Abstract

In the dynamic competition of the banking industry, career acceleration has become a crucial strategy in human resource management to enhance employee performance and job satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of career acceleration on employee performance and job satisfaction at PT Bank Akasia Mas. A quantitative approach by an explanatory research design was employed, involving 154 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected utilizing validated questionnaires, complemented by interviews and observations. Regression analysis results reveal that career acceleration significantly affects both performance (R² = 0.31) and job satisfaction (R² = 0.39). When organizational culture was included, the R² value improved to 0.48, highlighting its strong moderating role. The study also reveals structural disparities in access to career enhancement programs across divisions, negatively affecting job satisfaction. Moreover, the influence of career acceleration on performance is largely mediated by job satisfaction. These outcomes emphasize the importance of a fair, structured, and competency-based career enhancement system, along by the reinforcement of an inclusive organizational culture. This study gives both practical and theoretical contributions to comprehending career dynamics in Indonesia’s banking sector and offers strategic recommendations for improving organizational productivity through influenceive career management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of adversity intelligence and self-efficacy on students' economic learning outcomes, as well as to evaluate the role of parental attention as a moderating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach with an associative-causal design, involving 145 Grade XI Social Sciences students from three public high schools in Tana Tidung Regency. The research instruments include questionnaires and academic achievement tests, analyzed using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that adversity intelligence (β = 0.377; p = 0.007) and self-efficacy (β = 0.353; p = 0.001) have a positive and significant effect on academic achievement. Additionally, parental attention was found to significantly moderate the relationship between adversity intelligence (β = 0.24; p = 0.001) and self-efficacy (β = 0.22; p = 0.001) on students' academic achievement. The increase in the coefficient of determination from R² = 0.070 to R² = 0.086 after moderation indicates that parental attention strengthens the relationship between internal psychological factors and academic achievement. These findings emphasize the importance of collaboration between strengthening students' psychological resilience and parental involvement in supporting learning success, especially in areas with limited access to education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of healthcare services at RSUD Masohi, Central Maluku Regency, using the five organizational effectiveness indicators proposed by Gibson Ivancevich Donnelly (1985), namely production, efficiency, satisfaction, adaptability, and development. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document review. The findings indicate that in terms of production, the breakdown of critical facilities such as the CSSD hindered major surgical operations and reduced service capacity. Regarding efficiency, the manual claims administration system slowed down processes and reduced service accuracy. Patient satisfaction levels varied, with complaints about comfort, service speed, and facility completeness. The hospital’s adaptability to change remained reactive, lacking a comprehensive strategic plan, particularly in responding to facility crises and technological advancements. Development efforts were also limited, as reflected in minimal infrastructure investment, insufficient medical staff training, and restricted specialist services. These findings highlight the urgent need for a comprehensive and sustainable improvement strategy, encompassing infrastructure enhancement, adoption of health information technology, capacity building for human resources, and expansion of specialized healthcare services. Consequently, RSUD Masohi is expected to improve its service effectiveness and quality to optimally meet the healthcare needs of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of distance learning technology based on pedagogical and technical criteria. Using a literature review approach, the research analyzes previous studies to identify key factors that contribute to the success or failure of technology-based distance education. From the pedagogical perspective, the study highlights the importance of meaningful teacher-student interaction, adaptive teaching strategies, active student participation, and timely, constructive feedback. From the technical perspective, the study addresses access to infrastructure, system reliability, user interface design, and the availability of technical support. The findings reveal that distance learning is most effective when pedagogical design is supported by accessible, reliable, and user-friendly technology. A well-integrated approach combining synchronous and asynchronous learning methods enhances student engagement and learning outcomes. The study concludes that the impact of distance learning technologies depends not only on digital access but also on how thoughtfully those technologies are implemented within instructional frameworks. This research contributes to the development of more effective digital learning environments and provides practical insights for educators, policymakers, and education technology developers.

Abstract

The pastry department in a hotel is very important, especially in creating quality cake or bread products. Various industries are developing and improving to maintain quality, one of which is the Aston Kupang Hotel and Convention Center. This research is qualitative descriptive using data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of skills and work abilities in improving product quality consists of four factors, namely; color standards, aroma standards, taste standards, and texture standards. Skills and abilities to process good cake and bread products by creating their own product recipes so that they have unique characteristics accompanied by a more developed garnish presentation model so that they can do their jobs well and satisfactorily. In line with increasing skills coupled with a long work period, pastry staff have qualified experience. In addition, pastry products are starting to show increasingly high quality so that the standards of taste, aroma, texture, and color are increasingly maintained.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hak dasar setiap anak, namun anak-anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia (APMI) di Malaysia menghadapi kendala akses pendidikan formal akibat keterbatasan dokumen kewarganegaraan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pembelajaran nonformal berbasis budaya dapat memperkuat identitas kebangsaan dan sikap nasionalisme anak-anak tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengalaman dan makna subjektif anak-anak APMI dalam konteks pembelajaran budaya yang mereka terima. Lokasi penelitian berada di Sanggar Bimbingan Permai Kulim (SBPK), Kulim, Malaysia. Fokus utama penelitian adalah implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis budaya dan dampaknya terhadap penguatan karakter nasionalisme anak. Permasalahan yang dicari meliputi bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran budaya berlangsung serta bagaimana pengaruhnya terhadap perkembangan karakter nasionalisme anak-anak APMI. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, melibatkan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan seperti permainan congklak, pembuatan batik, tarian tradisional, dan lagu daerah efektif menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air serta membentuk karakter positif pada anak-anak. Model pembelajaran ini bersifat interaktif, menyenangkan, dan mampu mengembangkan kreativitas serta nilai moral. Kelebihannya adalah pendekatan yang menyatu dengan budaya lokal sehingga anak mudah memahami dan menghayati, namun kelemahannya terbatas pada fasilitas belajar dan jumlah tenaga pengajar yang kurang memadai. Interaksi intensif antara mahasiswa KKN dan anak-anak APMI juga memperkuat ikatan emosional dan semangat nasionalisme. Penelitian merekomendasikan pengembangan dan integrasi pembelajaran berbasis budaya secara lebih luas dalam pendidikan nonformal untuk mendukung anak-anak migran agar tetap menjaga jati diri dan nasionalisme di perantauan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of administrative communication and work motivation on service quality at the Salahutu District Office, Central Maluku Regency. The research employed a quantitative survey approach, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to all office employees. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²) to examine both partial and simultaneous effects of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results indicate that administrative communication has a positive and significant effect on service quality, with a regression coefficient of 0.539 and Beta value of 0.651, demonstrating the dominant role of communication in influencing service quality. Conversely, work motivation does not have a significant partial effect, although its influence is positive. Simultaneously, administrative communication and work motivation together significantly affect service quality with a significance level of < 0.001. These findings highlight the importance of synergy between effective internal communication and employee motivation in improving public service performance. The study provides practical implications for the Salahutu District Office management to enhance communication training, optimize digital media, promote a democratic communication culture, and increase employee motivation through rewards and adequate work facilities.

Abstract

The Rempang community's resistance to the Rempang Eco City National Strategic Project (PSN) is not just a simple rejection, but rather a resistance to fight for and defend the basic rights, cultural identity, and legality of the village they have occupied for generations from generation to generation which certainly has the history and culture of the village. Development for the progress that brings prosperity to the community should be built on a foundation of justice and community participation, especially those directly affected by the development, not the sacrifice and eviction of villages that have been occupied for a long time and have a cultural identity and history within them. The Rempang community supports development if the development does not harm the community, for example, development that can advance Rempang Island by utilizing and advancing the natural environment that makes Rempang Island more famous for its local wisdom.

Abstract

Sustainable Public Procurement (SPP) is one of the stages in the implementation of the realization of the state budget. SPP pays attention to the balance between price, environment and benefits for the community. Many factors can encourage the realization of SPP. This research aims to study the literature on the determinants of SPP from research results that have been published openly. The results of the literature study found that the effectiveness of internal control consisting of elements of competence and independence of internal auditors has a significant influence on SPP. In addition, management support and synergy with external auditors are estimated to have a significant influence on the effectiveness of internal control. Probity audits carried out by internal supervisors are expected to maintain compliance with the procedures for implementing SPP. Management needs to build an independent and credible electronic public procurement system to provide equal opportunities to all prospective vendors so that SPP can be implemented in accordance with the procurement plan and obtain fair prices and quality goods.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of member participation and service quality on the development of cooperative businesses at SMA Negeri 1 Sembakung, with cooperative education as a moderating variable. Low member participation and service quality are often major obstacles to the development of school cooperatives, so this study aims to examine the strategic role of cooperative education in moderating this relationship. Using a quantitative causal-associative approach, this study involved 78 respondents from a population of 248 cooperative members (teachers, educational staff, and students) through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression and moderation regression. The results indicate that member participation and service quality have a significant and positive effect on business development. Additionally, cooperative education was found to significantly moderate the relationship between the two variables. In conclusion, enhancing cooperative education is crucial for optimizing member participation and service quality, which ultimately drives sustainable cooperative business development.
