Abstract

Informatics students often experience academic stress and career anxiety due to heavy coursework demands, the pressure to master technical skills, and competition in the technology job market. To address these challenges, a community service program titled “Self Development with HIMATI: Mental Health for Student and Aspiring IT Professional” was held on October 27, 2024, at the STT NF Campus B Auditorium, involving approximately 80 participants. Through an interactive seminar, students received education on mental health, emotional regulation strategies, academic stress management, and career readiness. Evaluation results showed increased understanding, active participation, and improved readiness to apply stress-management strategies in daily academic activities. This program demonstrates that mental health education delivered through interactive seminars can serve as an effective preventive effort to support psychological well-being and self-development among informatics students.

Abstract

Low awareness of investment risks often leads novice investors into illegal futures trading schemes. This socialisation, conducted at Gedung Kuliah Bersama 1, aimed to equip students with risk management education through the use of MetaTrader demo accounts in collaboration with PT Trijaya Pratama Futures. Through a combination of material presentation and hands-on simulation, participants were encouraged to understand the importance of broker legality and actual market mechanisms. Field results indicated that practicing with demo accounts significantly helped students grasp the concrete function of capital protection features, such as stop-loss orders. Despite some technical device constraints, the activity successfully shifted the participants' perspectives to be more rational, moving beyond a focus on potential profits alone. The integration of regulatory theory and practical simulation serves as a key element in building a healthy financial literacy foundation within the academic environment.

Abstract

Technological developments and digitalization have opened up opportunities for housewives (IRT) to participate in financial markets, but require risk adaptation and digital literacy. This study aims to analyze the use of micro-capital as an investment vehicle and digital trading as a learning tool for small-scale fund management among housewives in Sawotratap Village. The research method used a qualitative-descriptive approach through the Community Service (PkM) program with assistance in micro-trading simulation practices supported by PT Trijaya Pratama Futures (TPFX). The results show that using micro-capital under Rp1 million provides a sense of psychological security and helps participants understand the concept of risk and real-world returns. Micro-digital trading has proven effective in fostering financial management discipline through the implementation of stop-loss strategies, although it still faces emotional control challenges such as overtrading. Therefore, a combination of micro-capital and digital trading is necessary to build the risk management capabilities of housewives in the face of inflationary pressures and rising costs of basic necessities.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology in community service activities has become one of the effective strategies to address environmental problems at the local level. This community service activity aims to implement the My Darling (Masyarakat Sadar Lingkungan) digital application as a waste bank management tool to enhance public awareness of environmental cleanliness and safety in Kadu Agung Village, Tigaraksa District, Tangerang Regency. The implementation methods include initial observation, socialization, application implementation, assistance, and evaluation. The results show that the use of the My Darling application facilitates waste bank management, increases community participation in waste management, and encourages the creation of a cleaner and more orderly environment. The main challenges encountered are related to the community’s digital literacy; however, these can be minimized through continuous assistance. This activity is expected to serve as a model of digital technology–based community service that can be replicated in other regions.

Abstract

Financial planning is an essential skill that enhances human resource (HR) quality and supports rural communities in achieving economic independence. The people of Binaus Village, South Central Timor Regency, face challenges in financial management due to fluctuating incomes, consumptive spending habits, and low saving awareness. This community engagement program aims to improve financial literacy through socialization and training using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involved observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and practical workshops on financial recording, budgeting, and saving strategies. The results indicate a positive shift in community mindset, from short-term consumption toward more productive financial allocations, including education, health, and emergency savings. The study concludes that contextual financial planning socialization can strengthen financial awareness, reduce dependence on high-interest loans, and guide rural communities toward sustainable financial freedom.

Abstract

The lack of lighting and the high potential for accidents at night on Argo Raya Street, Pasanggrahan Village, became the basis for implementing a simple road reflector installation program. This activity aims to provide effective visual guidance for road users at accident-prone points. The approach used includes field observation, reflector design using lightweight steel materials, installation at strategic locations, and post-installation visibility evaluation. The results indicate that the presence of reflectors significantly increases the driver's visibility range, clarifies the lane direction, and provides a longer reaction time in low-light conditions. The use of lightweight steel material has proven to be stable, resistant to weather changes, and easy to install, making it a practical solution for rural areas. This program received a positive response from local residents and contributed to increasing awareness regarding driving safety. Overall, this intervention is considered effective and feasible to be replicated in areas with similar characteristics.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the national economy, but still face challenges in financial management, especially in micro businesses such as Pop Ice sellers in school environments. Unstructured manual recording often makes it difficult for business actors to monitor cash flow. This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to increase payment literacy and digital financial recording for Pop Ice business actors in Pekanbaru. Through a participatory approach, activities begin with needs analysis, training through workshops, demonstrations and direct mentoring. Partners are trained to use financial applications that are easy to operate to record daily transactions and manage digital payments such as QRIS. The results of the activity show an increase in partners' ability to record transactions accurately, prepare simple reports, and understand the financial condition of their business, thereby supporting business sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

Policies on religious tolerance in Indonesia make it challenging to maintain social harmony due to the variety of cultures and religions. This community service was carried out in Dukuh Tegalsari, Musuk Village, Boyolali Regency, which demonstrates pluralistic harmony but still encounters issues with establishing places of worship. The objective is to discover strategies that rural communities use to foster and preserve tolerance, while providing guidance for local policies. Qualitative methods involved interviewing community members, organizing socialization activities, and executing them to improve awareness of tolerance. Findings emphasize successful strategies, including interfaith dialogue, inclusive education rooted in Pancasila, and shared social events that reinforce community connections. Major obstacles include misunderstandings of religious teachings and harmful stereotypes, which are tackled through education and inclusive government policies. Ultimately, the conclusion highlights that practicing tolerance daily supports lasting social development, positioning Dukuh Tegalsari as an example model for tolerance strategies across Indonesia.
