Abstract

Considering that Webtoon is an innovative media in teaching reading comprehension. And The Question Is How can the use of English comic improve the ability of students?. Teachers should know how to use Webtoon and how to connect students into virtual classroom that can give some advantages either for teacher or students. For teacher, social application like Webtoon can make teachers help students to interested and teach how to use their android, computer and their free time by reading. It can be suitable process where the process of teaching and learning is not limited to classroom for meeting only. For students, it can be new experience for them to learn digitally and virtually. This strategy supported by researchers. The research design of this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the design research, because it attempts to overcome students’ problem in their teaching-learning activities. There are 2 cycles to get a good score to test student, the first is Cycle 1 Quality Time that contains post-test webtoon, the second is Cycle 2 Good As New that contains evaluation webtoon. accordance with the objective of the research was to improve students’ ability in speaking through the use of English comic. The results of this research on English subjects can be concluded that English learning is still conventional, In post-test of cycle 1, the results were established from quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitatively, the students score were improved but still categorized unsuccessful because only 11 students who improved and passed the MPG. In post-test of cycle 2, the results of the research were gained from both quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitatively, it showed the students got higher score of pronunciation test after using this technique. There are 31 students were categorized successful and passed the MPG. It means that the students’ speaking ability was improved. The data also strengthened by the qualitative data from the observation and the interview with the students and the teacher. It shows that they feel more better in speaking using comic webtoon as media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna merancang media cerita bergambar ’Ciko Gemar Literasi’ untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi membaca siswa di sekolah dasar. ’Ciko Gemar Literasi’ merupakan media cerita bergambar yang berisi kisah edukatif anak dengan materi teks dongeng untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (RnD) dengan model ADDIE. Adapun langkah-langkah dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 1.) analyze 2.) design, 3.) development, 4.) implementtaion, dan 5.) evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, angket, dan tes. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan skala likert dan perhitungan skor N-gain. Adapun populasi penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas 3 di SD Negeri 2 Gebangangkrik dengan sampel jenuh atau menggunakan seluruh anggota populasi sebagai sampel. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media memperoleh nilai validitas yang valid, yaitu pada validasi materi sebesar 94 dan media sebesar 86,66. Media ini memperoleh nilai kepraktisan sebesar 95,59 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tes, media ’Ciko Gemar Literasi’ memiliki tingkat keefektifan tinggi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi yaitu dengan perolehan skor N-gain sebesar 0,82.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine academic supervision strategies in problems solving teacher performance on language learning. The research approach used is qualitative research. The research subjects were madrasah supervisors, madrasah heads, and teachers. The research was carried out on the supervision activities of madrasa supervisors at MI Darussalam Sambiroto Baron Nganjuk. The research results show that problems with teacher performance on language learning include low teacher professionalism due to the mismatch between teachers' academic qualifications and their professional duties. There are teachers whose academic qualifications are non-Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education and are forced to become class teachers and teach general subjects. This condition results in less effective learning management and teachers experience difficulties in planning, implementing and assessing of language learning. Efforts to solve teacher performance problems on language learning are carried out by supervision with coaching and mentoring by the MI head or madrasah supervisor. The academic supervision strategies that has been implemented is class visits and regular teacher meetings. Apart from that, MI heads or madrasah supervisors can apply clinical supervision techniques to solve teacher performance problems on language learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk memberikan pengantar tentang konsep pemanfaatan game edukasi di gadget untuk perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Menjelaskan mengapa topik ini penting dan relevan dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Metode Penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Literatur Review. Hasil penelusuran ditemukan sebanyak 68 judul artikel yang di sajikan sejak tahun 2017 – 2023, screening artikel yang sesuai dengan tema dan subjek yang akan di bahas dan di temukan 10 artikel. Proses penelusuran ini menggunakan Google schoolar, Jurnal- jurnal Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, Portal Garuda dan DOAJ. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa dengan menyajikan materi pembelajaran secara menarik, mainan edukasi dapat membantu membentuk sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran, maka penggunaan mainan edukasi di gadget dapat memberikan stimulasi untuk berbagai aspek perkembangan anak, termasuk perkembangan kognitif, motorik, bahasa, sosial, dan emosional. Mainan edukasi di gadget harusnya menyajikan konten yang sesuai, mainan edukasi dapat membantu anak mengembangkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan secara holistik. Pemanfaatannya dilihat sebagai cara untuk membuat pembelajaran menjadi pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan berkesinambungan bagi anak.

Abstract

Another fact that was discovered was the low average daily mathematics test scores in one of the State Vocational Schools. This fact influences mathematics learning and the greatest difficulty is carrying out mathematical communication and problem solving on the questions given. The following is the average value of daily tests on Opportunity material for the last three years at SMKN. To respond to the problem of students' low mathematical communication skills, the enormous demand for progress in science and technology, it is very necessary to make changes to the learning process, especially the selection of appropriate mathematics teaching materials. One example is developing an Android-based teaching material or mobile learning. The use of smartphones in learning allows students to carry out learning activities by accessing learning materials, directions and information anywhere and at any time without limited space and time. Mobile Learning also overcomes time constraints and is able to train students to learn independently from various sources. Students whose learning received procedural scaffolding with the help of smartphones were better than students who received conventional learning. This mobile learning teaching material is said to be effective based on student response questionnaire data and mathematical communication test results data obtained. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 95% with the criteria of being very effective for use in learning. Meanwhile, the percentage of learning completion results was 98% with a very high learning completion interval. The use of mobile learning teaching materials has an influence on students' mathematical communication skills. The average score of the experimental class students' mathematical communication ability test results in each school was higher than the control class. The average score for the experimental class at SMKN 1 Rejotangan was 85.00 while the average score for the control class was 76.15. The average score for the experimental class at SMKN 1 Boyolangu was 85.64, while the average score for the control class was 78.62. The average score for the experimental class at SMKN 2 Tulungagung was 82.79 while the average score for the control class was 75.99. After comparison and analysis, it was concluded that there was a difference in the test results of students' mathematical communication skills between the classes given the action and the control class.

Abstract

Learning media has a very important role as part of learning. Without using media, the learning process cannot take place optimally. The use of video-based learning media as a student learning resource in PAI learning that takes place in the classroom can stimulate students' creativity and enthusiasm to participate in learning. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and data collection through literature reviews. The results of this research are the impact of using video media on teachers, including encouraging teachers to use media more creatively, it is easier for teachers to explain subjects, teachers can save more energy when explaining material, and teachers can learn more about the material in the video. the. In addition, the use of video-based learning environments can also encourage active and collaborative learning. Students can directly interact with the video, for example by answering questions, discussing or watching simulation videos.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the concept of developing project-based evaluation in PAI learning. This research adopts a qualitative approach, which is an examination or investigation method that uses logical reasoning and analysis. Researchers use information data from various theories obtained through library research. The type of research applied is librarianship, which is based on documents such as books, scientific books, articles, magazines, and so on which can be accessed in libraries. Based on the results of literature research, it can be concluded that in integrating the concept of project-based evaluation development in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, it can be concluded that this approach brings significant benefits to the learning process. Project-based evaluation not only measures students' understanding of Islamic teachings, but also involves them in practical activities that enable the application of these concepts in everyday life. By implementing projects that are relevant to the context of students' lives, this kind of evaluation not only assesses cognitive, but also aspects of religious practice, ethics and morality. Thus, the concept of developing project-based evaluation provides a holistic approach in assessing the understanding and application of Islamic religious values in students' real lives, which in turn can improve the quality of PAI learning and form a generation that has a strong commitment to Islamic religious teachings

Abstract

Peran guru pendidikan agama islam dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik memegang peranan yang penting. Guru PAI tidak hanya menjadi figur sentral dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik, melainkan juga memiliki tanggung jawab utama dalam mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, dan melatih mereka agar menjadi individu yang beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak mulia, berilmu, dan bertanggung jawab. Penguatan moral menjadi fokus utama guru PAI, yang memerlukan pemahaman mendalam tentang karakter dan moral. Selain itu, guru PAI harus memanfaatkan strategi dan metode yang sesuai untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan karakter, yaitu membentuk peserta didik yang memiliki karakter positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi peran guru PAI dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik serta menganalisis upaya yang diterapkan guru PAI dalam penguatan moral. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI berfungsi sebagai teladan dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik dengan mengajarkan nilai-nilai keagamaan dan memberikan pemahaman tentang moral. Selain itu, guru PAI juga bertanggung jawab dalam membimbing peserta didik untuk memiliki kepedulian sosial, empati, dan kemampuan berakhlak yang baik. Penguatan moral, terutama dalam konteks era saat ini, menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi krisis moral yang sering terjadi, terutama di Indonesia. Dalam usaha penguatan moral, guru diharapkan menjadi teladan, sesuai dengan makna istilah "mu’addib" dalam Bahasa Arab, yang merujuk pada individu beradab yang memiliki peran dalam membangun peradaban berkualitas di masa depan. Guru diharapkan mampu memberikan pendidikan kepada peserta didik, mendorong kreativitas, mengelola hasil kreasinya, dan menjaga keseimbangan untuk kemaslahatan umum tanpa menimbulkan kerusakan bagi diri sendiri, masyarakat, dan alam

Abstract

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran mendalam untuk membentuk karakter siswa sebagai pembelajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah studi kepustakaan (Library Research) yang dimana segala data-data yang diperoleh dari pengumpulan berbagai referensi baik dari buku, jurnal, artikel, serta berbagai sumber lainnya yang dianggap memiliki keterkaitan dengan permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Pembelajaran mendalam merupakan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan kekuatan kemitraan baru untuk melibatkan para siswa dalam mempraktekkan proses pembelajaran melalui menemukan dan menguasai pengetahuan yang ada dan kemudian menciptakan serta menggunakan pengetahuan baru di dunia sehingga hasil dari pembelajaran mendalam berupaya pada peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang kelebihan dan kelemahannya, pengumpulan data mengenai informasi profil siswa dan pembangunan nilai kepercayaan diantara anggota kelompok belajar siswa.

Abstract

The shift from face-to-face learning in the classroom to online learning supported by various digital platforms makes educators have to adapt quickly. Various online platforms that educators can use to facilitate and maximize online learning such as Zoom Meeting, Google Meet, Gather Town. The use of gather town as one of the online platforms using 2D-based avatars. This article aims to describe the Gather Town platform as an Interactive Learning Media in the Metaverse Era, which is the era of merging the real and virtual worlds into one complex ecosystem. To describe this, the author conducts a literature study by collecting various reference sources / literature data from various relevant scientific journal sources for the last 6 years, namely from 2018-2023. The results show that the use of the Gather Town platform helps educators and learners in supporting the realization of interactive and fun learning so that educators and learners can learn while having experience in operating digital platforms. In addition, the Gather Town platform is quite easy to operate and supported by various attractive templates, as well as users can choose and customize the desired 2D avatar and facilitate collaborative learning without having to breakout rooms.
