Abstract

This research aims to identify the influence of task load, student engagement, and new student selection on the learning achievement of students at SMP Negeri 63 Batam. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach. The population of this study includes of all 220 seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 63 Batam. Data were collected through questionnairesand analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result of the study indicated that task load, student engagement, and new student selection have a positive and significant effect on students learning achievement with an F value of 130.513 > F table value of 2.646 and a significance level of < 0.001. This research is expected to contribute to the improvement of strategies and the quality of education more effectively at SMP Negeri 63 Batam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and compensation on employee performance in Nongsa Subdistrict, Batam City with loyalty as an intervening variable. and also examine the effect of loyalty on employee performance, as well as the role of loyalty as an intervening variable in the relationship between motivation and performance, as well as between compensation and employee performance. The research method used is quantitative with the number of respondents as many as 111 employees in the Nongsa District. Data analysis was carried out using SEM PLS SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the analysis show that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance and loyalty. Loyalty also has a significant effect on employee performance. Motivation has a significant effect on employee performance and loyalty. In addition, loyalty mediates the effect of motivation on employee performance and the effect of compensation on employee performance. All relationships studied show a significant effect, indicating that both compensation and motivation play an important role in improving employee performance through increased loyalty. The results of this study are expected to provide a comprehensive insight into how motivation and compensation can influence employee performance and loyalty, as well as the importance of loyalty as a mediating factor in these relationships.

Abstract

Coworking space is a shared workspace that is used as a place for startup workers, freelancers, and remote workers to support activities and increase work productivity. The high level of competition in the creative industry followed by a growing market share makes Coworking space in Bandung need to improve the atmosphere and quality of service to maintain its existence and grow. Coworking space users or consumers have increased from year to year causing entrepreneurs to compete for potential customers. This study aims to help coworking space entrepreneurs to find out the characteristics of coworking space users in the city of Bandung and the effect of atmosphere and service quality on customer satisfaction. The research method uses descriptive and analytical quantitative methods. Non probability sampling technique using purposive sampling with Lemeshow formula. The research data used primary data obtained through questionnaires from 141 respondents and secondary data obtained from literature studies. Data processing using IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0. The results of the analysis show that the atmosphere and quality of coworking space services have a positive and significant effect both simultaneously and partially on customer satisfaction in Bandung City. And obtained multiple regression equation Y = 5.084 + 0.151X1 + 0.347X2 where Y shows customer satisfaction, X1 shows the atmosphere, and X2  shows the quality of service.

Abstract

In the digital economy era, the application of information and communication technology is the main support for MSMEs to improve operational efficiency. This study uses a systematic literature review method to review and analyze literature related to the adoption of digital technology in MSMEs. The results show that digital applications such as inventory management systems, e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and financial applications can significantly improve the operational efficiency of MSMEs. However, the adoption of these technologies still faces barriers such as limited resources, lack of technical knowledge, and minimal infrastructure support. To encourage the adoption of digital technology, it is necessary to improve digital literacy, financial support, and strengthen infrastructure. Case studies show the success of MSMEs that have adopted digital technology in increasing sales and operational efficiency. This research provides practical recommendations for MSMEs, government, and other stakeholders in supporting MSME digitalization, which in turn is expected to contribute to the acceleration of the digital economy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Information technology can expand access to tax information, simplify the process of reporting and paying taxes, and provide various educational platforms that can be accessed by all levels of society so that it is expected to increase compliance in carrying out tax obligations. This study aims to analyse the effect of seminars, workshops, and social media campaigns on increasing tax compliance at the Tegalega Bandung Tax Office (KPP). The research method used is quantitative method using a questionnaire processed through regression and correlation analysis, as well as reliability and validity tests. The questionnaire was distributed to individual taxpayers with 100 respondents registered at the Tegalega Bandung Tax Office. The results showed that the regression coefficient value of 0.45 for seminars, 0.35 for workshops, and 0.30 for social media campaigns, indicating that every one unit increase in taxpayers' perceptions of the three variables is associated with a significant increase in tax compliance. A significance level of less than 0.05 indicates that these results are statistically significant. The correlation coefficient values indicate a positive and significant relationship between the three variables and tax compliance, with seminars having the highest correlation, followed by workshops and social media campaigns. Overall, seminars, workshops and social media campaigns each contributed positively to increasing taxpayers' knowledge and awareness of the importance of paying taxes on time.

Abstract

This research is based on the influence of leadership which aims to test and analyze the influence of spiritual leadership, work motivation and non-physical work environment on the performance of regional office employees of the Ministry of Religion of Maluku Province. This research is causal associative research. which is intended to reveal problems that are causal relationships between two or more variables. In this research there are independent variables (which influence) and dependent variables (which are influenced). This research only discusses the influence of Leadership, Motivation, Work Environment on this research which has been determined, so this type of research is quantitative research.spiritual leadership on the performance of employees of the Maluku Province Regional Office of Religion. The spiritual leadership variable has a calculated t value of 4.563. This value is greater than the t table. In addition, the Sig value is 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of statistical tests, spiritual leadership has a significant influence on the performance of employees of the Maluku Province Religious Regional Office, so Hypothesis 1 «It is suspected that there is a partial influence of spiritual leadership on the performance of employees of the Maluku Province Religious Regional Office» is empirically accepted and proven in this research. Also in line with Silalahi and Lubis' research, they conducted research entitled the influence of spiritual leadership on employee performance through Islamic spirituality. With the research results, leaders with good spirituality who form Islamic spirituality in the workplace improve the performance of lecturers and staff. The application of this research will be carried out at Medan City Universities. In addition, the Sig value is 0.002 < 0.05. Based on the results of statistical tests, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on the performance of employees at the Religious Regional Office of Maluku Province, thus Hypothesis 2 «It is suspected that there is a partial influence between work motivation on the performance of employees at the Religious Regional Office of Maluku Province» is accepted. empirical and proven in this research. Abstract

Blockchain, as a decentralized and secure technology, has the potential to address some of the key challenges faced by organizations in managing HR, such as transparency, data security, and process automation. This research aims to explore and analyze the potential use of blockchain technology in the context of human resource management (HR). This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods The research results show that the use of Blockchain technology in human resource management (HR) has a significant positive impact. This technology successfully synchronizes and decentralizes financial records and employee personal data, increasing security, transparency and efficiency in various aspects of HR. Blockchain implementation reduces the risk of fraud, non-transparency and cyber threats in the recruitment process, credential verification, attendance management and financial management. The high security provided by Blockchain, supported by cryptography, makes transactions and payments safer, while the use of this technology provides a solid foundation for efficient and trusted HR management in the digital era. The results of this research highlight Blockchain's strategic role in shaping an innovative and sustainable future for the HR function.

Abstract

The presence of bank financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions means that people have many alternative choices of providers of financial capital. The community is given freedom and flexibility in determining financial institutions that suit their needs and capabilities in repaying loan funds to help with financial needs. This was utilized by BRI and Pegadaian Nunukan. This research aims to determine the mechanism for lending funds to BRI and Pegadaian Nunukan Branch, and to determine the effectiveness of lending funds between BRI and Pegadaian Nunukan Branch. This research is qualitative research, using observation, interviews and documentation as data collection methods. The data obtained was then compared using descriptive comparative methods. The results of this research can be concluded that BRI and Pegadaian Nunukan Branch have their respective advantages. Pegadaian has the advantage of lower interest and fines compared to BRI. Meanwhile, BRI has the advantage of a larger loan limit, namely up to 50 million, can be repaid in a maximum of 5 years and without using collateral. If a customer wants to apply for a loan of 10 million or less, the Nunukan Branch Pegadaian will be more effective for borrowing funds because the interest at the Nunukan Branch Pegadaian is lower compared to the BRI Nunukan Branch. Apart from interest, the fines charged if customers are late in paying installments are also lower than BRI Nunukan Branch.

Abstract

In a dynamic business environment, effective strategic planning becomes critical to achieving optimal marketing performance. However, many companies face challenges in effectively managing and evaluating their marketing strategies. Marketing performance monitoring applications (MPMA) offer a solution by providing real-time data that enables quick and precise monitoring, analysis, and adjustment of marketing strategies. This research examines the role of MPMA in improving strategic planning through a literature review and analysis of empirical data from various studies covering various industry sectors. The results show that companies using MPMA can improve their financial performance by optimizing marketing strategies, identifying marketing opportunities, and allocating resources more efficiently. Although there are challenges in MPMA implementation, such as technical integration and resistance to change, the benefits are far greater. With adequate training and management support, companies can overcome these challenges and fully utilize the potential of MPMA to improve their strategic planning and marketing performance. In conclusion, MPMA is an important tool that can help companies become more responsive and adaptive to market changes, providing a significant competitive advantage in an increasingly complex business environment.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Global Reporting Initiative, Sustainability Accounting Standard Board and Carbon Emission disclose simultaneously on Sustainable Development Goals in sustainable reporting of Southeast Asian countries, as well as Islamic views on Sustainable Development Goals. Using panel data with 5 countries in Southeast Asia or ASEAN members included in the Sustainability Count of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) both GRI, SASB and CDP for the period of 2021 and 2022 the analysis tools used in this study are multiple linear regression with variables Global Reporting Initiative, Sustainability Accounting Standards and Carbon Emissions Disclosure as independent variables, while Sustainable Development Goals as dependent variables.
