DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. DE_JOURNAL merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berisi tentang hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, gagasan atau inovasi pada bidang ilmu pendidikan. Gagasan yang berasal dari para peneliti yang berada pada sektor pendidikan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif pada dunia pendidikan. Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan media padlet terhadap kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi pada siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa/siswi kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2024/2025 yang terdiri dari 9 kelas yang berjumlah 265 orang, dari populasi tersebut ditetapkan sampel sebanyak 32 orang yakni kelas X MP 2 Yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest-posttest design dengan masalah dan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa dan untuk memperoleh data instrument yang digunakan adalah tes penugasan. Dari analisa data diperoleh hasil pretest siswa sebelum menggunakan media padlet menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 54,25 sedangkan hasil posttest siswa sesudah menggunakan media padlet menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 74,5 . Hasil uji hipotesis dengan uji-t diperoleh harga t_hitung=10,4146 sedangkan nilai t_tabel pada taraf signifikan ∝=0,05 adalah 1,6698 oleh s.ebab itu diperoleh t_(hitung>) t_tabel (10,4146>1,6698) maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media padlet efektif digunakan dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa kelas X SMK Negeri 6 Medan tahun pembelajaran 2024/2025.

Abstract

Mathematics learning tends to emphasize routine problems so that students' analytical thinking is not optimal. This reason is one of the obstacles to the development of students' creative abilities. Linear programming material appears in mathematics subject in high school. In this material students are directed to be able to interpret the problems that exist in the language of mathematics and then solve them according to needs. In the process of interpreting, students are guided to construct their creative thinking abilities. In addition, the availability of teaching materials has not facilitated student learning independently. The goal to be achieved in this research is to describe the feasibility of contextually-oriented worksheets based on students' creative thinking skills. The development model adapted in this research is the development of borg and gall. Starting with the stages of data collection, product development, validation, revision of the validator and field trials. Based on the results of the study, it was found that contextually based LKPD was declared feasible. Feasibility from a practical point of view was obtained from the results of individual trials on two math teacher respondents with an average acquisition of both 4.095 fulfilling very practical criteria. Furthermore, feasibility in terms of the effectiveness of the developed LKPD obtained pre-test (initial test) and post-test results in group trials. The results of the gain test score were 0.66 in the moderate improvement category. So that contextually based LKPD is said to be able to support effective learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the use of English short stories to improve the vocabulary mastery of 8th grade students at a public junior high school in Surabaya and their perceptions towards the use of English short stories. The researcher used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method, involving 28 students (13 males, 15 females) with varying abilities. Data was collected through tests and interviews related to the use of English short stories. According to the analysis, this study revealed that English short stories helped students improve their vocabulary skills (Mean: 68 > 72 > 80). Moreover, the students also had a positive perception of the use of English short stories.

Abstract

Bahan ajar berbantuan komputer yang bersifat dinamis sangat berguna ketika digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, bahan ajar berbantuan komputer memiliki kemampuan sebagai bahan yang memiliki daya abstraksi yang tinggi dan bersifat rumit. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif pada mata pelajaran IPS berupa program pembelajaran menggunakan software Macromedia Director. Jenis penelitian ini ialah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development). Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan media pembelajaran Interaktif materi Kolonialisme dan Imperialisme Bangsa Barat di Indonesia  dengan menggunakan Software Macromedia Director pada kelas VIII SMP. Pengembangan media pembelajaran menggunakan model 4-D (four D Models) Thiagarajan. Model pengembangan 4-D merupakan model yang dikembangkan oleh S. Thiagarajan, Dhoroty S. Semmel, dan Melvyn I. Semmel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan range nilai kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif, nilai kelayakan media ini dari siswa berada pada range sangat layak meskipun nilai ini mendekati kategori layak. Jika nilai kelayakan dipresentasikan, tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif adalah 86, 9 %. dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Interaktif pokok bahasan Kolonialisme dan Imperialisme Bangsa Barat di Indonesia ini dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran baik oleh guru maupun siswa.

Abstract

Integrated thematic learning is an instructional approach that combines various subjects into a cohesive and meaningful educational experience for students. The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of the Social Studies Content Learning Process Theme 4 Using Cooperative Models of the Group Investigation Type for Class IV MIN 3 Padang City Students. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects in this study were students of Class IV MIN 3 Padang City, with a total of 26 students consisting of 15 girls and 11 boys. The results showed that the implementation of the learning process in the second cycle of teacher aspects with a percentage of 99% with very good qualifications. Whereas in the first cycle student component, the percentage value of 82.14% showed a very good increase. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of the GI type cooperative model can improve the learning process of social studies content for fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Learning activities are the overall educational process in which there are stages of interaction between educators and students who are interconnected in the continuity of the learning process. To become an educator it is not enough just to have extensive knowledge, but in transferring this knowledge requires proper and correct interaction. The purpose of this research is to describe how the thematic learning outcomes are increased by using the PBL model in Class V SDN 14 Ulakan Tapakis. This type of research was classroom action research, while the research subjects were fifth grade students at SDN 14 Ulakan Tapakis, totaling 20 people consisting of 11 female students and 9 male students. The results showed that the results of observations could be seen from the teacher's aspect, namely 78.57% in cycle I increased to 94.63% in cycle II. Meanwhile, from the perspective of students, 80.35% in cycle I increased to 94.63% in cycle II. then the researcher can conclude that the use of the PBL model in integrated thematic learning can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education and Efforts to Strengthen Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru. This type of research ai I is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, checking the validity of the findings is carried out by researchers, using the help of various sources, theories, methods, and observations. The subjects of the study were school principals, vice principals for curriculum, facilities and infrastructure for PAI teachers. The results of the research, discussion and analysis of data / information show that 1) Description of the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru with supporting factors, namely: students, teachers/educators, curriculum, extracurriculars, collaboration between parents and the school, facilities and infrastructure. 2) An overview of the school's efforts in strengthening Islamic religious education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru. The strengthening efforts carried out are strengthening efforts with supporting factors, namely aspects: students, teachers/educators, curriculum, extra-curricular and facilities and infrastructure. Thus the implementation and efforts to strengthen Islamic Religious education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru can run well.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine how eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 30 Tebo reacted to the picture and picture learning model in an effort to enhance their descriptive writing skills. A somewhat unreliable experimental design was used for this study. This research was designed with a non-simultaneous control group. Students from eighth grade at SMP Negeri 30 Tebo made up the study's population. Sixty students were taken at random from two different sections of VIII: class VIII B (the experimental group) and VIII C (the control group). The control group receives instruction using a lecture format, while the experimental class is taught using a picture and picture model. The data collection tool consists of four essay questions. The data was analyzed using a t-test for independent samples. Both groups had similar averages on the pretest, with the test group averaging 55.13 and the control group averaging 60. Class A received a posttest average of 75.3% while Class B averaged 72.7%. At the 5% level of significance, the t-test on independent samples showed that the significance obtained was 0.01 0.05, so Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This research focuses on eighth-graders at SMP Negeri 30 in Tebo District, Indonesia, and how the picture and picture model can help them become better expository writers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of a combination of dumbbell wrist curl exercises and maryland 5 spot shooting drill on the 3 point shooting results of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang and the magnitude of the influence. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all 25 basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling or saturated sampling so that the sample used was 25 people. The implementation of the research is the form of physical exercise was carried out 16 times within a period of one month. The data analysis technique using the t test for two dependent samples (paired samples) gives the result that is t count = -8.497 > t table = -2.064 and the value is ????????????. (2 − ????????????????????????) = 0.0000 < ???? = 0.05 then Ho is rejected thus giving the conclusion that there is an influence of a combination of dumbbell wrist curls and maryland 5 spot shooting drill on the 3 point shooting results of basketball extracurricular students at SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The influence of the combination of dumbbell wrist curl and Maryland 5 spot shooting drill on the 3 point shooting results of basketball extracurricular students at Palembang 1 Public High School was 0.2827 in the moderate category.

Abstract

This research was carried out to overcome the lack of learning media that did not attract the attention of children at Aisyiyah 01 Koto Baru Kindergarten, which had an impact on their disinterest in participating in learning. Efforts were made to utilize letter dice games as a means of supporting learning that is able to attract children's interest and help them in the learning process. Research and development is carried out by following the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The results of the validation assessment of the letter dice game in improving cognitive development by three experts showed an average score of 79%, which indicates that this game is included in the valid category. The practicality test shows an average score of 97.32%, indicating that the letter dice game is very practical to use. While the results of the effectiveness of the letter dice game show an average score of 85%, with 14 children at the BSB stage (Good Very Good) and 1 child still at the MB stage (Not yet). With this percentage, the effectiveness of the game is categorized as very effective. Based on the above analysis, it can be concluded that letter dice game is effective in enhancing cognitive development and facilitating children's understanding in the learning process. This research resulted in a letter dice game that is very valid, very practical, and very effective.
