Abstract

Improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) through the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) is a strategic step to realize quality education. MBS authorizes schools to manage resources openly and involve all relevant parties. This research aims to explore the future potential and long-term impact of the implementation of SBM and human resource development in improving the overall quality of education. The data in this study were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out thematically with an interpretive approach. The results of the analysis show that the success of SBM is highly dependent on the quality of human resources, especially school principals, teachers, and education staff. Efforts to improve the quality of human resources are carried out through various strategies, such as training, certification, professionalism development, and collaboration with external parties. These programs are effective in strengthening teachers' ability to create learning environments that are innovative, supportive, and responsive to student needs. In addition, the provision of motivation, incentives, and support from various parties also plays a role in increasing the work spirit and dedication of educators

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an extracurricular program at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang as an effort to develop students' character based on Islamic values. This research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The subjects of the study consist of 12 individuals, including the vice principal in charge of student affairs, the head of the tahfidz program, teachers, and students participating in the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an program. Data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employs a phenomenological approach by examining phenomena or events occurring in the surrounding environment and life. The process involves three steps: collecting data on the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an extracurricular program, reducing or categorizing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions, followed by validating the data. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an extracurricular program at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang takes place after school activities, focusing on memorization and revision (murojaah). The memorization methods used align with those established at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang and are adjusted to the methods preferred by teachers and students while ensuring recitations adhere to tajweed rules.

Abstract

The inventory of educational facilities and infrastructure involves the systematic and orderly registration of school-owned items into the inventory system. This process is important as it helps schools identify deficiencies and surpluses in facilities. This study aims to examine the process of inventorying educational facilities and infrastructure at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study include data reduction, data display, and data verification. Data validity was tested using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings show that the inventory process for facilities and infrastructure is carried out properly according to procedures, with a computerized system supporting the inventory activities at SMP Negeri 50 Palembang. However, there are some challenges in the inventory activities, such as a lack of human resources skilled in coding due to overlapping work systems and a complicated coding system, which makes data retrieval difficult

Abstract

The management of modern education faces various challenges that continue to develop, especially in the face of technological changes and global needs. The education process now requires a more targeted approach, where various factors, including the quality of teaching, accessibility of education, and adaptation of the curriculum to the needs of the times, are increasingly becoming the main issues. This study uses a qualitative method that aims to describe the conditions that are occurring, the relationship between phenomena, views, processes, results, or certain tendencies in a context. The data collection techniques used are observation, literature study, and documentation. Literature Studies are conducted as a basis to analyze various perspectives and problem solving in education management in modern times. The data produced was analyzed in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results obtained from this study are that a series of solutions are needed which include the construction of equitable educational facilities, the use of technology that can reach remote areas, the improvement of teacher competence and welfare, and curriculum reform that is more responsive to the needs of the times and the world of work to realize the management of modern education in Indonesia

Abstract

This study examines the case of students' lack of awareness of social responsibility encountered in one of the students at the high school level who is the subject of this study. The subject was a 16-year-old female adolescent who experienced problems in arranging extracurricular schedules and doing schoolwork on time. Complaints prompted researchers to look for alternative treatments for how to manage extracurricular schedules and do assignments so that they do not collide with each other when they want to do it and on time. The alternative chosen by the researcher is to provide the application of self-management techniques to the gestalt approach. The method used in this study is Literature Systematic Review (LSR). The results of this study show that the influence of the application of self-management techniques on the gestalt approach is very effective in increasing students' awareness of social responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation and evaluation of comprehensive guidance services for elementary school children based on four main aspects. This study uses a qualitative approach with a participatory method. The subjects of the study were those who were directly involved in the phenomenon analyzed totaling 26 people. The data collection method was carried out through participant observation, interviews, and group discussions. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of comprehensive guidance services for elementary school students has a significant impact on student development in four main aspects, namely academic, social, personal, and career

Abstract

Character education is currently a central issue in the world of education. Wayang Topeng Jombang, with strong historical roots, offers an interesting alternative to enrich the character learning process. This research examines the cultural values of Panji, which is inherited through Wayang Topeng Jombang, can be a source of inspiration in shaping students' characters. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods to explore the deep meaning of Panji's cultural values in Wayang Topeng Jombang. Data were collected through a descriptive qualitative approach. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Panji values found have significant relevance in the context of character education. The implication of this study is the need to develop an educational program that integrates Wayang Topeng Jombang as a learning medium to instill character values in students.

Abstract

Compliance that occurs in new students occurs because of the problem focused coping that good students have and vice versa. This research aims to determine the relationship between problem focused coping and compliance in new students at Sumbawa University of Technology. The approach used in this research is a quantitative type of correlation with product moment correlation data analysis techniques. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between problem focused coping and compliance among new students at Sumbawa University of Technology with a correlation coefficient between the two variables of r = 0.791: p = 0.000 (p < 0.005) which means the higher the problem focused coping, the higher high level of compliance among new students at Sumbawa University of Technology. Likewise, vice versa, the lower the problem focused coping, the lower the compliance of new students at Sumbawa University of Technology.

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika berperan penting dalam penyelesaian masalah sehari-hari. Kepercayaan ini atau self efficacy menjadi faktor penting dalam penyelesaikan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Sewon. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII C dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 22 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan peneliitian korelasional dengan instrumen tes dan non-tes. Instrument tes digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Instrument non-tes berupa angket digunakan untuk mengukur self efficacy siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi dengan menggunakan SPSS diketahui persamaan regresi Y= 6,034 + 0,677X, persamaan ini linear dan signifikan. Pada table coefisien regresi peroleh sebesar 0,027 dimana itu maka ditolak dan diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self efficacy terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Sewon.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of the free association technique in psychoanalysis as a tool to measure and understand the level of individual consciousness Free association, introduced by Sigmund Freud, is a method in which individuals are asked to express thoughts, feelings, and associations that arise without censorship. Through this approach, researchers seek to identify patterns that appear in the subconscious mind that can influence individual behavior and awareness. This study uses a qualitative method with in-depth analysis of the transcript of therapy sessions involving free association techniques. The results of the study show that free association not only helps individuals in expressing internal conflicts, but also provides deeper insights into the structure of their consciousness. These findings are expected to make a significant contribution to the understanding of clinical psychology and psychoanalytic practice, as well as pave the way for the development of more effective therapeutic techniques in increasing individual self-awareness. Thus, this study emphasizes the importance of free association as a diagnostic and therapeutic tool in the context of psychoanalysis
