Abstract

The aim of this research is to look at the problems of using learning media in Fiqih subjects at MAN Sidikalang. This research was conducted qualitatively using a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, thorough interviews with fiqih teachers, and questionnaires distributed to students. The research results show that some of the main obstacles in using learning media at MAN Sidikalang are limited access to technology, lack of instructions for teachers on how to use learning media, and lack of school support. In addition, it was found that when learning media is used and is relevant to students' daily lives, they tend to be more interested and motivated. And furthermore, the research results show that there are several ways to overcome current problems, such as improving school technology facilities, providing intensive training to teachers on how to use learning media, and developing learning media that are more innovative and appropriate to students' local context. By implementing these strategies, it is hoped that Fiqih learning at MAN Sidikalang will become more effective.

This study used descriptive qualitative using data analysis techniques in the form of observation and interviews where the researchers took observations at SMP IT Khalisaturrahmi Binjai where researchers took qualitative primary data sources obtained from Islamic Religious Education teachers. In this study, the sources of secondary data are theses, theses and articles relating to the research being conducted. The first research is that a students must obey the teacher with habituation when the teacher drives a motorbike or car or is walking, the students bow their heads while giving a smile. Work program makes a moral debriefing work program once a week aimed at having good morals towards fellow students, teachers, parents and even within the community. To produce results such as when in class students or students must first enter the class to welcome the teacher who will enter. The second is the teacher's guidance for students, namely using the method of concrete stories such as giving alms and we also have to be sincere and that must also be set as an example by the teacher, so that from that method students who previously behaved badly become good so that it can be applied in the community. Third, if there are students who are difficult to control, namely by approaching giving advice and motivation so that a student has good morals, without denying that a stubborn student can occur due to internal factors such as lack of love for parents, then it would be nice for the teacher to talk to four students. Alhamdulillah, in this way students can change from bad morals to good ones.

Abstract

Islamic education learning methods are inseparable from the main sources of Islamic teachings, namely the Koran and Hadith. The Al-Qur'an as a guide and guide for humans has provided guidelines in education, especially regarding learning methods. This method is used together with the personal approach of the teacher and students, so that students are interested and like what is being taught. It is difficult to succeed in studying when student enthusiasm is weak. Therefore, professional educators must be smart and creative in choosing the right method. The method of this Learning System series plays an important role in the success of the learning process. The method is a prerequisite for achieving educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies of Islamic religious education in addressing the challenges of multiculturalism in Suro Lembak Village, Kepahiang Regency, focusing on how Islamic education fosters harmony among religious communities amidst cultural and religious diversity. Using a qualitative approach and library research methods, the data sources include books and journals related to Islamic education and multiculturalism. Descriptive analysis was employed to identify relationships between categories and derive relevant theories. The main findings reveal that Islamic religious education in Suro Lembak Village is implemented through formal and non-formal educational institutions, religious outreach (dakwah), and collaborative interfaith activities. Institutions such as madrasas and Quranic learning centers (TPA) teach Islamic values that promote tolerance and respect for differences, while dakwah emphasizes the importance of coexistence and interfaith dialogue to strengthen social harmony. Collaborative activities between religious groups have also successfully enhanced community solidarity. Despite the effectiveness of these strategies, the study notes several limitations, such as a lack of educators with expertise in multiculturalism, insufficient local policy support, and limited societal perceptions of diversity. The study suggests that teacher training, the development of contextually relevant teaching materials, and local government policy support are essential to strengthening multicultural education in the village.
