Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country. Indonesia's soil structure is fertile and has a tropical climate. Cayenne pepper is a horticultural crop cultivated by farmers. Cayenne pepper production fluctuates from year to year. The leading cause of the lack of cayenne pepper production is land. Efforts are needed to increase production, one of which is intensifying fertilization. One of the liquid organic fertilizers is organic fertilizer from eggshells. Egg shells can be used as an organic fertilizer because they contain nutrients such as calcium carbonate, nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus. One alternative provider of nutrients for plants is sugar cane bagasse. Sugarcane bagasse contains the elements Carbon (C), Nitrogen (N, Phosphate (P), Potassium (K), Sodium (Na), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Iron (Fe), and Manganese (Mn). Research This study aims to see the effect of liquid organic fertilizer made from egg shells and sugar cane bagasse on the growth of cayenne pepper. This research also aims to study and determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer made from egg shells and sugar cane bagasse on the growth of cayenne pepper. Liquid made from egg shells and bagasse is the best for the growth of cayenne pepper. Research shows that treating liquid organic fertilizer with egg shells and bagasse affects the weight, length, weight per plot, and number of cayenne peppers planted. However, it does not significantly affect the lifespan of cayenne pepper flowers. An 80% concentration treatment of liquid organic fertilizer from egg shells and bagasse showed the best results.

Abstract

Fluctuations in productivity over the past five years raise questions about factors influencing employee performance, including human resources, information technology, operational processes, and policies. This study investigates the impact of the work environment and employee loyalty on productivity, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable, within the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Jember Regency.  Using a causal-comparative approach, primary data were collected from 103 employees through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via WarpPLS. The findings reveal that both the work environment and employee loyalty significantly enhance productivity, directly and indirectly, through organizational commitment. Additionally, organizational commitment significantly mediated these relationships, demonstrating its critical role. These results underscore the importance of creating a supportive and conducive work environment and fostering employee loyalty to improve overall productivity. The implications suggest that the department should focus on enhancing work conditions, providing recognition and rewards, and ensuring effective communication to boost employee commitment and productivity, contributing to the organization’s success. This research offers valuable insights for organizational management to develop strategies that enhance employee engagement and efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze respondents' perceptions of integrity, objectivity, independence, and audit quality, as well as how these factors interact and affect audit quality. Based on the analysis results, it was found that respondents' perceptions of integrity, objectivity, independence, and audit quality were in the satisfactory category. The instrument testing showed that the research instruments have very good validity and reliability and are suitable for use in this study. The results of the moderating regression analysis indicate that integrity and independence have a significant impact on audit quality. Furthermore, it was found that independence can significantly enhance the relationship between integrity and audit quality. Conversely, the results show that objectivity partially does not affect audit quality, and independence does not strengthen the relationship between objectivity and audit quality. These findings provide important insights for audit practices, highlighting the importance of integrity and independence in improving audit quality, while the role of objectivity needs to be further reviewed to understand its insignificant impact.
