Abstract

Sebagai pendidik profesional dan ilmuwan, dosen memiliki tugas utama mentransformasikan, mengembangkan, dan menyebarluaskan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi melalui pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dengan demikian sebagai komponen esensial dalam suatu sistem pendidikan di perguruan tinggi, dosen memiliki peran, tugas, dan tanggung jawab dosen sangat penting. Oleh karena itu, keberadaan dosen di Poltekkes Palembang dituntut keharusan membangun dan menjalin kerjasama dalam suatu tim kerja yang berkualitas, terutama dalam menghadapi persaingan era globalisasi.  Namun demikian, kemampuan dosen dalam menerima tantangan senantiasa berubah dengan mengikut dan menyesuaikan dengan situasi dan kondisi, hal ini berhubungan dengan kemahiran dan kestabilan emosi seseorang dalam  melakukan penyesuaian diri. Kemampuan seorang dosen dalam mengenal emosinya, mengelola emosi diri, memotivasi diri, empati serta menjalin kerjasama sebagai komponen kecerdasan emosional dapat meningkatkan kualitas kinerjanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kecerdasan emosional dosen di Poltekkes Palembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional terhadap seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 100 dosen yang mengajar di delapan program studi di lingkungan Poltekkes Palembang. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pertimbangan dalam penyusunan kebijakan manajemen dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas kinerja dosen serta pemenuhan hak mahasiswa atas proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Academic supervisors are the most appropriate resource for students to complete their education process. Supervisors canalso act as motivators, consultants and collaborators. This study aims to analyze students' perceptions and expectations ofthe role and function of academic advisors at the Poltekkes Palembang by emphasizing the dimensions of tangible,reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. This study used the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) methodand mapped into a Cartesian diagram. Measuring the overall level of student satisfaction was using the CustomerSatisfaction Index (CSI). The sample of this research was 228 Poltekkes Palembang students who were selected usingproportional stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was using a questionnaire sheet with a Likert scaleand analyzed using analysis of the level of interest and customer satisfaction. The statistical test showed that the attributethat has the most satisfactory performance was the appearance of the academic supervisor with a mean of 3.28, while theattributes that need to be prioritized for improvement were special attention to individual students with a mean of 2.42.Through the calculation of CSI, the value was 73.7% (0.66-0.80). This shows that the index of student satisfaction with therole and function of academic advisers was in satisfactory criteria. The performance of lecturers as academic advisersmust be improved and become a lecturer 's attention, especially in several attributes, namely the closeness of therelationship, attention to student difficulties, providing information, and monitoring student academic development.Keywords: academic supervisor, perception, student expectation.

Abstract

Pada saat ini informasi menjadi kebutuhan yang mendasar. Suatu informasi pada kenyataannya akan lebih efektif dan efisien dengan diterapkannya sistem informasi. Masjid Al-Mabrur adalah merupakan salah satu pusat ibadah umat Islam di wilayah Serpong Tangerang Selatan memiliki beberapa kegiatan rutin yang tidak hanya bergerak dalam bidang keagamaan melainkan juga dalam bidang sosial, pada saat ini Masjid Al-Mabrur Serpong dalam mengelola administrasi dan informasi masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu dengan memberikan informasi melalui papan pengumuman yang ada di masjid dan melalui pengumuman lewat speaker sehingga jangkauan informasi yang terbatas dan kurang maksimal. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian masyarakat ini menawarkan solusi dengan memberikan edukasi mengenai pemanfaatan internet sebagai sarana pengelolaan sistem informasi masjid. Sehingga diharapkan kedepannya pengurus masjid bisa mengelola, mengevaluasi dan mengembangkan kegiatan keagamaan serta memberi informasi secara efektif dan efisien kepada mastarakat luas.

Abstract

Adolescence is the time when a person goes from child to adult in 10 to 24 years. This period is a worrying time for teenagers when they want to get away from dependence on their parents, feel curious to know more and are very vulnerable to risky behavior. Bina Lestari High School students have never been given counseling on how to maintain adolescent reproductive health (KRR). In order for the reproductive health status of adolescents to be maintained, it is necessary to provide assistance for health and welfare care for adolescents. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge, understanding, behavior and attitudes of adolescents about reproductive health. The health education method used is in the form of counseling and mentoring discussion groups with the snake and ladder game media (MEDULA). The results of the evaluation showed that many Bina Lestari High School students gained increased knowledge after they studied reproductive health through the snake and ladder media, which included understanding reproductive health, reproductive organs, puberty, menstruation, unwanted pregnancy, and abortion, as well as sexual diseases and HIV-AIDS.

Abstract

Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has reduced access to reproductive health services and limited socialization and health education during social or physical distancing. The government was gradually implementing the new norm era, we still have to be vigilant and follow health protocols, which in principle are clean and healthy living behavior by means of communication as a medium for sharing information/health education. The aim was to improve and change behavior, as well as women's independence regarding reproductive health. The method of activity was to provide education about reproductive health care for women in the new normal era, through online seminars. The results obtained good knowledge of pre-test 61%, post-test 90%, less knowledge of pre-test 39%, post-test 10%, means that the health care education has an effect on improving health. Abstract

WHO said that in 2010, unsafe injections still caused as many as 33,800 new HIV infections, 1.7 million hepatitis B infections, and 315,000 hepatitis C infections. Independent Practice Midwife Clinics are one source of solid medical waste generation. Knowledge of solid medical waste management at independent practicing midwife clinics in Lempuing District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in 2023. Research This type of research is descriptive research. This research was conducted in March-May 2023. The population in this study were all 38 independent practicing midwife clinics. The sample is total sampling, namely all independent practicing midwife clinics. The data collection tool is a checklist sheet. Variable sorting, container, storage, and transportation. Data analysis using Univariate Analysis. Sorting 38 (100%) fulfilled the requirements, containers for labeling infectious waste 8 (22%) and pharmaceutical 13 (44%), container grouping for infectious 15 (40%) and pharmaceutical 30 (70%) did not meet the requirements. Storage contained 23 (59%) separate rooms, 8 (21%) covered packaging, and 20 (53%) identity labeled packaging did not meet the requirements. Transportation 11 (29%) did not carry out transportation. by concluding that 38 (100%) have done proper sorting, for containers that have not been labeled infectious waste 8 (22%) and pharmaceutical 13 (44%), there is no separate storage room 23 (59%), there is the packaging does not have a cover 8 (21%), the packaging does not have an identity label 20 (53%). Transportation 11 (29%) did not carry out the transportation be consistent in carrying out proper sorting, more complete facilities, especially in terms of container and storage, and know how to process and transport medical waste properly and correctly.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus, transmitted through the bite of a mosquito vector of the species Aedes egypti or Aedes albopictus. The incidence of DHF increases during the rainy season when there are many stagnant waters which are breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Integrated Vector Control is an effective risk management as an effort to eradicate mosquito nests continuously and continuously with the 1 house 1 jumantik movement program. One of the efforts made to optimize community participation in DHF control is empowering school children to become Jumantik-PSN School cadres by increasing students' knowledge and attitudes through the jumantik booklet. The research objective was to determine the effect of booklets in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of Cadres in controlling Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. The research method uses a pre-experiment with a one group pre-post test design, data collection techniques by filling out a knowledge and attitude questionnaire. This research was conducted in March-May 2023. The study population was all school jumantik_PSN cadres in the working area of ​​the Sako Health Center, with a total sample of 57 respondents obtained using the stratified random sampling technique. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Test showed significant differences in pretest and posttest values after being educated using the Jumantik booklet with p (0.000), it can be concluded that the booklet media is an effective and informative medium in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of Jumantik-PSN cadres for school children as an effort to control dengue hemorrhagic fever in schools.

Abstract

Selama ini, penyiraman tanaman dilakukan secara manual. Akan tetapi, terkadang manusia tidak punya cukup waktu untuk menyiram tanaman serta kurang mengetahui berapa banyak air yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah merancang sebuah alat penyiraman tanaman hias otomatis untuk mengatasi masalah dalam penyiraman tanaman hias yang masin dilakukan secara manual dan sebagai bahan pembelajaran. Prototype ini menggunakan Arduino Uno sebagai pengontrol utama, sensor kelembaban tanah digunakan untuk membaca kadar kelembaban tanah dan digunakan sebagai saklar untuk menghidupkan pompa penyiram. Sistem ini mengambil data dengan sensor kelembaban tanah dan pH tanah, untuk mencari nilai kelembaban tanah dan nilai pH tanah pada tanaman dengan cara menancapkannya di tanah. Kemudian data yang diperoleh di kirim ke jaringan modul ESP8266 dan hasilnya akan ditampilkan pada layar LCD. Sensor kelembaban tanah digunakan untuk mendeteksi kelembaban dan kekeringan tanah dengan cara menancapkan sensor di tanah yang kemudian dapat menggerakan pompa ke arah tanaman lalu menyiramkan air, apabila tanah yang kering sudah mendapatkan asupan air yang cukup maka secara otomatis pompa dan kran akan berhenti bekerja.

Abstract

Pd Jaya Makmur Sentosa is a company engaged in the fish retail sector. As long as the company operates until now, it still uses a recording system by recording it in a book, and it is still not computerized, so that transactions and stored goods data are still not efficient and effective. In managing transactions and data on goods, they still record them using notes and ledger records. This results in several problems, namely that it is difficult to find invoices and calculate stock. Store owners find it difficult to check on business activities that occur, so it takes a long time and is ineffective. This research aims to build a point-of-sale application for Pd Jaya Makmur Sentosa. For this reason, a software development process is carried out based on correct software engineering. The method used in this study uses the waterfall model as a reference in its development. The results of this study show that it makes it easier to manage transactions and stock and records the entry and exit of goods more efficiently. Based on these findings, it is possible to conclude that the purpose of this research is to assist shop owners and employees in managing transactions and stock in accordance with the needs of shop owners in order to assist their business operations.

Abstract

RT stands for “Rukun Tetangga” which is led by a “Ketua RT”. The head of a RT is an individual elected by residents in a residential area, who has the responsibility to lead and manage activities and daily affairs within the RT area. RT areas have regulations that have long been implemented, namely guests who are not local residents have an obligation to report to the RT office within 1 x 24 hours during their visit to enter an area. This is done to provide a sense of security and order in the surrounding environment. However, these regulations often do not work as they should. So, to facilitate practice, research to design and build a web-based mandatory reporting guest application system was carried out. This website is designed to make it easier for guests to report when entering the RT.03 area without having to go to the RT head's office. The Extreme Programming (XP) method is used in making this website because the software development method is fast, efficient, low risk, flexible, predictable, scientific, and fun. The stages that need to be followed in building a mandatory guest reporting system with the XP method are planning, designing, coding, and system testing. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the mandatory guest reporting system is very effective in helping to facilitate the guest labor process and also the data collection of guests who come.
