Abstract

The act of bullying is one of the actions that harm others, some of the bullying acts that usually occur in schools include being able to bully mentally and physically. In this bullying, it can be fatal for the victim, if it occurs continuously for a long period of time, a person's psychological condition will deteriorate to the point that the child's future tendencies can be disturbed. In this case, the role of teachers as educators is not only to provide academic instruction to students but also to provide an understanding of psychological education. So that this act of bullying is prevented from the beginning and it is hoped that there will be no more cases of bullying at school. The purpose of this study is to identify the role of teachers in preventing student bullying in elementary schools. The research method carried out is a literature review method to compile an in-depth conceptual framework. The result of the discussion in this article is that there are several factors that cause bullying, namely kelualrgal, sekolalh, falktor sebalyal group, social environmental conditions, television talyalngaln and medial cetalk. And the results of this research show that the main cause of this bullying habit is temperament.

Abstract

In the digital era, human work can be done more efficiently by using equipment that has been integrated with digital devices, as is the case in the world of education. Education must adapt to development because it cannot be separated from development. This study applies a descriptive qualitative approach and uses observation, interview and documentation data collection techniques. In the modern era, teachers have to be creative. This includes using various technologies and integrating them in the learning process to increase motivation and make learning more unique and interesting. At SMA 1 Teupah Tengah, Simeulue Regency, Islamic education teachers have been able to adapt to digital technology because every learning process uses digital media.

Abstract

This article aims to explore the method of understanding hadith employed by the Banjar scholar, Sheikh Muhammad Nafis al-Banjari (1735–1812 CE), in his renowned work, al-Durr al-Nafis, which is known for its Sufi approach. The study focuses on key concepts such as tawhid al-af’al (the oneness of actions), tawhid al-asma (the oneness of names), tawhid al-shifat (the oneness of attributes), and tawhid al-zat (the oneness of essence). These central themes are rooted in the texts of the Qur'an and hadith, which are interpreted using a Sufi approach. This approach emphasizes intuitive insight derived from the purification of the heart, often prioritizing esoteric meanings over literal interpretations. However, Sufi interpretations are frequently debated, as they are perceived to neglect the literal meanings of hadith. This study employs a qualitative analytical method to describe and analyze this approach, drawing conclusions based on the issues discussed. The findings reveal that Sheikh Nafis’s Sufi-based method of understanding hadith does not always contradict the textual meanings of the hadith. In fact, in several instances, Sheikh Nafis adopts a textual understanding consistent with the methodology of traditional hadith scholars. This research offers new insights into the flexibility of the Sufi method in interpreting hadith and its contribution to the development of hadith exegesis among Banjar scholars.

Abstract

Rahmah El Yunusiyyah views that every woman must be educated, because according to her, in the hands of educated women, a quality generation will be born. For this reason, Rahmah El Yunusiyyah established a special school for women called Perguruan Diniyyah Puteri. This study aims to discuss how Rahmah El Yunusiyyah built the Diniyyah Puteri College and from Rahmah El Yunusiyyah's struggle what characteristics we can emulate as a woman in particular. This research uses the Libarary Research method which uses various literature. There are 18 pieces of literature about Rahmah El Yunusiyyah in this research. To discuss about Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. From the discussion of the research results, it is found that Rahmah El Yunusiyyah founded a school because when she attended her eldest brother Zainuddin Labay's school she felt that not all educational problems could be discussed in the class because of the joining of men and women in one class. For this reason, Rahmah El Yunusiyyah founded the Diniyyah Puteri College on November 1, 1923 when she was 23 years old. In building Diniyyah Puteri, she faced many challenges. But she overcame these challenges with her traits such as commitment to education, ability to deal with failure and optimism in achieving predetermined goals.

Abstract

The education of children plays a crucial role in influencing the values and principles of the future generation, particularly in the face of intricate contemporary issues. The goal of this research is to explore the significance of child education principles found in the Qur'an and Hadith, and how they can be applied in modern education. The research approach employed involves a literature review along with qualitative analysis, collecting information from sources such as the Qur'an, Hadith, and recent scientific publications on child education. The findings demonstrate that in the Islamic viewpoint, children's education places importance on qualities such as morals, knowledge, orderliness, empathy, and setting a good example, while also adapting to technological advancements and societal shifts. The conversation highlights the crucial role of parents and educators in establishing a supportive environment for children's education aligned with religious beliefs. The study's findings suggest that incorporating the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith into children's education is crucial in cultivating a generation that is not only academically proficient but also possesses admirable character in the digital 5.0 age.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the forms of planning, implementation, and the factors influencing the execution of discussion and presentation methods in Islamic Education (PAI) and Character Education (BP) at SMKN 2 Pariaman. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, involving observations and interviews. The findings reveal that the planning of discussion and presentation methods utilizes various learning media, such as the internet, infocus projectors, audio systems, laptops, mobile phones, and PowerPoint, to convey material about hard work. The implementation of this method involves motivation from educators, development of students' talents and interests through organizational activities, and creating a supportive environment for less confident students. Furthermore, the study identifies factors affecting the implementation of these methods, including family, economic, environmental, and physical factors of the students. Efforts to address these challenges include public speaking training, participation in extracurricular activities, and guidance from educators, particularly from counseling services. The findings indicate that the discussion and presentation methods are not only effective in delivering content but also contribute to the development of competencies and learning interests of students at SMKN 2 Pariaman.

Abstract

This research examines the complexities of the food crisis, which is not limited to food availability but also involves interconnected social, economic, and environmental aspects. The study aims to explore the Islamic perspective, particularly the Qur'anic commentary by Imam Al-Qur?ub?, regarding the mitigation of food crises. This research employs a qualitative method through in-depth analysis of Al-Qur?ub?'s commentary, especially the story of Prophet Yusuf, in an effort to find contemporary solutions to food scarcity. The results show that the principles found in Al-Qur?ub?'s commentary, such as long-term planning, effective resource management, strong leadership, and a positive outlook on crises, remain relevant in the current context. This research concludes that the Islamic perspective can make a significant contribution to building a more sustainable and equitable food system. The principles revealed in this study can serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating comprehensive strategies for mitigating food crises. These findings open up opportunities to integrate Islamic values into national food policies.

Abstract

The hadith about the Prophet Moses slapping the Angel of Death has caused controversy among scholars. Although this hadith has a valid sanad and is narrated by a reliable narrator, some scholars argue that its text contains impossibilities and cannot be accepted by reason. This study aims to analyze the various understandings of scholars regarding the hadith of the Prophet Moses slapping the Angel of Death and to find a middle ground to understand it. The method used in this study is qualitative with a library research approach. The results of the study show that the hadith does not contain impossibilities and does not contradict human reason and logic. Differences in views in understanding this hadith do not damage a person's faith, especially since this hadith is not directly related to faith or sharia. However, it should be noted that when faced with a hadith that seems to contradict logic, it is best not to rush to declare the hadith weak, because something that seems to contradict logic to some people may not be so to others.

Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of integration between science and religion in the modern Islamic Education curriculum. In an increasingly advanced and dynamic educational context, there is often a separation between science and religious values, even though both can enrich each other. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the synergy between science and religion can be applied in the Islamic Education curriculum as well as its impact on student character building. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with literature study and observation of the Islamic Education curriculum in several educational institutions. The results showed that the integration of science and religion in the curriculum can form a generation that is not only intellectually superior, but also has a strong moral and spiritual foundation. In conclusion, the application of synergy between science and religion in the Islamic Education curriculum can improve the quality of education and form a balanced person between the mind, heart, and charity.

Abstract

This literature review aims to identify and analyze the significant role of career counseling in schools to prepare students for the dynamic workforce, especially within the context of Islamic education. In an era of globalization and rapid technological advancement, school-based career guidance plays a crucial role in helping students understand their potential and explore available career options. This study reviews the concept of work in Islam, career preparation at different educational levels, career counseling theories, career planning, decision-making, career development, and relevant supporting activities. The approach integrates Islamic ethical and spiritual values as a foundation for career decision-making. The findings indicate that career counseling based on Islamic values can guide students to achieve not only professional success but also contribute positively to society. Therefore, a comprehensive and continuous approach in career counseling can shape individuals who possess good character and are ready to face changes in the job market.
