Abstract

Digital transformation requires educational institutions to develop adaptive, effective, and technology-oriented management systems. This study aims to analyse the implementation of strategic management in improving the quality of educational institutions in the era of digital transformation through a literature review. The data sources were books, scientific articles, and research publications relevant to digital education management. The results of the study show that strategic management plays an important role in aligning vision, goals, and operational actions based on data and technology. Its implementation is reflected in the development of digital education programmes, performance-based budget management, the formulation of standard operating procedures, and the strengthening of organisational structures and management information systems. The application of these strategies contributes to improving the quality of learning, governance effectiveness, institutional innovation, and educational competitiveness. However, implementation still faces challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change, and technological literacy gaps. Recommended efforts include strengthening visionary leadership, improving digital competencies, investing in technological infrastructure, and conducting continuous evaluation. This study emphasises that the integration of strategic management and digital transformation is an important foundation for creating excellent and competitive educational institutions in the 21st century.

Abstract

Intercultural communication is the process of conveying messages between individuals or groups with different cultural backgrounds, involving not only linguistic aspects but also values, norms, and attitudes that constitute cultural identity. This study aims to explain the theories and models of intercultural communication through a literature review, including Milton Bennett's Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity (DMIS), Deardorff's model of intercultural competence, and the concept of cultural intelligence introduced by Earley and Ang in 2003. The results of the study show that DMIS helps to understand how individuals respond to cultural differences, while the intercultural competence model emphasises the ability to establish positive relationships in a pluralistic society. Meanwhile, the concept of cultural intelligence explains how individuals can develop adaptive skills in dealing with cultural diversity. Overall, intercultural competence encompasses aspects of attitude, knowledge, skills, and awareness that form the foundation for harmonious interactions between individuals in a diverse cultural context.

Abstract

The development of digital technology presents both opportunities and challenges for parents in assisting early childhood. A lack of understanding about the correct and safe use of digital media often exposes children to inappropriate content and lacks optimal guidance. This study aims to improve parents' understanding of the function of digital parenting, how to provide guidance, and the wise use of digital media for early childhood. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach. The research subjects consisted of parents of students at Pembina Pejagan State Kindergarten, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used technical triangulation. The results of the study indicate that parents' understanding of digital guidance has increased, based on participatory observation and input from participants. Parents increasingly understand the importance of limiting screen time, selecting educational applications, and active communication when children use digital devices. This activity shows that direct education through socialization and guidance successfully improves parents' digital literacy. A practical workshop as a follow-up program is recommended so that parents' skills can continue to develop and be consistently applied within the family environment

Abstract

This article discusses conflict management in utilizing the demographic bonus as a strategic opportunity for sustainable development in the Ministry of Environment and Family Development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach to understand the dynamics of processes, context, and interaction patterns among stakeholders in managing the potential of the productive age group. Research data were obtained from secondary sources, including ministry policy documents, scientific publications, national statistical reports, and strategic documents related to demographic resilience, family planning, human development, and the environment. Data collection was conducted through literature review, document analysis, and examination of official reports. Data analysis employed content analysis techniques through the process of coding, categorization, and meaning extraction. The study results indicate that conflicts are generally triggered by mismatches between institutional capacity, labor market needs, and the quality of the working-age population, and are further reinforced by disparities in access to education, healthcare, and women's economic participation. These findings underscore that integrative conflict management through cross-sector collaboration, governance strengthening, and data-driven planning is key to optimizing the demographic bonus and supporting sustainable development goals

Abstract

Recruitment practices in various Islamic educational institutions still face a number of challenges. This study aims to analyze the concept, principles, and implementation of employee recruitment in Islamic educational institutions from the perspective of human resource management based on Islamic values. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review, drawing data from journals published by google scholar, researchgate, garuda, and sinta, published between 2020-2025, related to Islamic education management. Data collection was conducted throught documentation, and data analysis was conducted using content analysis. The findings indicate that an ideal recruitment process in Islamic education must adhere to the principles of amanah (trustworthiness), justice, professionalism, transparency, and anti-nepotism, as emphasized in QS. Al-Qashash verse 26. The desired employee criteria include professional competence, Islamic personality, spirituality, and social skills. The implementation in various Islamic educational institutions shows that although these Islamic recruitment principles have been applied, challenges remain—such as limited resources, lack of standardized procedures, and minimal utilization of digital technology in the selection process

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the utilization of animated videos as a learning medium in social studies instruction on cultural diversity for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research is motivated by the predominance of conventional teaching methods that tend to reduce student engagement and enthusiasm. Using a literature review method, this study examines national scientific articles sourced from Google Scholar, academic journals, and other relevant documents. Data were analyzed through qualitative content analysis to identify patterns, similarities, and differences in findings related to learning motivation, conceptual understanding, and learning outcomes. The results indicate that animated videos positively influence students’ motivation, conceptual comprehension, and learning performance. This medium facilitates teachers in explaining abstract concepts of Indonesia’s cultural diversity in an engaging and communicative manner. However, challenges such as limited resources and teachers’ skills in developing or selecting appropriate animated materials remain. Overall, animated videos are proven to be effective in fostering active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experiences in elementary social studies classrooms

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of digitalization on family communication in the Kajang Luar Community, focusing on adaptation, problems, and its influence on harmony and the preservation of local cultural values. A descriptive qualitative approach was used with four informants from various family members who actively use digital technology. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documents, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, and validated through member checking. The results show that digitalization, particularly the use of smartphones, WhatsApp, and video calls, facilitates long-distance communication but creates challenges such as over-dependence, reduced face-to-face interaction, and conflict. Nevertheless, Kajang Luar families have successfully adapted by maintaining cultural values through Pasang ri Kajang and gadget usage guides, and utilizing technology to introduce traditions. This study reveals social changes due to modernization and the importance of technology management for family harmony and cultural preservation

Abstract

This article examines the role of cross-cultural psychology in education through a literature review using a qualitative descriptive method. Data sources were obtained from various national scientific journals and academic books discussing cross-cultural psychology, multicultural education, and educational psychology. The analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, synthesis of findings, and interpretation of conceptual meanings to construct an integrative framework. The findings reveal that cultural adaptation, intercultural communication, and multicultural education are key components that influence the quality of learning in diverse environments. Cultural adaptation enables students to adjust to differences in values and ways of thinking, while cross-cultural communication helps foster more empathetic interactions and reduces potential conflict. Additionally, strengthening multicultural character through the cultivation of tolerance, cooperation, and appreciation for diversity supports students in navigating life within a pluralistic society. Overall, cross-cultural psychology serves not only as a theoretical foundation but also as a practical guide for creating learning environments that are inclusive, adaptive, and sensitive to cultural diversity. This approach contributes to shaping learners who are open-minded, multicultural, and prepared to live harmoniously amid global change.
