Abstract

Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 16 of 2007 concerning Academic Qualification Standards and Teacher Competencies states that one of the competencies of high school biology teachers is the competence to properly design and implement practicum. Biology Education students as prospective biology teachers must master these competencies. The existence of independent learning resources can be used as a reference for prospective student teachers in studying material related to practicum activities. This study aims to produce independent learning resources in the form of videos. This research was conducted at the PMIPA Laboratory FKIP Riau University, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru and SMAN 15 Pekanbaru in April-December 2020. The type of research used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. The instruments used in this study were the validation sheet and response questionnaire. The results of the video validation obtained an average value of 3.57 with a very valid category. The results of the limited trial phase I obtained an average value of 3.64 in the very good category, while the results of the phase II trial obtained an average value of 3.43 in the very good category. Based on the results of the validation and trials, it shows that the video of the design and implementation of the biology practicum developed can be used as an independent learning resource for prospective biology teachers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aims of this research to determine the quality of tempeh milk powder by time fermentation and designing Student Worksheet relevant to a material Food Biotechnology Food Fermentation sub material. This study consisted of two phases. The first phase, were the making of  tempeh milk powder using the experimental method with completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 5 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters measured were moisture content, protein content, fat content, pH and organoleptic test. The results obtained were analyzed by ANOVA and a further test DMRT at 5% level. The second phase were the development of  Student Worksheet from the results of the first phase. This research used ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) are simplified into phases Analysis, Design and Development. Data of Student Worksheet development obtained from the validation sheet which validated by 3 validators with 5 validity criterias were analyzed descriptively. Results showed that the time of fermentation influence on moisture content, protein content, fat content, pH and organoleptic test. Fermentation time 12 hours is a long time to produce the best fermented tempeh milk powder quality. Which results in moisture content of 0.78%, 2.61% protein content, fat content 2.00% and 5.01 pH levels. As for organoleptic texture, color, aroma and flavor contained in the fermentation 36 hours. Results of the study can be used as Student Worksheet in the sub materials Food Fermentation on the material Food Biotechnology with a mean value of 3.32 validity valid category. Keywords : Student Worksheet, Food Biotechnology, Tempeh Milk Powder, Time Fermentation.

Abstract

The research was to examine effect restricted feeding in lenghorn chicken, in Labuh Baru Pekanbaru from June -August 2001.  The experiment was conducted  using completely Randomized Design ( R A L )  with three replications. The treatment consist of A (Full  feeding without the fast), B (Three days full feeding, one day the fast), C (six days full feeding, one day the fast). The treatment each consist of five  lenghorn chickens Various parameter such as food consume, increase body weight and food conversion. Data were analyzed using Anava with  DMRT  5 %  level of signification. The result o f this experiment showed that effect  restricted  feeding significance to  food  consume,  increase  body  weight  and  food  conversion  in lenghorn chicken.  The treatment C, was good to increase body weight and food conversion, where as the treatment B to food consume.   Key words : Consume, Conversion, lenghorn chicken, restricted feeding

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research aims to utilizing interaction earthworm with environment in the calcareous land. The research can be specified through a two-stage: the first year and second year. Results from our earlier studies aims: (1) to find out earthworm interaction with calcareous land, (2) identification of earthworm in calcareous land. Using three examples from different land: monoculture, polyculture, and agroforestry. The research data collected with 3 repetitions in every land. Measurement of micro climates include temperature, humidity, pH, and light intensity. Identification the type of earthworm consist of: the body shape, color, position and the form of klitelum, the prostomium, setae, and the position of genetal males and females. Identification using binocular microscopy at 10 to 40x magnification. Analysis correlation  were tested to figure out the relationships between variables. If the correlation of relationship between variable is very real or real continued test by STEPWISE REGRESSION to find out the most influential environmental factors on earthworms living. The result of the research are: (1) Earthworm had very significant most correlation (significant = 0,01) with air humidity (r= 0,855), light intensity (r = - 0,825), and soil humidity (r = 0,60). Other environmental factors had a significantly small influence  (pH, r =0,17; soil temperature, r = - 0,28; and temperature r = 0,03). Air humidity is the most influential environmental factors on earthworms living (2) identification of the types earthworm in different three land was found 2 species: Pontoscolex corethrurus and Metaphire javanica. In monoculture land is dominated by Metaphire javanica, whereas in Polikultur and Agroforestry land is dominated by Pontoscolex corethrurus. As a result, air humidity is the most influential environmental factors on the lives of earthworms and other environmental factors is relative small influence. On the calcareous land found two species of earthworm: Pontoscolex corethrurus and Metaphire javanica.     Keyword:Calcareous land environment, Identification earthworm, Pontoscolex corethrurus, Metaphire javanica

Abstract

Research has been conducted to determine the composition and stratification characteristics Strata Trees Community Riparian Vegetation in the area of Lake Forest Tourism Rimbo Seven Kampar district in Riau Province in June 2012. The method used is the belt transect method with the size of 10 × 60 m plots were distributed on a regular basis. Riparian vegetation was found on all three stations for 14 species consisting of 10 tribes. The dominant vegetation composition at three stations located on tribal Euporbiaceae and Anacardiaceae. The results showed that for the three sites it was Stratification (standing vertically) in 3 study sites are in stratum B, with the highest vegetation Gluta renghas which has a height of 30 m. The results of measurements of environmental parameters in the forest region Rimbo seven lakes tour shows the highest temperature at the location of the new lake that is equal 31.660C.Keywords : Lake Forest Tourism Rimbo Seven, composition, stratification of riparian vegetation

The research was conducted in January-February 2012. Subjects were students in grade 4 Kunto Darussalam VIIa SMP totaling 34 students consisting of 17 students and 17 students. Parameters is motivated by categories: challenge, curiosity, participation, and control, learning outcomes consisting of absorption, the thoroughness of learning and group awards, student activities and teacher activities. The average student motivation prior to the application of learning models, namely TAI 53.12% (average) increased after the application of learning models with an average TAI is 83.00% (high) and the absorption of students in the cycle I is 83.53% (both ) increased in the second cycle to 85.74% (good). Thoroughness of student learning in the cycle I is 70.59% and in the second cycle increased to 94.12%. I cycle a group award for the award and a great group of super 2 4 groups. In the second cycle there are two groups of super honored, three groups received a great award, and one group received both awards. Student activity in the cycle I is 66.24% (or less) increased in the second cycle is 75.75% (enough). I cycle activity with the teacher on an average of 100% (very good) as well as in the second cycle is 100% (very good).
