Education is very necessary to increase mental health literacy among teenagers. Education using flash cards as a medium for socialization is an interesting way. It is hoped that the knowledge and skills provided through simple and interesting media will be able to increase adolescent literacy regarding adolescent mental health. With the right service method, flashcards can be accessed by more teenagers and provide significant benefits for increasing mental health literacy. This service activity is carried out as an implementation of the tridharma of higher education which involves a service team and involves students in its implementation. So this activity can also be used to support the main performance indicators of higher education, especially involving lecturers and students outside the campus. The methods used in this service activity are FGD, lectures, discussions, demonstrations and practice with teenagers and teachers. The results of the community service that had been carried out were that before the education was carried out, the majority were in the fair category, 44 people (73.4%), and after the education and socialization of mental health literacy flashcards for teenagers, the majority were in the good category, namely 30 people (50%).. It can be seen from the increase in average literacy before and after being given education with a difference in mean literacy of 6.917. It is hoped that the use of these flash cards will continue to be provided by the school on an ongoing basis to be able to monitor the mental health status of teenagers.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) has grown increasingly modern, expanding the demand for information. One effective way to provide optimal services to the public is through fast and accurate information delivery, which can be achieved by implementing information systems, particularly in healthcare services. However, not all aspects of healthcare services, such as elderly health posts (Posyandu Lansia), have adopted information systems to assist in real-time health monitoring. The elderly population is at high risk of developing various health conditions, such as hypertension, arthritis, rheumatism, and tuberculosis, which require routine care and monitoring. Therefore, this community service initiative aims to implement a health monitoring information system for the elderly using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach, enabling both the elderly and their families to monitor health effectively. The community service methods involve providing education on elderly health, raising awareness about the importance of health monitoring, and implementing and supporting the use of the information system among the elderly and their families. As a result of this program, the elderly gained knowledge about health and the importance of regular health monitoring. Furthermore, both the elderly and their families are now able to conduct health monitoring through the Elderly Health Monitoring Information System (SIP Lansia).

Abstract

Holistic Integrative (HI) for the implementation of IKM at the kindergarten/early childhood education/playgroup level and equivalent, which focuses on the development of student learning outcomes encompassing competencies (literacy and numeracy) and character, will still be mandatory to implement by 2024 at the latest. The PKM program will provide opportunities for lecturers in the fifth IKU, namely the Work Results of Lecturers Used by the Community, by designing experiential learning methods using supporting Educational Play Tools (APE) as learning media to be developed to support students' financial literacy skills in management. Financial literacy and aspects of the physical and non-physical/social environment are important components of life. Both interact with each other in daily life, especially regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of energy use, which impacts the family's financial allocation. This helps accelerate the transformation from the 2013 Curriculum and/or the 2013 Emergency Curriculum to the IKM.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth and development disorder experienced by children due to chronic nutritional deficiencies, one of the causes of which is inadequate nutrition and repeated infections during the first 1000 days of a child's life. Acceleration in reducing stunting can be done by optimizing existing resources, one of them is by optimizing the role of posyandu cadres through growth monitoring training and education related to nutritional fulfillment during 1000 HPK. This community service activity aims to improve the competence of cadres in early detection of stunting and understanding the importance of 1000 HPK in preventing stunting. The method of implementing community service is carried out in 3 stages, namely the preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The educational media used are in the form of slideshows and leaflets. The evaluation of this community service activity is through the provision of a pre-post test questionnaire. From the results of the activity evaluation, the knowledge of cadres has increased after participating in toddler growth monitoring training and 100 HPK nutrition education. Empowerment of posyandu cadres in the form of increasing knowledge or training provided can improve the knowledge, skills, and motivation of cadres to play an active role in preventing or overcoming stunted toddlers in Indonesia.

Abstract

Antibiotics are drugs used to treat bacterial infections. Irrational use of antibiotics without a doctor's prescription causes antibiotic resistance. West Nusa Tenggara province is ranked sixth with the largest number of antibiotic consumption without a doctor's prescription so the incidence of antibiotic resistance increases. This community service aims to provide antibiotic resistance education to high school students in Selong District. The community service method was carried out at SMAN 1 Selong and SMAN 2 Selong which started with pretest, socialization, and posttest activities to measure students' knowledge of antibiotic resistance before and after socialization. The significance test of changes in students' knowledge levels before and after socialization was conducted using a paired sample t-test. The socialization participants from SMAN 1 Selong and SMAN 2 Selong consisted of 141 high school students in grade XI with an average age of 16. The pretest and posttest data analysis showed that students' knowledge levels regarding antibiotic resistance increased from 41% to 59% at SMAN 1 Selong and 42% to 58% at SMAN 2 Selong after socialization. The average value of students' knowledge about antibiotic resistance increased from 10.04 points to 14.73 points for SMAN 1 Selong and 10.33 points to 14.16 points for SMAN 2 Selong after the socialization was given from a total of 17 maximum points that could be obtained. The results of data analysis using paired sample t-test showed a significant difference (p<0.05) in the average level of student knowledge before and after the socialization activity was carried out. Thus, the antibiotic resistance socialization activity has successfully increased student knowledge in Selong District, especially at SMAN 1 Selong and SMAN 2 Selong effectively.

Abstract

Liver cancer or Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading causes of death in the world. Right upper quadrant abdominal pain is the most commonly reported as a symptom. This can be caused by structural and functional changes in the peripheral and central nervous system that cause increased pain perception in patients and can affect the patient's quality of life. One of the treatments that nurses can provide is the provision of non-pharmacological therapy. The purpose of this case study is to provide nursing care for pain management in HCC patients through the nursing process. Participants in this case study were only one person diagnosed with HCC. The instrument used to measure pain scale is Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The intervention provided is a soft and smooth massage given as long as pain appears in the leg and back area, carried out for 10-30 minutes when pain appears which is given for 4 days. The results of the evaluation showed that there was a decrease in the pain scale, namely before the VAS intervention 7-8 and after the VAS intervention to 4-6. This shows that the Touch massage technique can reduce pain levels in HCC patients.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity was conducted with the Coastal Women Entrepreneurs Joint Business Group (Kube) located on the coast of Labuhan Haji, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Over the past two years, the partners' businesses have not shown significant growth due to limited knowledge and skills. This situation is evident in the partners' inability to create innovative products. The products sold by the partners are processed foods with short shelf life, resulting in low sales value. Furthermore, the partners faced challenges in product marketing, which was limited to their business premises, with a limited target audience of visitors/tourists. To address this issue, the Community Service (PKM) Team of the Muhammadiyah Selong Institute of Social and Health Technology (ITSKes) provided solutions in the form of workshops and mentoring on entrepreneurship, digital marketing using websites and social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), and label design using the Canva app. In addition to the workshops, practical work on making fish floss and fish crackers was also conducted. The goal of these solutions was to create product diversity and expand product marketing. The impact of implementing technology and innovation for partners can transform conventional business activities into digital entrepreneurship, the process of managing a business using digital technology

Abstract

North Bonde Village is one of the villages that is a stunting locus in Majene Regency. The high number of stunting is caused by the low use of local food by the community. The purpose of this service is to increase the knowledge and skills of KPM and the community in making local food -based MP ASI innovations, which are also an independent effort to reduce stunting numbers. Mitra in this service activity is KPM and mothers who have toddlers, as many as 40 participants. PKM activities are carried out in the form of education and cooked demonstrations. The implementation of activities is divided into 3 stages, namely the education preparation phase, the implementation stage of the activity and then the third stage of the evaluation of the implementation of the activity. The results of the pre-post test obtained related to knowledge about the practice of providing the right MP-ASI/snacks that is before being given education is identified that most participants answered wrong (55.8%), after education the results of post-test knowledge increased by 50%so that an increase in correct answers was 94.2%. Then the results of the cooking demonstration are assessed objectively by looking at the processed MP-ASI results, all participants (100%) are able to make processed MP-ASI that are demonstrated. Local Food -Based Cooking Education and Demo is proven to be effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of mothers of toddlers, so it is recommended to be replicated in other stunting locus areas as an independent effort to accelerate stunting decreases.
