Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and motivation on employee performance in a government institution involving 72 respondents. A quantitative method with multiple linear regression was applied to examine the relationship between independent variables (leadership style and motivation) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The validity and reliability tests indicated that all research instruments were valid and reliable. Classical assumption tests confirmed that the regression model had no issues with multicollinearity, autocorrelation, or heteroscedasticity. Regression analysis revealed that both leadership style and motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings suggest that improving leadership quality and employee motivation can be an effective strategy to enhance organizational productivity and performance. This research is expected to serve as a valuable reference for management in developing evidence-based human resource management policies

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of service quality, innovation, tourist image, and tourist attraction on the revisit intention of visitors to Gunung Kemukus, Sragen, Central Java. A quantitative method was used in this study, with a purposive sampling technique to select 200 tourists who met specific criteria. Data collection was conducted through closed-ended questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that service quality has a significant effect on the tourist attraction at Gunung Kemukus. This is evidenced by a t-value greater than the t-table (3.397 > 2.042) and a significance value smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), with a positive regression coefficient of 0.354. This means that the better the service quality, the higher the tourist attraction. Innovation also has a significant impact on tourist attractions at Gunung Kemukus. The t-value is greater than the t-table (3.329 > 2.042), the significance value of 0.003 < 0.05, and a positive regression coefficient of 0.465 show that the innovation implemented by the management can enhance the tourist attraction of the site. Furthermore, the tourist image has a significant effect on tourist attraction, with a t-value greater than the t-table (3.806 > 2.042), significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, and a positive regression coefficient of 0.235. This indicates that a positive image of the tourist destination can increase its tourist attraction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Customer Relationship Management and Social Media Engagement on Generation Z customer loyalty, with Trust as a mediating variable in hotels located in Seminyak, Bali. The research employed an explanatory quantitative approach with purposive sampling, involving 400 Generation Z respondents who had stayed at least once in Seminyak hotels within the last 12 months. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that Customer Relationship Management and Social Media Engagement have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Both also significantly influence Trust, which in turn positively affects loyalty. Furthermore, Trust mediates the relationship between Customer Relationship Management and Social Media Engagement with Generation Z customer loyalty. These findings contribute theoretically to tourism marketing and hospitality management studies, particularly regarding the integration of Customer Relationship Management and Social Media Engagement strategies in building loyalty through Trust. The practical implication suggests that hotels in Seminyak should strengthen personalized and interactive service strategies and optimize social media use to foster Trust and sustain emotional relationships with Generation Z customers.

Abstract

Islamic universities in Indonesia face significant challenges in balancing Islamic values with the needs of modern education and global competition. The dynamics of changes in national higher education policies and the demands of international accreditation create adaptive pressure for these institutions to transform without losing their distinctive identity. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Islamic higher education policies in integrating Islamic values with international academic standards, as well as identifying optimal policy models for institutional development in the digital era. How can Islamic universities develop policies that strengthen Islamic identity while increasing global competitiveness? What are the challenges of implementing scientific integration policies in Islamic universities? The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method at five leading Islamic universities. Data were collected using library research method, by analyzing various sources from books and journals related to the theme of the mutual relationship between politics and policy and education in Islamic universities. The study identified three models of effective integration policies: (1) transformative-adaptive model, (2) conservative-selective model, and (3) progressive-innovative model. Policy implementation is influenced by leadership, organizational culture, and capacity factors. Universities that implement the transformative-adaptive model show an optimal balance between strengthening Islamic values ​​and increasing global competitiveness.

Abstract

Developing a reading habit from an early age is very beneficial for increasing children's insight and knowledge. This habit can be fostered through books, including textbooks. Textbooks can be used to introduce about wetland to early childhood. This introduction to the environment Introduction to the environment, especially wetland environments, fosters a sense of environmental concern in children, and also fosters awareness of love for the environment. The development of a wetland introduction textbook is well-designed, using language that is easy for children to understand and including images to facilitate children's understanding of the information. The type of research used in this study is research and development (R&D). The development model that will be used in the textbook is ADDIE development, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate. The experiment was conducted several times, involving 15 children of A Kindergarten in the South Kalimantan area. In addition to A Kindergarten children, this study also involved 2 teachers and even involved a materials expert and a media expert to get a good textbook that is appropriate to the development of early childhood. Based on the results of the textbook trial, the increase in children who know the means of transportation and types of work in the wetland environment reached 40%, from initially only 5 children to 11 children who know about the means of transportation and types of work in the wetland environment. The results of the study show that the textbook is effective in introducing the wetland environment to early childhood. The textbook also got a positive response from teachers and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the rhetorical persuasion strategies in the presidential campaign speeches of Donald Trump in the United States and Prabowo Subianto in Indonesia. The approach employed is descriptive qualitative, using a comparative case study design. Data were collected from the official speech transcripts of both candidates and analyzed through classical rhetorical categories, ethos, pathos, and logos, complemented by framing analysis, agenda-setting, and critical discourse analysis. Findings reveal that Donald Trump employed a confrontational and populist rhetorical strategy. He constructed an image of himself as the people's protector against the political elite, evoked collective emotions such as fear and anger, and used hyperbolic logic to reinforce his political arguments. His rhetorical style was dominated by metaphors of battle and national crisis. In contrast, Prabowo Subianto employed a more nationalistic and integrative rhetorical style. He built credibility through narratives of nationalism, conveyed messages of hope and unity, and promoted a development and self-reliance agenda as the logical framework of his campaign. The analysis indicates that campaign speeches are not merely tools of political communication but also practices of meaning-making that reflect power structures, political identities, and issue priorities. This study offers a deeper understanding of the dynamics of political rhetoric within different cultural contexts and contributes to the development of cross-national political communication studies.

Abstract

This research aims to develop character-based teaching modules to support the Great Indonesian Children Program at Zainul Hasan Masbagik Kindergarten. The program is designed to instil key character values such as responsibility, honesty, caring, discipline, and cooperation from an early age through a fun, contextual, and meaningful learning approach. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) by adapting the Borg & Gall development model, which consists of ten main steps: initial research and information gathering, planning, product draft development, initial field trial, initial product revision, main field trial, advanced product revision, operational trial, final product revision, and dissemination. The subjects in this study include teachers and group B students at Zainul Hasan Masbagik Kindergarten. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and expert validation. The data obtained was analysed qualitatively and quantitatively to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the product. The data from the validation calculation by media experts show that the parenting module developed by the researcher can be categorized as "excellent". Meanwhile, the results of the study on the character of children aged 5-6 years after parents used the great Indonesian children's character-based teaching module implemented in schools showed a significant increase. The results of this research are expected to be able to produce teaching modules that are valid in content and structure, practical in application by teachers, and effective in improving early childhood character behaviour. This module is also expected to be replicated and adapted in other PAUD units as part of strengthening character education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the content of character education values, especially concern for the environment contained in the animated cartoon series "Tayo The Little Bus" and its relevance as a learning medium for early childhood. This research is a library research with a qualitative descriptive method that applies content analysis. The research data comes from five episodes of the animated cartoon "Tayo The Little Bus" which were specifically selected to raise the theme of cleanliness and the environment. Data collection was carried out through documentation techniques with observation methods of listening and taking notes on the elements of analysis in the form of dialogue, narration, scene engineering, and character actions contained in the five episodes. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted by referring to the theory of cognitive and moral development of early childhood and the basis of character education. The results of the analysis show that in terms of cognitive aspects, this animation successfully presents the concept of introducing waste and environmental cleanliness responsibilities into concrete images through character visualization in its five episodes based on children's thinking stages. The Tayo The Little Bus cartoon animation presents a strong behavioral model through musical scenes in the episodes "Cleaning Song" and "I Like Clean Mountains" which are arranged to stimulate positive psychomotor skills in children, and the form of the story in these episodes consistently builds an understanding of the real impact of actions to protect and from actions to ignore the environment. In conclusion, as a learning through media, "Tayo The Little Bus" has strong feasibility to be used as a supporting medium in environmental care character education at the Early Childhood Education level.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the DPRD budget function and the performance of the Working Committee (PANJA) on the effectiveness of Draft Regional Regulation (Ranperda) preparation in the Ambon City DPRD. The research employed a quantitative survey approach. The population consisted of DPRD members and PANJA members involved in Ranperda preparation. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that the DPRD budget function positively and significantly affects the effectiveness of Ranperda preparation (Sig. = 0.002), while PANJA performance has a positive and highly significant effect (Sig. < 0.001). Simultaneously, both independent variables significantly influence the effectiveness of Ranperda preparation (Sig. < 0.001), accounting for 78.2% of the dependent variable’s variance. These findings highlight that effective Ranperda preparation requires synergy between well-planned budgeting and professional technical execution by PANJA. The study implies the need to enhance DPRD members’ capacity in budgeting functions, optimize PANJA performance through training and evaluation, and ensure intensive coordination between both parties to produce high-quality regional regulations that impact local development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, internal communication, teamwork, and extrinsic motivation on employee performance at PT. Agro Gemilang Surya. The background of this research is the low achievement of productivity targets caused by the suboptimal application of transformational leadership, weak communication, low team synergy, and insufficient extrinsic motivation. This research employs a quantitative method with a saturated sample of 51 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 22 through instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The research findings indicate that these four variables, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These results highlight the importance of enhancing transformational leadership, improving internal communication, strengthening teamwork, and providing optimal extrinsic motivation to support improvements in employee performance and the achievement of company targets.
