overcoming the errors. The research method was qualitative descriptive. The object of the research was students’ knowledge about the use of conjunctions in writing narrative texts in ninth grade SMP PGRI 1 Semarang in the 2022/2023 academic year. The data was gained through observation, and questionnaire. This research used Miles et al theory for the technique of analyzing the data, namely data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions. This research found 161 coordinating conjunctions, and 96 subordinating conjunctions. There were two types of error conjunction in students’ narrative text writing namely omission and misuse. For overcoming conjunction error teacher gave feedback to the students’ works, it supported that the students also need to understand the use of conjunction. Teacher needs to giving motivation to the students, meanwhile the students have to analyze more when they write a narrative text.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an atomic structure module integrated with Islamic values ​​with the help of Quick Response (QR)-Code to improve students' chemical literacy skills. This research departs from the problem that there are not many chemistry teaching materials that are integrated with Islamic values. This research is Research and Development (R & D) with a combination design of Defining, Designing, Developing, Dissemination (4D) and Four Steps Teaching Material Development (4 STMD). Data collection uses tests, questionnaires, and documents. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study revealed that: 1) The feasibility of the material was declared valid (100%) based on expert judgment. Concept understanding is 84% ​​or high category. 2) The resulting module has a feasibility percentage from the results of expert validation of 91.87% 3) There is an increase in students' chemical literacy skills between the pre-test and post-test (t = -3.033; df = 34; p = 0.005). 4) Student response to the use of the atomic chemistry integration module and Islamic values ​​is 89.69% or very good. The results of this study are that the developed module has eligibility in terms of validity and practicality so that it can be implemented to improve students' chemical literacy abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop globe and map-based learning media for natural appearance (IPS) material for fourth grade students at MI Ma'arif NU Batuanten. This learning media is designed using an engagement-based approach and integration of the latest technologies such as augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) to enhance student learning experiences. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The evaluation results showed that globe and map-based learning media were effective in increasing students' understanding of natural features and motivating them to learn more actively. The participation of teachers and students in the evaluation process also shows an awareness of the importance of evaluation in the learning process. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. In conclusion, this study shows the benefits of using globe and map-based learning media in learning natural appearance. The results of this study provide a broader understanding of the development of innovative and effective learning media for social studies material for fourth grade students. The implication of this research is the importance of using creative learning media and integration with other learning methods to create a holistic and integrated learning experience.other teaching methods to create a holistic and integrated learning experience.

Abstract

Students still need help writing poetry because they cannot determine a theme or image to use as inspiration. This study aimed to determine whether class X students of SMA Negeri 25 Bandung in the 2022/2023 academic year can write poetry more creatively, thanks to video content from the Instagram infojawabarat account. The true experimental design method was used in this study. The pretest-posttest control group design was used in this study. Based on the calculation results of the Normality Test, abnormal Significance data is generated. Then test the hypothesis using the Wilcoxon test; it is known that the output test Statistics is known as Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.001. Because the value of 0.001 <0.05, "Hypothesis accepted." Furthermore, a homogeneity test was carried out using the Mann-Whitney Test. Based on the output of Test Statistics, it is known that the value of Asymp Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.004 < 0.05 "Hypothesis accepted." So it can be concluded that there is a difference between the experimental class and the control class in terms of students' creative results, and the use of video content on the Instagram account infojawabarat has an impact on increasing students' creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of applying differentiated learning to the learning outcomes of students on arthropod material. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study were students in class X MIPA 5 at one of the public high schools in Banten Province. The results showed that students experienced an increase from the results of the previous assessment. In the results of the diagnostic assessment, it was found that 59% of students had completed and 41% of students had not completed. Meanwhile, on learning outcomes or formative tests, 70% of students have completed and 30% of students have not completed, so that differentiated learning greatly influences student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The implementation of this research was motivated by the constraints of learning media models that were less imaginative and fun, which made students feel less involved and bored, especially in applying religious characters. The purpose of this research is to create a learning environment with the help of Flash Card media about core values of religious character based on spiritual issues in the independent curriculum of first grade elementary schools on Pancasila Education Learning, which has been validated. This research is included in the category of research development or Research and Development. This study uses the Borg and Gall (1979) model which consists of 10 development processes. However, researchers only carry out development up to step seven, this is because up to step seven can already answer the formulation of the problem in this study and researchers can only produce media on a small scale within limited time. Interviews are data collection instruments used in the exploration stage, while the Likert scale and learning media assessment sheets are used in the product feasibility assessment stage to test the validity of the flashcard media. The results showed that the Flash Cards learning media was in a position that was very feasible to use with an average acquisition of validation results by 2 validators of 77.5% and an assessment result by class teachers of 80.6%.

Abstract

The teacher as an element in the teaching and learning process has multiple roles, not limited only as a teacher who only transfers knowledge but also as a mentor who encourages potential, develops alternatives and mobilizes students in learning. The aim of this research is to describe the teacher's role in the moral and personality development of elementary school students. This research uses the method of literature research research or literature study by examining various journals that have links or relationships with the teacher's role in the moral and personality development of elementary school students. The results of the study show that teachers have several roles in dealing with students, namely; corrector, inspirer, informator, organizer, motivator, initiator, facilitator, mentor, demonstrator, class manager, mediator, supervisor and evaluator. Moral values ​​and personality are a measure of the rightness or wrongness of an action, behavior and attitude of a person towards others and towards their environment.

Abstract

The 21st century is characterized as the information age where information is a necessity. The rapid flow of information requires good literacy skills to manage circulating information. One of the literacy needed is humanistic literacy. This study aims to describe and analyze ways to develop humanistic literacy of elementary school students through learning science. This research is a literature study. Data sources are in the form of books, journals, papers and other sources related to humanistic literacy and science learning. The data were analyzed by content analysis techniques. The results of the study state that humanistic literacy can be developed in elementary school students through science learning by developing group learning, student-centered learning and making creative and selling products. The teacher's role in developing humanistic literacy is as a learning developer, facilitator, motivator and evaluator.
