Abstract

Improving sprint swimming performance in adolescent athletes is an important concern in the youth sports coaching process. This study aims to determine the effect of the High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) training program on the 50-meter freestyle sprint speed in adolescent swimmers. The method used is a quantitative experimental research with a pre-test and post-test control group design, involving 20 athletes divided into two groups: experimental and control. The data collection technique was carried out through a swimming time test before and after the intervention for six weeks, and analyzed using a paired t-test and an independent t-test. The results showed that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in performance compared to the control group, the results of the paired t-test showed a statistical value of t = 42.74 with a significance value of p <0.001. The results of the paired t-test showed a value of t = 18.76 with a significance value of p <0.001. This shows that the HIIT program is effective in increasing sprint speed in adolescent athletes. These findings contribute to the science of sports coaching and physical education by offering an efficient, evidence-based, and applicable training approach in the context of youth athlete coaching. The conclusion of this study confirms that HIIT can be an appropriate alternative strategy for coaches in developing athlete sprint performance. Further research is recommended to explore other technical and physiological variables in more depth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektivitas antara metode latihan drill dan game situation terhadap peningkatan akurasi tembakan pemain bola basket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 pemain bola basket tingkat remaja yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok latihan drill dan kelompok latihan game situation, masing-masing berjumlah 15 orang. Kedua kelompok diberikan perlakuan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali latihan per minggu. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur akurasi tembakan adalah tes shooting standar yang terdiri dari 20 percobaan tembakan dari berbagai posisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode latihan memberikan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap akurasi tembakan. Kelompok drill mengalami peningkatan dari nilai rata-rata 6,07 menjadi 10,13, sedangkan kelompok game situation meningkat dari 6,00 menjadi 11,53. Uji t independen menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok pada hasil posttest (p = 0,013 < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan dengan metode game situation lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan metode drill dalam meningkatkan akurasi tembakan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa metode latihan game situation lebih unggul dalam meningkatkan akurasi tembakan pemain bola basket karena melibatkan aspek teknis, taktis, dan psikologis yang lebih mendekati situasi pertandingan. Disarankan agar pelatih dan guru pendidikan jasmani menggabungkan kedua metode tersebut secara proporsional sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan atlet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan kelincahan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dribbling pada atlet BKMF Basketball FIKK UNM. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest terhadap 25 sampel. Data awal (pretest) menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata waktu dribbling dalam tes zig-zag sebesar 16,84 detik, dengan nilai tertinggi 18,12 detik dan nilai terendah 15,70 detik, yang berada pada kategori sedang. Setelah menjalani program latihan kelincahan selama enam minggu, hasil posttest menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, dengan rata-rata waktu dribbling menurun menjadi 14,90 detik, nilai tertinggi 15,80 detik, dan nilai terendah 13,62 detik. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menghasilkan nilai t hitung sebesar 8,764 dengan p-value 0,000 (<0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa latihan kelincahan berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dribbling atlet.

Abstract

Telah ditentukan bahwa atlet sekolah menengah atas di SMA Budi Agung di Medan memiliki kemampuan lay-up yang buruk, yang mengarah pada pembuatan penelitian ini. Dihipotesiskan bahwa kurangnya kondisi fisik, yaitu kecepatan dan kekuatan eksplosif otot tungkai, merupakan akar penyebab gangguan ini. Dalam konteks bola basket, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kecepatan dan daya ledak otot tungkai berkontribusi terhadap kemampuan lay-up para pemain bola basket yang bersekolah di SMA Budi Agung Medan. Dalam melakukan penelitian, pendekatan korelasional dilakukan. Sampel diambil dari populasi yang terdiri dari dua puluh orang, yang semuanya adalah atlet dari SMA Budi Agung Medan. Pendekatan sampling lengkap digunakan untuk mengumpulkan sampel. Tes kecepatan dilakukan dengan berlari sejauh tiga puluh meter, tes kemampuan daya ledak otot tungkai dilakukan dengan melompat secara vertikal, dan tes keterampilan lay-up dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes lay-up. Semua tes ini digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Terdapat pengaruh yang cukup besar antara kecepatan dan daya ledak otot tungkai secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lay-up pada atlet bola basket SMA Budi Agung Medan, sesuai dengan hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini. Pendekatan statistik regresi linier sederhana digunakan dalam proses metodologi analisis data. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kecepatan memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemampuan lay-up pada atlet bola basket sebesar 67,74%, daya ledak otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi terhadap kemampuan lay-up sebesar 33,23%, dan kecepatan serta daya ledak otot tungkai memberikan kontribusi secara bersama-sama terhadap kemampuan lay-up sebesar 61,34%. Temuan ini diperoleh dari hasil penelitian

Abstract

This study aims to improve the achievement of long jump lectures in first semester STOK Bina Guna students through the TGT method. This study uses classroom action research, where the study uses a triangulation assessment system. The study was conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection of actions for each cycle. The subjects of the study were 30 first semester STOK Bina Guna students. The data source for this study came from attendance data obtained from the Head of the STOK Bina Guna PJKR Study Program. Data collection techniques used tests and measurements of long jump abilities and observations from the training process. descriptive analysis techniques based on qualitative and quantitative analysis in accurate data processing. The results of the study indicate that the method of improving achievement through TGT can improve students' long jump achievements from the pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. From the data analysis, the results obtained in cycle I showed an increase in long jump learning outcomes in students who completed as many as 22 students. While in cycle II, the increase in long jump achievement was 27 students who completed. The conclusion of this classroom action research is that through the application of the TGT method, long jump learning outcomes can be improved for STOK Bina Guna students.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine the role of body flexibility on heading ability in beginner soccer players. Heading is a fundamental skill in soccer that requires coordination, strength, and body flexibility, particularly in the neck, back, and core muscles. The method used is a systematic literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach based on Cooper's model, and the results are reported using the PRISMA framework. Literature was collected from databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and ScienceDirect, with inclusion criteria of articles published between 2013 and 2024, involving players aged 10–17 years, and discussing the variables of flexibility and heading. Of the 94 articles found, 12 were analyzed in depth. The results of the study indicate that body flexibility plays a significant role in improving the effectiveness and safety of heading techniques. Structured flexibility training has been proven to support accuracy, heading power, and reduce the risk of injury. It is concluded that flexibility is an important component in basic soccer training programs and needs to be further investigated empirically.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of volleyball underhand serve using the inquiry learning method for class IX students of SMAN 9 Gowa. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles and each cycle consists of four meetings. This study took place at SMAN 9 Gowa. The subjects of this study were class IX students of SMAN 9 Gowa. The instruments in this study used test techniques, observation techniques and documentation techniques in the application of the volleyball underhand serve inquiry learning method. Based on the results of observations, discussions and research results, it can be concluded that learning volleyball underhand serve for class IX students of SMAN 9 Gowa for two cycles can improve student learning outcomes. This can be proven from the results of the study that the completion of learning outcomes based on KKM, in cycle I the percentage of graduation of class IX students of SMAN 9 Gowa was 56.66%, and increased in cycle II with a graduation percentage of 83.33%.

Abstract

The recommendation of this study is to determine the differences in the results of physical condition tests focused on karate kata and kumite athletes of PPLP Gorontalo Province and to determine the percentage of participants in the physical condition test of karate kata and kumite athletes of PPLP Gorontalo Province. In addition, this study is an evaluation of the results of karate kata and kumite tests each year from 2024 to 2025. This study shows the results of the physical tests of male and female karate athletes kata and kumite PPLP Gorontalo Province in 2024 - 2025 PPLP Gorontalo Province, namely the Bleep test in 2024-2025 experienced an average increase of 0.12%. The 20-meter running test in 2024 to 2025 experienced an average increase of 1.27%. The 300m running test in 2024-2025 experienced an average increase of 82.72%, the Push up Test in 2024-2025 experienced an average increase of 75%. The 2024-2025 Sit Up Test experienced an average increase of 14.41%, while the physical test results of male karate athletes in the kata and kumite categories of PPLP Gorontalo Province athletes in 2024-2025, namely the 2024-2025 Bleep Test, experienced an average decrease of 4.35%. , The 20-meter running test from 2024 to 2025 experienced an average increase of 2.78%, the 300m running test from 2024-2025 experienced an average increase of 8.16%, the Push-up test from 2024-2025 experienced an average increase of 28.67%, the Sit-up test from 2024-2025 remained at an average of 26.40%, So that there was a change in the results of the physical condition test of the PPLP Gorontalo Province in 2024 - 2025 PPLP Gorontalo Province. Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of the basic underhand passing technique in volleyball through the play method for students of class VII.6 at SMP Negeri 3 Palembang. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted in two learning cycles that include planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection to evaluate and improve the learning process. The research subjects were all 30 students of class VII.6 with a Minimum Completeness Criterion (KKM) of 75. The results showed a significant improvement, with students achieving the KKM score increasing from 12 students (40%) in the pre-cycle, to 19 students (63.3%) in the first cycle, and 26 students (86.7%) in the second cycle. These findings prove that the play method effectively enhances the underhand passing technique while motivating students to learn more actively and enjoyably. Therefore, the play method is recommended as a learning strategy to improve the learning outcomes of the basic underhand passing technique in volleyball at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran permainan futsal terhadap keterampilan motorik dan kognitif siswa sekolah dasar. Latar belakang penelitian ini dilandasi oleh rendahnya aktivitas fisik terstruktur dalam proses pembelajaran yang berdampak pada perkembangan keterampilan motorik dan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu. Sampel terdiri dari 60 siswa kelas V SD yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes keterampilan motorik kasar dan soal kognitif berbasis pemahaman taktis permainan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan metode permainan futsal memiliki peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek motorik dan kognitif dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis permainan dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pendidikan jasmani.
