Abstract

Internal Quality Audit (AMI) is a key instrument in the education quality assurance system, serving to evaluate and continuously improve service quality. This study examines the implementation of AMI at SMA Negeri 1 Pulau Punjung, a leading high school in Dharmasraya Regency, using a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Kurt Lewin's Total Quality Management and change management theories. The results indicate that the implementation of AMI at this school has been effective, with the formation of an active audit team and follow-up actions based on audit findings. Challenges encountered include limited auditor competency, organizational cultural resistance, and the need to strengthen the use of information technology. AMI has had a positive impact on improving the quality of learning, infrastructure management, and school accreditation. Improvement strategies implemented follow the PDCA cycle, including teacher training, laboratory facility improvements, and the implementation of a digital-based reporting system. This study recommends strengthening auditor capacity, integrating AMI with TQM, and benchmarking with other leading schools to foster a sustainable quality culture in accordance with Islamic values that emphasize continuous evaluation and self-improvement

Abstract

Indonesia boasts a diversity of backgrounds, social, cultural, biological, and religious backgrounds. For the nation's progress, this diversity can be a source of character values. However, if not handled properly, it can also trigger conflict. Therefore, multicultural education must be instilled from an early age. Multicultural education can be taught in elementary schools. This study examined the implementation of multicultural education and its application to the autonomous curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali. Documents, observations, and interviews were used to collect data. The data were reviewed after data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the study's findings, SMA Negeri 1 Polewali students are inclusive and diverse. Educators have responded to this diversity by offering a variety of extracurricular activities and using various learning strategies in the classroom. P5 is implemented with the theme of Diversity. Through these aspects, it can be seen that the instillation of multicultural education at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali is not manifested in specific multicultural subjects but in the various activities carried out at the school. This program is also part of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of multicultural education at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali is relevant to the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of physical education in shaping the character of primary school students. This study uses a qualitative approach with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method on scientific articles published in the last five years (2019–2024). Data were obtained by searching for articles on Google Scholar, ERIC, Scopus, and ResearchGate using the keywords ‘physical education’, ‘character building of students’, ‘primary school’, “TPSR”, and ‘value-based learning’, then selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracted, and analysed thematically. The findings reveal four key points: (1) physical education significantly contributes to fostering discipline, responsibility, cooperation, sportsmanship, and mutual respect; (2) the main character values developed include discipline, personal and social responsibility, sportsmanship, honesty, cooperation, and empathy; (3) effective learning strategies include TPSR, value-based learning, educational games, and cooperative learning; and (4) implementation challenges involve limited teacher competence, inadequate facilities, restricted instructional time, and insufficient support from schools and parents. The study emphasizes the need for improved teacher competence and adequate learning facilities to optimize the role of physical education in character development

Abstract

This study examines the main forms of discrimination, including gender inequality, racial bias, economic barriers, challenges faced by athletes with disabilities, the impact of the industrialisation of sport, and the influence of the Relative Age Effect (RAE). The method used is a literature study covering academic research, international agency reports, policy documents, and case studies. The results of the study show that gender inequality is still evident in the distribution of resources, competition opportunities, leadership positions, and media coverage. Racial bias arises through stereotypes, subjective coaching assessments, and economic inequality. Athletes from low-income families face limitations in accessing quality coaching, facilities, and competitions, while athletes with disabilities often face barriers in accessing adequate facilities and support. RAE also contributes to creating indirect but persistent inequalities in athlete development. These various forms of discrimination have an impact on athletes' psychological well-being, career opportunities, and the effectiveness of sports organisation management. The research findings emphasise the need for inclusive policies, anti-discrimination training, equal access to facilities, transparent selection processes, and more balanced media coverage

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to understand students' perceptions of using English learning YouTube channels to improve vocabulary, viewed from the ease of use of English learning YouTube channels. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive analysis design. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire. The respondents of this study are 8th-grade students at a public junior high school in Airmadidi, North Minahasa, with a total of 130 students. The analysis results show that students' perceptions of the ease of use of the English learning YouTube channel are positive, which can motivate them to improve their vocabulary. Students' perceptions of the usefulness of the English learning YouTube channel are also positive, meaning that the channel can help them in enhancing their vocabulary. Students' perceptions of attitudes towards using the English learning YouTube channel are also positive in improving their vocabulary. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' perceptions of using the English learning YouTube channel are positive, as reflected in the indicators of using the YouTube channel. Consequently, students can use the YouTube channel as an additional means to improve their vocabulary.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Braille counting boxes in improving the ability of visually impaired sixth-grade students at Kanatang State Special School to add numbers between 0 and 100. The background of this study stems from the low mathematics learning outcomes of visually impaired students due to the abstract nature of numerical concepts, which necessitates concrete and tactile learning media to aid understanding. The research used the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with a single subject design and involved a sixth-grade visually impaired student, Evan Clief Kaka (ECK), with a minimum passing grade (KKM) of 75%. The results showed a clear improvement after the intervention using the Braille Counting Box. The student's initial ability in the pre-action was only 35%, then increased to 50% in the post-test of Cycle I, and reached 80% in the post-test of Cycle II, which exceeded the MCC. Observations also noted an increase in the student's fine motor skills and independence, from the adequate category in Cycle I to the good category in Cycle II. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Braille Counting Box is effective in improving the ability to add numbers 0–100 and helps blind sixth-grade students at Kanatang State Special School achieve learning completeness.

Abstract

Job rotation is increasingly recognized as an important strategy in building adaptive organizations, yet its effectiveness on improving employee competencies and career satisfaction in the private sector has not been extensively studied. This study aims to analyze the influence of job rotation on employee competence development, both in terms of technical and behavioral competencies. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with thematic analysis to reveal how job rotation not only moves employees between functions, but also shapes learning experiences that accelerate professional growth. By integrating Kolb's experiential learning theory (1984), Spencer & Spencer's competency model (1993), and Greenhaus et al.'s career satisfaction framework (2010), this study finds that strategically managed job rotation can accelerate competency development and enhance career satisfaction through motivation, clarity of direction, and cross-functional insights. However, unstructured rotation policies may hinder these benefits. This study provides a new perspective on job rotation as a transformative and sustainable career development tool.

Abstract

This study systematically reviews the interaction between phonology and morphology in the formation of Indonesian words and sentences. Indonesian, as an agglutinative language, demonstrates productive affixation processes and systematic phonological mechanisms such as assimilation, elision, and reduplication. This article synthesizes recent scholarly findings to explain how phonological processes influence morphological constructions and how both systems operate together at the morpheme, word, and sentence levels. The methodology employed follows a systematic literature review framework by identifying, selecting, synthesizing, and analyzing empirical studies published in the last decade. Findings show that nasal assimilation, affix productivity, and adaptation of loanwords are central mechanisms shaping Indonesian word formation. In digital communication, phonological reduction and innovative morphological adaptations are increasingly visible. The study concludes that phonology and morphology are inherently interconnected and mutually influence linguistic structure and usage, especially in contemporary digital contexts.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has had a significant impact on students, including an increased risk of cyberbullying among learners. This study aims to examine how creative learning based on poster-making can integrate digital moral values in the Akidah Akhlak subject as an effort to prevent cyberbullying at MTs Sumbersari Kowang. This study employs a qualitative approach. The results of the analysis indicate that students’ understanding of digital morality remains low because previous learning materials tended to be normative and lacked contextual relevance. Poster-making activities provide opportunities for students to express their understanding creatively, thereby potentially enhancing digital literacy and ethical awareness. Challenges encountered include limited time for teacher guidance, low motivation among some students, and minimal parental involvement in digital supervision. These findings emphasize that poster-based learning can be an effective strategy for preventing cyberbullying if supported by collaboration among schools, teachers, students, and parents
