Jurnal Teknologi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (TEKIBA) urnal Teknologi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (TEKIBA) adalah jurnal ilmiah multidisiplin yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Teknik Universitas PGRI Banyuangi dengan nomor registrasi ISSN 2776-947X. Jurnal ini berkaitan dengan informasi tentang gagasan, implementasi serta pencapaian dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Publikasi jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran atau gagasan konseptual dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. TEKIBA memuat berbagai kegiatan tenaga pengajar di Universitas PGRI Banyuangi dalam menangani dan mengelola berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian juga melibatkan peran serta masyarakat dan mitra. Kegiatan pengabdian disusun menjadi suatu kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Abstract

Pameran, bazaar, festival dan kegiatan sejenis memberikan manfaat positip bagi UMKM. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan untuk pendampingan mitra UMKM katering Pawon Mburi dalam Festival Seni dan Budaya 2024 yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Candirenggo Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan pendampingan ini merupakan bagian dari implementasi konsep bisnis berbasis komunitas yang menjadi tema hibah Pemberdayaan Kemitraan Masyarakat DRTPM Dirjen Dikti TA 2024. Pendampingan dilakukan untuk desain tata letak stan, media promosi dan manajemen keuangan dengan penerapan mesin kasir. Stan Pawon Mburi diisi juga oleh anggota komunitas. Penjualan dilakukan bersama dalam koordinasi di bawah manajemen Pawon Mburi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan memberikan peningkatan omset penjualan mitra setiap harinya, selama 4 hari kegiatan festival.

Abstract

Profil usaha sangat bermanfaat bagi pengembangan usaha. Demikian halnya dengan organisasi lainnya seperti kelompok seni Bantengan yang banyak berkembang di daerah Malang, Jawa Timur. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan penyusunan profil kelompok seni Bantengan Lembu Sekar Melati. Penyusunan dilakukan dengan sistematika profil yang disusun dengan mitra kegiatan dan disempurnakan bersama dengan tim pelaksana kegiatan. Peran aktif mitra dan pendampingan tim pelaksana dapat menyelesaikan penyusunan profil kelompok seni Bantengan. Penyusunan profil juga mendapatkan perhatian kelompok-kelompok seni Bantengan yang lain

Abstract

The development of SMEs as a support for the national economy must continue to be supported. In producing Batik, it cannot be avoided that there is waste in the form of wax from used batik which can pollute the environment. UKM Batik Manggur is one of the UKM in Probolinggo, East Java Provinci, which has several problems in developing its business, including processing batik wax waste. This community service activity provides a solution by recycling batik wax waste so that it does not pollute the environment and can be reused for the batik process. The service activities carried out include training in batik wax processing and outreach to batik makers in the Probolinggo City area. Recycled Wax has good quality so it can be reused for the batik process. Using recycled wax has several benefits, including improving batik quality and reducing production costs. With this community service activity, it is hoped that Mitra can develop his business with higher quality and environmental friendly products and reduce production costs.

Abstract

Kedungbenda Village, Purbalingga, faces agricultural irrigation problems due to dependence on erratic rainfall, especially during the dry season, exacerbated by the El Niño phenomenon. Rain-fed reservoirs are proposed as a solution to increase the availability of irrigation water. Through the rain-fed reservoir scaling-up program, the water storage capacity is significantly increased. As a result, the planting frequency, which was previously only one to two times per year, increased to three times per year, contributing to increased agricultural productivity. The total area of ​​irrigated land also increased, from three to five rice fields per reservoir to a larger area with eight active reservoirs. In addition, the impact of drought was successfully minimized so that farmers could still manage their land even during the long dry season. This program also increased farmers' awareness of the importance of sustainable water management through water management training. However, challenges still exist in terms of reservoir maintenance, especially related to sedimentation. In the future, a more intensive maintenance strategy is needed to maintain the sustainability of the reservoirs.

Abstract

The community service activity conducted at the Sumberwangi Sentra Fish group in Jambewangi Sempu Banyuwangi aimed to address the marketing issues faced by the partner group. Additionally, the activity sought to measure interest and the usefulness of the developed platform to support the program's sustainability. The methods used in this community service included the development of an e-commerce platform, socialization, training, and mentoring. Evaluation of the activity was conducted using instruments in the form of questionnaires to assess interest, the usefulness of technological innovations, and the community service activities. The developed e-commerce platform effectively addressed the partner's marketing challenges. The platform is designed as a web-based application that can be easily accessed via smartphones or directly through the website https://sumberwangisentrafish.com/. The user interface (UI) of the e-commerce platform provides information about products, featuring easily understandable menus that include product displays and detailed information about each marketed item. The interface design focuses on operational ease. Results from the questionnaire indicated that out of 13 respondents, 85% expressed interest and stated that they found the technology and activities to be important, very understandable, and very easy to use, while 75% felt ready to implement digital marketing strategies. In conclusion, the community service demonstrated that the e-commerce platform can enhance the welfare of the partner group and has the potential to support business sustainability.

Abstract

This community service project conducted by the lecturers and students of STIE NU Trate Gresik in Morobakung Village, Manyar District, Gresik Regency, aimed to empower the local women’s group (PKK) through the utilization of used cooking oil as the raw material for producing aromatherapy candles. The project was initiated due to the lack of awareness and skills among the PKK members in managing used cooking oil, which is often disposed of improperly, causing environmental pollution and health risks. The community service activities were carried out in several strategic stages, including initial awareness-raising sessions, forum group discussions (FGDs), practical demonstrations of candle-making, and packaging design training using the Canva application. The novelty of this program lies in transforming used cooking oil into eco-friendly, high-value aromatherapy candles that align with modern lifestyle trends. After the program's implementation, the PKK members acquired the necessary skills to produce high-quality aromatherapy candles and create appealing packaging designs, which helped them to launch sustainable small-scale businesses. This project also contributed to raising environmental awareness and reducing the negative impact of waste oil on the environment. The results indicated significant improvements in the PKK members' environmental awareness and technical skills, particularly in producing, marketing, and packaging candles. The program has created new business opportunities, improved local economic conditions, and fostered sustainable environmental practices in the community. This community service initiative demonstrates a practical solution to environmental issues while empowering local women to enhance their economic independence.

Abstract

The management of lorong wisata as one of the local tourist destinations in Makassar City requires an innovative approach to improve service quality and attractiveness for tourists. Internet of Things (IoT) technology offers an effective solution to integrate a more efficient and modern management system. This service programme aims to implement IoT-based management of tourist corridors, including real-time monitoring of cleanliness, security, and management of public facilities. The method used involves training for local communities in the utilisation of IoT technology and the installation of IoT devices in tourist alleys. The results of the service showed an increase in efficiency in the management of tourist passages, as well as more active community involvement in maintaining and utilising existing facilities. The use of IoT technology is proven to be able to accelerate responses to environmental and operational problems, thereby improving the quality of the tourist experience. In the future, it is hoped that this IoT-based management model can be replicated in other areas to support sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

The ecotourism environment must be kept clean and sustainable for the sake of sustainability and comfort of visitors. Bukit Kebo Tourism Area is one of the many ecotourism and edutourism destinations in Balikpapan City. With the increasing number of visitors (tourists) to Bukit Kebo, it has an impact on the increase in the volume of waste produced. The increase in the volume of waste has not been managed properly, because the waste is only piled up and burned. Where the impact of hoarding can provide the potential for environmental pollution and the results of burning waste also cause pollution. In overcoming these problems, a solution is offered by using the concept of a waste bank to manage waste, as well as providing assistance to partners about the importance of recycling waste. In addition, education is also carried out for visitors to increase awareness and attention about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness through the installation of appeal plaques and campaigns through the distribution of brochures. The results of the responses given by management partners and visitors show quite positive results regarding the impacts given from the results of activities to always maintain environmental sustainability and cleanliness, especially in tourist areas.

Abstract

This Community Partnership Empowerment Program is carried out by the implementing team with CV Diwarna Partners who produce Socks and embroidery products for institutional attributes. In conditions where the production process can be completed quickly and abundantly, it requires efficient and healthy marketing, production and financial management. Partners' priority issues relate to marketing access, productivity, and readiness in the digital ecosystem. For this reason, the ability to increase production is directed by planning and market segmentation. Digital marketing strategies can be used to strengthen market segmentation and reach a wider market. The purpose of this program is to increase the role of Information Technology in marketing and production management. The method of implementation includes socialization, training, application of information technology, mentoring and evaluation. The results obtained are in the form of support for inventory information system applications and digital marketing, as well as increasing the ability and digital literacy of leaders and employees in using these applications. Abstract

Sibetan Village in Karangasem Regency, Bali, has great tourism potential but has not been optimally utilized due to a lack of digitalization and tourism product innovation. This article is the result of community service activities aimed at enhancing the digitalization skills and tourism product innovation of the Sibetan Village community. The training included the use of digital technology in the promotion and management of tourist destinations, as well as the development of unique and sustainable tourism products. The method of implementation consisted of lectures, discussions, and practical sessions. The results showed an improvement in participants' understanding and skills in using digital media for promotion and managing tourism products. Participants also began developing new tourism packages, such as the Bali salak agro-tourism, with more innovative and sustainable approaches. Participant satisfaction with the program was very high, with an average score above 3.8 out of 4 on various evaluation indicators. In conclusion, this program successfully empowered the community to utilize digital technology and tourism product innovation to increase tourism appeal and the economic welfare of the community. Follow-up activities involving intensive mentoring are proposed to optimize the results of the training.
