Abstract

Concern about the occurrence of learning loss in students due to the implementation of distance learning has become a common problem that has colored the history of education in the world in general and in Indonesia in particular during this COVID-19 pandemic. While all educational institutions have not found a solution to anticipate the occurrence of learning loss in students during this pandemic, the majority of Islamic boarding schools remain firm in their stance to consistently carry out face-to-face learning. So in this study, we want to see how organizational behavior at the group level, namely the teacher council (asatidz), guardians of students, and students themselves in Islamic boarding schools face organizational behavior at the individual level, namely kyai as educational leaders in Islamic boarding schools. This research is categorized in the type of library research. The approach used in this research is descriptive-qualitative. All members of the Islamic boarding school respect the Kyai's decision and are willing to cooperate with him, realizing that the Kyai's request is consistent with their personal goals. And in fact, all members of the Islamic boarding school feel that their personal goal of anticipating learning loss by continuing to hold face-to-face learning is achieved through these activities. So this is what is meant by effective leadership by a Kyai. Keywords: Organizational Behavior, Leadership Effectiveness, Kyai, Learning Loss

Abstract

The fundamental problem of the world of education in Indonesia is the low quality of education. This is shown, with the still high inequality of the quality of education between regions. Indicators of educational development at the provincial level show two trends, namely in categories above national standards and below national standards. Indicators of the quality of education can be seen in participation figures, dropout numbers, class repeat numbers, teacher-student ratio, teacher-school eligibility level, and condition of school facilities and infrastructure. Islamic education in its existence as a component of nation building, especially in Indonesia, plays a very large role and this took place since long before the independence of the Indonesian nation. This can be seen in the practice of Islamic education organized by Muslims through traditional educational institutions such as taklim assemblies, study forums, surau and pesantren that thrive and exist until now.

Islamic education does not only see education as an effort to educate but is in line with the Islamic concept of man and the nature of his existence. In fact, Islamic education seeks to foster an understanding and awareness that humans are equal in front of Allah, the difference is the level of devotion as a form of qualitative difference. Finally, the goal of Islamic education is to produce human beings who are faithful and knowledgeable, and support each other. Otherwise, it can be declared as a new ignorance. Abstract

The problem of mobilization is closely related to people and is one of the most complex and difficult problems of all management functions, because no matter how modern the equipment, without the support of people as actors it means nothing. Mobilizing people is difficult because human workers are living beings with different self-esteem, feelings and goals. This mobilizing function can be compared to a car key, the car will only move if the state lock has worked. The role of the leader as key holder is very important to note and pay attention to. Especially when that leader is leading an educational institution which has the peculiarity that the leader is a human being, the led is a human being, and the goal is to print humans. For this reason, the purpose of this brief journal is to explain the urgency of this matter and to give a brief analysis of it.

Abstract

In the world of Islamic Religious Education, there are many subjects whose delivery is slightly delayed and will be imperfect, as is the case in the subject History of Islamic Culture. This subject is quite difficult in terms of delivery, many teachers do not deliver it optimally because the strategies used are still inadequate, they only focus on one model, namely lectures. This results in students easily getting bored because they only listen to the teacher lecture and then write and do assignments. Therefore, in the SKI learning process, efforts are made to achieve maximum learning, at least having strategies that can be used to encourage the delivery of material, because strategy is a component of learning.
