Dharmas Education Journal (DE_Journal)
DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Jurnal ini memuat artikel yang belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya yang berupa artikel hasil penelitian ataupun penelitian terapan, artikel telaah yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal ini terbit 2 kali dalam setahun yaitu bulan Juni dan Desember. DE_JOURNAL merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang berisi tentang hasil penelitian, kajian mendalam, gagasan atau inovasi pada bidang ilmu pendidikan. Gagasan yang berasal dari para peneliti yang berada pada sektor pendidikan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif pada dunia pendidikan. This research aims to analyze and synthesize various literature related to education policy and education personnel in Indonesia through a systematic literature review approach. The focus of the study covers three main aspects: (1) implementation of national education policies, (2) development of the competence of education personnel, and (3) effectiveness of policies in improving the quality of education. The research method uses a systematic literature review by analyzing scientific articles, policy documents and research results published in the 2018-2023 period. A literature search was carried out through the Google Scholar, SINTA and Garuda Portal databases using relevant keywords. Of the total of 150 articles identified, 50 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed in depth. The research results show several important findings: First, there is a gap between the formulation and implementation of education policies in the field. Second, developing the competence of educational staff still faces various structural and technical challenges. Third, the effectiveness of education policies is strongly influenced by leadership factors, organizational culture and stakeholder support. This research provides recommendations for improving education policies and developing education personnel in Indonesia.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan sekolah dalam pemanfaatan sampah menjadi ecobrick bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan keterampilan siswa dalam mengelola limbah. Inisiatif ini melibatkan pengumpulan sampah plastik yang tidak terpakai dan mengubahnya menjadi ecobrick, yaitu bata dari botol plastik yang diisi dengan limbah plastik. Melalui pelatihan dan workshop, siswa diajarkan tentang dampak negatif sampah terhadap lingkungan dan pentingnya proses daur ulang. Pelaksanaan program ini tidak hanya membantu mengurangi jumlah sampah di lingkungan sekolah, tetapi juga menghasilkan produk yang bermanfaat untuk berbagai proyek konstruksi di sekolah. Kegiatan ini mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa, guru, dan orang tua dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan siswa serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengurangan limbah plastik. Diharapkan, inisiatif ini bisa menjadi contoh bagi sekolah-sekolah lain dalam menerapkan pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan.

This study is motivated by the importance of understanding the extent to which students have science process skills, especially at the elementary school level, as one indicator of the effectiveness of science learning. The main problem studied in this study is the level of science process skills of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Susut. This study aims to find out in depth and quantitatively how these science process skills develop among 31 fourth grade students, and involves one fourth grade teacher who has an important role in the learning process. The research method includes the use of instruments in the form of questionnaires, interview guidelines, and documentation to collect relevant data. Each of these tools is very important to help in obtaining sources of information about science process skills. This data analysis method is carried out descriptively, and to measure the results of the student questionnaire, a Likert scale is used. The results of the study showed that based on the questionnaire data, the distribution of science process skills of grade IV students of SDN 1 Susut was as follows: 48.39% of students were included in the Very Good (SB) criteria, 38.71% in the Good (B) criteria, 9.67% in the Fairly Good (CB) criteria, and 3.22% in the Less Good (KB) criteria. Analysis of interviews with teachers revealed that although students' science process skills were already at a good level, further improvements were still needed to improve the quality of learning. This study is expected to be a foundation for further research and assist in the development of more effective learning methods in the future.

This research examines media and learning resources in Islamic education which play a vital role in the Islamic learning process. In the current digital era, the development and use of effective media and learning resources is becoming increasingly important to increase students' understanding and appreciation of Islamic values. This study aims to analyze various types of media and learning resources that can be utilized in Islamic education, as well as identifying optimal use strategies in the learning process. Through a descriptive analytical approach, this research explores the potential for integrating modern technology with traditional values in developing Islamic learning media that is contemporary but still in accordance with sharia principles. This research uses bibliography procedures (Library research). This method is an analysis of several references related to the research carried out, including analysis of figure views, newspapers, novels and others. This study aims to analyze the leadership characteristics of Teacher Professional Education (PPG) students in the context of the New Technology in Teaching and Learning course. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with research subjects being pre-service PPG students of the Mathematics Education study program. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and questionnaires to evaluate three main indicators that influence leadership effectiveness, namely: social competence, communication skills, and psychological characteristics. The results of the study showed that communication skills were the most dominant aspect with the highest score, while the other two indicators showed performance that was still at an intermediate level. In addition, mastery of technology plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness of group leadership in the collaborative process. Based on these findings, it is recommended to develop a more comprehensive technology-based leadership training program, in order to improve students' ability to lead groups, especially in technology-based teaching in the digital era.

This research was carried out to find out the effect of Paragraph Hamburger Strategy on students’ ability in writing recount text at tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Siantar. The research methodology used in this research was a quantitatve method with a quasi- experimental as a research design. The population of this research was tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Siantar in the academic year 2024/2025. The researcher took two classes as the sample. The samples were X-5 as experimental group consisted of 36 students and X-6 as control group consisted of 36 students. The experimental group was taught by Paragraph Hamburger strategy meanwhile control group was taught by Conventional strategy. The data were obtained by using pre-test and post-test given to both groups. The experimental class mean score on the pre-test was 66,5 and the mean score of control class was 68,02. On the other hand, the mean score of experimental class on pre-test was 77,30, while the mean score of control class on post-test was 74,88. To acquire data, the researcher used test as instrument. The result of t-test was 3,102 which was higher than t-table at 5% of level significance (1,667). The result of significance value indicates that alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, while the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. It meant that there was significant effect by using Paragraph Hamburger strategy at tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Siantar in writing recount text.

Students' understanding of global diversity at SDN 3 Abiansemal has begun to develop, but is still limited. Students tend to still be in groups with friends with similar backgrounds, and the application of diversity values is conveyed more theoretically than practically. Based on these problems, researchers want to know the application of the character education program to the Pancasila profile of global diversity elements at SD N 3 Abiansemal. This research aims to analyze the implementation of a character education program on elements of global diversity in class IV at SDN 3 Abiansemal. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving observation and interviews. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of class IV SD N 3 Abiansemal. The data analysis process is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions from the information obtained during observation. This research uses primary data sources as the main material. The results show that the character education program in class IV of SDN 3 Abiansemal succeeded in increasing students' understanding of local culture and attitudes of tolerance. Extracurricular activities, such as traditional dance and crafts, as well as the integration of P5 material, strengthen the values of mutual cooperation and mutual respect. Project activities and interactive discussions develop intercultural communication and strengthen the sense of community, preparing students to face social and cultural challenges.

The aim of this research is to determine the significant impact of memory games using modified cue cards on seventh grade students' vocabulary mastery at SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar in the 2024/2025 academic year. This study specifically focuses on noun mastery. This research involved a population of 320 seventh grade students, who were then selected in two classes using purposive sampling techniques. The sample consisted of an experimental class (VII-1) with 32 students involved in memory games, and a control class (VII-2) with 32 students who received traditional instruction through teacher explanations. Data collection was carried out through multiple choice pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class increased from 47.9 in the pre-test to 74.5 in the post-test. In contrast, the average score of the control class increased from 55.6 in the pre-test to 65.3 in the post-test. The analysis shows a t-test value of 4.828 with degrees of freedom calculated as (n1 + n2 - 2), resulting in a total of 62. The critical t-value at the 0.05 significance level is 1.670. Because the observed t-test value (4.828) exceeds the critical t-value (1.670), the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. These findings indicate that there is a significant influence on students' vocabulary mastery when taught using memory games with cards at SMP Negeri 8 Pematangsiantar.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kecenderungan siswa yang kurang peduli dalam membantu orang lain atau rendahnya perilaku prososial. Kondisi ini dapat terlihat masih enggannya siswa membantu temannya baik dalam belajar maupun kegiatan lainnya. Fenomena ini antara lain disebabkan oleh rendahnya kecerdasan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecerdasan emosional siswa dan perilaku prososial siswa, dan mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku prososial siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 134 siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Swasta Kesehatan Duri yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kecerdasan emosional dan angket perilaku prososial. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan diuji dengan menggunakan rumus korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) rata-rata skor capaian kecerdasan emosional siswa mencapai 91,48 (76,84%) kebanyakan siswa memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi, (2) rata-rata skor capaian perilaku prososial siswa 114,39 (81,3%) kebanyakan siswa memiliki perilaku prososial yang tinggi, dan (3) terdapat hubungan yang positif signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan perilaku prososial siswa SMKS Kesehatan Duri dengan korelasi sebesar 0,540

This study aims to develop a science storybook with illustrations for teaching science (IPAS) to third-grade elementary school students and test the validity and practicality of the developed science storybook. This research is classified as research and development. It follows the 4D model stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 5 Mas Ubud, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. The research instruments used include a validity sheet and a practicality sheet. The data from the research were analyzed descriptively. The results show that the developed science storybook consists of twelve science stories designed to introduce seven science concepts (IPAS), complete with animated illustrations, storyline, and science concept columns and the developed science storybook meets the requirements for validity and practicality. The conclusion of this research are a science storybook with illustrations is suitable for use in science learning.
