Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) strategy combined with Strip Story media in learning maharah al-kitabah and analyze its influence on student activity, collaboration, and writing skills. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, with subjects of grade VIII MTs SA Al-Hidayah. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the integration of STAD with Strip Story media was able to create collaborative and communicative learning. The average group score was in the good category (72–76), with a student collaboration level reaching 87% and activity level of 80%. Strip Story media plays a role in helping students develop storylines, enrich vocabulary, and express ideas in writing. Thus, this strategy not only improves Arabic writing skills but also forms responsibility and learning motivation through teamwork. This finding is an innovative alternative in Arabic language learning that is oriented towards processes and results.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effectiveness of Memrise learning media in learning Maharah Kitabah Arabic at MTs Al-Hidayah Batu. This is based on technological developments. To achieve the goal, the author uses quantitative research methods with experimental design. The research subjects in this study were class IX students of MTS SA AL-HIDAYAH Batu City. The population in this study was class IX students at MTS SA AL-HIDAYAH, Batu City, totaling 22 students. The instrument used is a test. Data resulting from statistical analysis used the t-test to determine the significance of the difference in pre-test and post-test averages. The results of the research show that the effectiveness of Memrise learning media is in increasing the ability to understand the Arabic book of MTs Al-Hidayah Batu. Based on the T test of 0.9781 > 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between Increasing the Ability to Maharah Kitabah and the use of conventional media. Apart from that, the average difference between the pretest and posttest in the experimental class was 31.3636. Meanwhile, the average difference between the pretest and posttest in the control class was 36.8182. This indicates that the use of memrise learning media is an effective alternative for improving the ability to understand the Book of the Bible.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies implemented by PT. Annur Maknah Wisata Tour & Travel in increasing public interest in Hajj and Umrah services. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. The informants consist of company management, marketing staff, customers, and prospective pilgrims. The findings reveal that PT. Annur Maknah Wisata’s marketing strategy focuses on three main aspects: digital promotion through social media, personalized and transparent customer service, and strengthening the company’s reputation and credibility as a professional and trustworthy travel agency. These strategies effectively enhance public interest and trust, as indicated by the annual increase in the number of pilgrims and customer loyalty. Supporting factors include competent human resources and extensive partnership networks, while the main challenges involve intense competition among travel agencies and economic fluctuations. The limitation of this study lies in its focus on a single company, which restricts the generalizability of the findings. The novelty of this research lies in its exploration of Islamic marketing practices grounded in spiritual values and worship-oriented service, offering insights for the development of marketing strategies within the religious travel service sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Kahoot application that can be used as a digital-based assessment. The objective to be achieved in this study is how the evaluation of Arabic language learning based on digital assessment with the Kahoot application is carried out, this study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach. To describe and connect the problems with the theories that have been described, so as to produce solutions for each existing problem. Data collection techniques used observation and questionnaires. The selected research observation was PPBA University of Muhammadiyah Malang. For data analysis, the researcher used the process of presenting data and then drawing conclusions. From the results of student perceptions, it shows that the Kahoot application can be used as a digital assessment in the evaluation of Arabic language learning Maharah Istima'. Based on the results of the questionnaire that has been distributed, the use of the Kahoot application as an interesting application for evaluating Arabic language learning Maharah Istima' received a positive response with an interesting category with a percentage value of 33.3%, responses with an interesting category got a value of 60%, the rest of the responses with an ordinary category got a value of 7%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development and effectiveness of the QuizWhizzer learning media in improving writing skills (maharah kitabah) in Arabic language learning at Ma'had Salafi. The background of this study departs from the problem of low student interest and participation in Arabic language learning which is still dominated by conventional text-based methods. To address this challenge, this study developed a game-based learning media using the QuizWhizzer application as an interactive and fun digital innovation. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments consisted of validation sheets from media experts and material experts, as well as teacher and student response questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively to assess the level of validity and feasibility of the media. The results showed that the average value of material validity reached 66.7% (quite valid), while the average media feasibility was 82.3% (feasible). The aspect that received the highest score was media usability (85.6%), indicating that QuizWhizzer is easy to use and effective in supporting the learning process. The use of QuizWhizzer has been proven to increase students' motivation, active engagement, and ability to write Arabic texts through interactive, competition-based exercises. Therefore, it can be concluded that QuizWhizzer is a suitable and effective innovative learning tool for improving students' ability to recite Arabic texts. This tool not only enriches teachers' learning strategies but also serves as a relevant tool for integrating digital technology and gamification into Arabic language learning in the Ma'had environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of Book Creator-based digital learning media in improving students' reading skills (Maharah Qira'ah) at the university level. The background of this study is based on the low level of media innovation in Arabic language learning, which is still conventional and textbook-centered, resulting in students being less motivated and quickly feeling bored. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were postgraduate students of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The results of the validation test showed that the Book Creator media obtained a validity score of 66.7% with the category of "quite valid", while the practicality test obtained an average score of 66.7% with the category of "quite practical". These findings indicate that Book Creator is suitable for use as an alternative digital-based learning media in the Maharah Qira'ah course, because it is able to combine text, images, and audio interactively to increase student engagement and motivation to learn. However, further improvements are needed in the aspects of visual design, audio quality, and learning evaluation to make the media more effective and comprehensive

Abstract

Penelitian Kajian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menelaah konsep pendidikan karakter menurut pandangan Al-Qur’an. Pendekatan yang terimplementasi bersifat kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research), yakni melalui penelusuran mendalam terhadap sejumlah sumber tertulis seperti buku dan referensi ilmiah yang relevan dengan topik yang diteliti. Bahan pustaka yang dikaji mencakup karya-karya yang membahas pembentukan karakter dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an serta kitab-kitab tafsir yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan tema tersebut. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan tekstual dan tafsiriyah untuk mengungkap kandungan makna dari ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konsep pendidikan karakter (akhlāq al-karīmah) dalam tafsir Al-Qur’an tidak semata-mata berorientasi pada aspek intelektual atau capaian akademik, tetapi juga menitikberatkan pada pembinaan moral dan sikap etis sebagai landasan pembentukan kepribadian menuju sosok insān kāmil yang berlandaskan ketakwaan. Pendekatan pendidikan karakter yang digariskan Al-Qur’an mencakup metode bimbingan berupa nasihat dan perintah, metode naratif melalui kisah, serta keteladanan perilaku. sehingga, konsep pendidikan karakter dalam tafsir Al-Qur’an menegaskan urgensi proses pembelajaran yang berpijak pada nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an serta petunjuk sunnah, sebagai sarana membentuk manusia yang berakhlak mulia dan berkepribadian Qur’ani.

Abstract

"Understanding the Prophet's hadith is not only about textual transmission, but also about the practice and spirit of the teachings. The Prophet's hadith always contain important messages that are inseparable from the Prophet's presence and position as the Messenger of the Ummah. However, today, the Prophet's hadith seems to be practiced only in formal settings, such as the Prophet's dress, use of the siwak, and so on. In fact, the Prophet's hadith contain a strong moral message, concern, and agenda for social change. This article poses three questions: what is the concept of social empowerment contained in the hadith? What is the historical context of the hadith regarding social empowerment? And how can we contextualize the hadith regarding social empowerment?. This article uses a hermeneutical analysis of hadith, exploring the meaning of social empowerment in the hadith and its relevance to today's context. Using this analytical method, several findings emerge: (a) Matan أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ؟ قَالَ: ‌عَمَلُ ‌الرَّجُلِ gives the message that humans need to rely on their potential in working and improving their lives. The wording of the hadith اذْهَبْ فَاحْتَطِبْ gives the message that humans need to eliminate the inlander mentality, begging and throwing away social prestige; (b) the hadith has a historical context of Arab reality in the form of social classes giving birth to a society with a marginal, low mentality, loss of life spirit and the proliferation of the inlander mentality and begging. (c) The contextual meaning of the hadith regarding social empowerment is relevant to today's conditions, where the phrase "'Amal Rajul Biyadihi'" can be interpreted as doing anything, whether manual labor or soft work (office work), to meet the necessities of life. Another message is that a weak mentality and the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) are important to eliminate. Humans must be close to social reality and grow stronger from the social issues they face.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) 101 concerning the Presentation of Islamic Financial Statements in Islamic cooperatives in Medan City. The research focuses on four main aspects recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure of financial statements. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed to explore in depth the experiences, understanding, and perceptions of Islamic cooperative managers in applying PSAK 101. The research subjects consist of three Islamic microfinance institutions: BMT Masyarakat Madani Sumatera Utara, BMT Al-Musabbihin, and BMT Mandiri Abadi Syariah. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that the implementation of PSAK 101 in the three Islamic cooperatives remains suboptimal. In terms of recognition, the temporary syirkah funds have not been properly segregated. Regarding measurement, all cooperatives still use the historical cost basis without asset revaluation as required by PSAK 16. In presentation, financial statements only include the balance sheet, income statement, and changes in equity, while the other seven components required by PSAK 101 are not presented. The disclosure aspect is also weak, as there are no notes to the financial statements and several account classifications are incorrect. The limited implementation of PSAK 101 is influenced by a lack of understanding among management regarding Islamic accounting standards, insufficient technical training, and limited human resources with expertise in Islamic accounting. This study recommends strengthening Islamic accounting training, developing PSAK 101-based accounting software, and enhancing the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board in ensuring compliance with Sharia principles.

Abstract

Abstract This study examines the practice of reciting Shalawat Simtudduror and the role of Majelis Taklim Berkah Sekumpul in fostering the spiritual and social development of the community in Lubuk Bayas Village, Serdang Bedagai. Established in 2012 under the leadership of Al-Ustadz Arbanik, the majelis has grown into a center of Islamic learning grounded in an unbroken chain of scholarly transmission (sanad) linked to Banjar ulama and Abah Guru Sekumpul. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation and interviews with 17 regular participants, the research reveals that the majelis conducts various religious activities, including the recitation of Simtudduror, study circles on fiqh, creed, and Sufism, as well as religious education for children. The tradition of reciting Simtudduror serves as a powerful spiritual, emotional, and social instrument that cultivates values of mahabbah (love for the Prophet) and tazkiyah al-nafs (purification of the soul). Its poetic and deeply meaningful verses strengthen inner peace, social cohesion, and the internalization of prophetic ethics among the congregation. The study concludes that Majelis Taklim Berkah Sekumpul not only preserves shalawat traditions and scholarly lineage but also functions as a space for spiritual development, moral education, and the reinforcement of the community’s religious identity.
