Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop an e-module based on problem based learning to facilitate students' higher order thinking skills (HOTS) with the material taken being trigonometric comparisons. The research design used in this study was the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects in this study were the development subjects and the product trial subjects. The development subjects were validators and the product trial subjects were students of class X Phase E1 of SMA Negeri 1 Belitang. The results of this study were: (1) the developed e-module obtained very valid criteria with media validity reaching 92% and material validity reaching 93%, (2) the e-module met practical criteria based on the results of student and teacher response questionnaires with practicality reaching 89.5%, (3) the effectiveness of the e-module was seen based on the results of the student posttest with an index percentage of 73.1% with effective criteria.

Abstract

MTs Budi Agung students find it difficult to learn Arabic, even though learning Arabic is very important. This study aims to identify the difficulties of grade VII students of MTs Budi Agung in learning Arabic and the factors that influence it. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with observation and interview data collection techniques. This study involved around 30 grade VII-6 students and Arabic teachers as subjects. Data collection techniques were carried out through participant and non-participant observation and structured and unstructured interviews. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative analysis method with theme analysis techniques. The results showed that students had difficulty in understanding sentence structure, vocabulary, and pronunciation due to lack of learning motivation, parental support, and teacher ability and development of Arabic learning strategies. These factors have an impact on low academic achievement and student learning motivation, so that students have difficulty learning. The results of the study suggest that it is necessary to improve teacher skills, develop interactive learning strategies, improve communication between teachers-students-parents, and provide varied learning resources. This study contributes to the development of Arabic language education in Indonesia and can be used as a reference for teachers and schools to improve the quality of Arabic language learning.

Abstract

A conducive school environment is an important factor in supporting the effectiveness of the learning process. This research is based on the need for a holistic approach in school environment management, especially considering the challenges of globalization and digitalization in the 21st century education era. This research aims to explore the management of the school environment that can create a comfortable, safe, and productive learning atmosphere. This research was conducted using a qualitative research method based on literature review, which includes literature analysis from various reliable sources. The main source of this research is scientific articles published on the Google Scholar database. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the management of the physical environment, such as cleanliness, availability of facilities, and school layout, contributes greatly to student comfort. In addition, social aspects such as interpersonal relationships between teachers, students, and parents, as well as psychological aspects in the form of a sense of security and emotional support, also greatly affect student motivation and achievement. Collaboration between teachers, principals, students, and parents is necessary to create an optimal environment. These results provide important insights for educators to design sustainable and innovative school management strategies

This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques through observation of interactions between parents and children in the school environment. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings indicate that internal factors such as time constraints and understanding of education, as well as external factors such as culture and social pressure, are the main obstacles. Therefore, parent education programs, flexibility in school activities, and more effective communication between parents and schools are needed to increase parental involvement.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the nature school concept at Jogja Green School in supporting character development and soft skills in children with special needs. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation and interview methods, observing the interactions of students, teachers, and nature-based activities such as gardening and farming. The subjects of this research number 25 individuals, and the data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman analysis technique, with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The results of the study showed that the activity was effective in teaching responsibility, discipline, empathy, and other social skills. In addition, nature-based learning has been shown to improve students' understanding of the subject matter in a more concrete and interactive way. Despite the challenges in adapting materials for students with diverse needs, the flexibility of learning methods at Jogja Green School provides opportunities for ABK to develop according to their abilities. This study concludes that the concept of nature schools can be an effective model in inclusive education, with a focus on character development and soft skills that are important for ABK in facing life's challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role and management strategies of students in improving the quality of education. Using a qualitative method based on literature studies, this study collects data from various references such as books, journals, and scientific articles. The main source of data for this study is scientific articles published in various journals and indexed on the Google Scholar database. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that effective student management involves various aspects, including transparent new student admissions, appropriate student grouping, potential development through structured programs, handling student problems, and integrated data and administration management. Good management has a positive impact on learning motivation, student engagement, character formation, and discipline. However, challenges such as limited resources, lack of teacher training, diversity of student characters, and low communication with parents are still obstacles. To overcome this, it is necessary to strengthen the management system, teacher training, use of technology, and collaboration with parents. With effective management, students not only achieve optimal academic results but also develop in terms of character and social skills, supporting the achievement of holistic educational goals.
