DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pendidikan. Abstract

This study aims to identify the contribution of eye-hand coordination and arm muscle strength to smash accuracy in badminton club Pb.BankRiau Kepri Pekanbaru. The research was conducted by collecting data from 10 badminton players who are active in the club. The data collected includes the results of eye-hand coordination tests, hand muscle strength tests, and smash accuracy. The sampling technique was carried out using total sampling technique. Data analysis techniques are carried out using product moment and double correlation. Based on the results of the study, the conclusions obtained in the study are: There is a contribution but not significant hand-eye coordination to the accuracy of badminton smash athletes Pb.BankRiau Kepri Pekanbaru with a percentage of 5.2%. The calculation results obtained a rcount value of -0.228 < rtable = 0.628) there is a contribution but not significant arm muscle strength to the accuracy of badminton smash club athletes Pb.BankRiau Kepri Pekanbaru with a percentage of 3.5%. The calculation results obtained a rcount value of 0.118 < rtable = 0.632) there is a contribution but not significant eye-hand coordination and arm muscle strength on the accuracy of badminton smash club Pb.BankRiau Kepri Pekanbaru with a percentage of 7.2%. The calculation results obtained the value of rcount -0.268 < rtabel = 0.632).

Abstract

Generic science skills is important to be mastered so that students have good mastery of science concept, scientific attitudes and science process skills. In this independent curriculum era, learning including science is directed to use a project-based learning model. This study aims to identify the generic science skills contained in the project-based learning model. This research is classified as a literature study. The data sources for this research come from books, papers and other literature related to generic science skills and project-based learning models. The data analysis technique was carried out using content analysis techniques. The results of the study state that the project-based learning model can develop a variety of generic science skills, namely direct observation, indirect observation, logical framework, logical inference, mathematical modeling and causal relationships.

Abstract

The study's objectives is to outline the processes of Polya's problem-solving method for addressing story problems involving a system of linear equations with two variables while accounting for the students' adversity quotient (AQ). The study was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Langowan during the odd semester of the 2021–2022 academic year. For this study, a qualitative descriptive methodology was used. Three eighth-graders from SMP Negeri 2 Langowan served as the study's subjects. Based on their aptitude for problem-solving and level of adversity, they were classified as climbers, campers, or quitters. Exams, interviews, and questionnaires were the methods of data collecting. Based on the research's analyzed findings, it was discovered that when using Polya's problem-solving steps to solve story problems pertaining to a system of linear equations with two variables, students' problem-solving skills could be categorized into three groups based on their ability to overcome adversity: climbers, campers, and quitters. Students with the AQ climber type, master every problem-solving indicator. Students with camper-type AQ, on the other hand, are able to understand three problem solvings. Students with quitter-type AQ, on the other hand, can only meet one problem-solver.

Abstract

The research have the intention increase beginning reading skills take advantage of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) method at SDN Tanjung Priok 01. This type is Classroom Action Research (CAR) Kurt Lewin model, with the subject of class II students as many as 32 children (16 boys and 16 girls) located at SDN Tanjung Priok 01 North Jakarta. The data got from observation, tests, and documentation. Then, the data was analyzed by reflecting on the achievement by percentages and strengthened by conclusions. The improvement is proved by the mean value of reading ability in the first cycle which is 85,75 (good), then an increase to 92,50 (very good) in the second cycle. The classical completeness at the initial value was 70% (only 13 students completed) so that cycle I was applied with an increase of 84% (27 students completed). The conclusion from all of the research results is the CTL method can enhance the beginning reading of grade II student of SDN Tanjung Priok 01. Thus, the CTL method be able to use for other research so that learning becomes more varied so that it can improve learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

In the data from the odd semester final exam results for the 2021/2022 school year, there are many students at SMPN 1 Kambera who score below the KKM standard. Referring to this, this study aims to evaluate the characteristics of each item of questions used in the final exam of the semester using several predetermined criteria. This study applies a quantitative descriptive method. The sample taken is class VIIID. The results of the analysis using ITEMAN show that 25% of the items are invalid and 75% of the items are valid. In addition, its reliability reaches a high level of "0.886". Based on the level of difficulty analysis, 17% of the questions were categorized as very easy, 14% were categorized as easy, and 15% were categorized as moderate. There were also 17% questions that were considered very difficult, and 37% questions that were considered difficult. Based on the cognitive level, there are 20 items that are included in the high difficulty level (HOTS) and 15 items that are included in the low difficulty level (LOWS). In terms of discriminating power, 88% of the items had good discriminating power, 3% of the items had poor discriminating power, and 9% of the items did not have good discriminating power. In research on distractor effectiveness, 54% of distractor choices were found to be effective, and 46% of distractor choices were ineffective.

Abstract

The background of the problems that arise in this study is that in class learning, student motivation and creativity still do not appear well during learning activities. As an effort to overcome these problems, the Mind Mapping model was chosen to be applied in classroom learning. The purpose of the research that has been done is to improve the learning process in class and develop students' creativity and motivation in learning activities in class II SD Negeri 11 Sitiung. The target of the research that was carried out was class II students at SDN 11 Sitiung with a total of 18 students. The research method applied is classroom action research (CAR). The research was conducted for 1 cycle. The research was carried out face-to-face with students in class. The method used is planning research, conducting research, observing and reflecting on research results. Through student activity observation sheets and mind mapping assessments, the results of student creativity and motivation were obtained in good criteria. There is an increase in students' creativity and motivation in learning. The results of research by applying the Mind Mapping learning model have an impact on increasing the level of motivation and creativity of students in learning. There were 15 students (83.33%) already motivated in learning activities. Then there were 12 creative students (66.67%) It was proven that the motivation and creativity of students in Class II of SDN 11 Sitiung showed a good impact and Mind Mapping could develop students' motivation and creativity in following and understanding subject matter.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Lubang Buaya 13 Jakarta Timur melalui penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan lokasi penelitian berada di SDN Lubang Buaya 13. Jumlah subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 27 siswa kelas IV-B. Adapun Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) untuk mata pelajaran IPA adalah 75. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan dari nilai awal rata-rata siswa, yaitu 57,22 menjadi 77,26 pada siklus I, kemudian mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi 81,63 pada siklus II. Adapun ketuntasan klasikal pada nilai awal sebesar 18,51% (hanya 5 siswa yang memenuhi KKM). Pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 59,26% (16 siswa yang memenuhi KKM). Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan kembali menjadi sebesar 81,48% (22 siswa yang memenuhi KKM). Dengan demikian, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran yang menerapkan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Lubang Buaya 13 Jakarta Timur.

Abstract

This research generally aims to obtain a learning module for Islamic Religious Education based on flipbook media at SMAN 112 Jakarta. While specifically to analyze the implementation of learning with flipbook-based modules and analyze the effectiveness of flipbook-based modules. This research is a type of research and development (R&D). The research data source consisted of qualitative research in the form of in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education educators and students at SMAN 112 Jakarta. Meanwhile, quantitative data was obtained from the results of questionnaires (questionnaires) from experts, educators, and students who were analyzed using a Likert scale and t-test. The research findings show that the flipbook-based Islamic Religious Education learning module is feasible to use and effectively improves the learning outcomes of class X students of SMAN 112 Jakarta and can be used easily. The implications of the results of this study theoretically contribute to learning media developers and students because the modules are arranged based on the needs and characteristics of students. While the practical implications show that after participating in learning with flipbook-based modules the learning outcomes of students improve significantly, the average learning outcomes are above the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM).

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the high-level thinking skills of PGSD students at Dharmas Indonesia University in learning media courses by applying the flipped classroom model. The desired results test the effectiveness of the flipped classroom model in learning media courses on students' analytical, evaluation and creative abilities. Type of R&D research with ADDIE development procedure. The results showed that the effectiveness of the flipped classroom model in the learning activities of learning media courses for PGSD students at Dharmas Indonesia University had an average of 1.84. on the ability to analyze, the average is 1.84 on the ability to evaluate and the average is 1.09 on the ability to create. Testing the effectiveness of the model was carried out using the Mann-Whitney non-parametric statistical analysis test obtaining a significance level of 0.002 for the ability to analyze, 0.007 for the ability to evaluate and 0.008 for the ability to create. These values are less than 0.05, which means that the flipped classroom model implemented is able to improve the ability to analyze, evaluate and create the ability of PGSD students at Dharmas Indonesia University

Abstract

The role of parents in preparing athletes to face changes in the new normal era in Jombang Freestyle Club is an important thing to know in this study, with a descriptive type of research. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to the parents or guardians of 21 athletes participating in the Jombang Freestyle Club, who were taken using a total sampling technique. The processed descriptive analysis is presented in percentage form. The results of the study revealed that in fact the role of parents in supporting the sports achievement of the Jombang Freestyle Club Roller Skate Athletes was in the category of "very poor" with a percentage of 0%, "poor" with a percentage of 33%, "enough" with a percentage of 33%, "good" with a percentage of 29%, and "very good" represents 5%. Referring to the average score, which is 100, the role of parents in supporting the sports achievements of the Jombang Freestyle Club roller skate athletes is in the sufficient category.
