Abstract

The digital economy training organized for Sehati MSMEs in Hulu Banyu Kandangan, Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency, aims to empower MSME players to utilize digital technology to grow their businesses. The training consisted of two main sessions conducted over two weeks. In the first session, participants learned digital marketing strategies, while the second session focused on creating promotional media in the marketplace using the Canva application. Evaluation showed significant improvements in participants' technological knowledge and skills. A total of 20 participants successfully created digital content, managed social media accounts, and opened e-commerce accounts on platforms such as Shopee and Tokopedia. In addition, the service team also provided the UMKM Sehati website, two training modules, and a POS application to support daily business activities. Questionnaire results showed that 70% of participants felt more confident in using digital technology, and 65% rated the training facilities as very adequate. This training is expected to improve the competitiveness of local products and community welfare through digital technology-based MSME empowerment. Thus, this activity not only strengthens the local economy but also preserves local wisdom through technological innovation.

Abstract

The program "Empowerment of Elementary School Teachers through Literacy Training to Develop a Multimodal Text-Rich Environment" aims to improve teachers' understanding and skills in integrating multimodal texts in learning. The methods used include preliminary studies, direct training, mentoring, and evaluation. The partner in this program is MIS Asasuttahdzibiyah in Tegalwaru District, Karawang Regency. The materials trained include the introduction of literacy and multimodal texts, the development of a multimodal text environment based on students, classes, and schools, as well as the formation of teacher study groups. The success factors of the program include comprehensive material delivery, interactive teaching methods, practical technical guidance, collaboration between teachers, and continuous evaluation. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in five main indicators of teacher skills, namely concept understanding, ability to integrate texts, use of technology, creativity in creating teaching materials, and collaboration. The outputs of this activity include improving teachers' skills, publishing training results, and forming a sustainable learning community to continue to support literacy development in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pelatihan Emotional Spiritual Quotient (ESQ) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan resiliensi guru di SMP PGRI Pangkalan, Karawang dalam menghadapi tantangan era Society 5.0. Pemilihan topik ini didasarkan pada pentingnya ketahanan emosional dan spiritual bagi guru yang bekerja dalam lingkungan yang penuh dengan perubahan teknologi dan tuntutan tinggi. Metode pengabdian meliputi persiapan dan perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan melalui lokakarya awal, sesi pelatihan praktis, serta pendampingan dan konsultasi. Evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan untuk mengukur dampaknya terhadap kemampuan pengelolaan emosi, tingkat stres, dan adaptasi teknologi para guru. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru mengelola emosi dan stres, serta keterampilan dalam menggunakan teknologi untuk pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ESQ terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan resiliensi guru, yang berkontribusi pada kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik di era Society 5.0. Keberlanjutan program ini didukung oleh evaluasi berkala, pengembangan modul lanjutan, dan pembentukan komunitas praktik antar guru.

Abstract

The background of this service is to improve the knowledge and understanding of political students at Universiti Sains Malaysia so that they can have knowledge and understanding of the importance of the role of technology such as poster media in political education. Through the questionnaire that has been given, this service can prove that with the socialization, students can better understand the role of posters as a means of political education both in Indonesia and in Malaysia. Students increasingly understand that many perspectives of society consider the existence and meaning of politics as something positive, and there are also those who consider politics to be something negative. In fact, political science is very important to learn because consciously or not, politics actually influences most of human life in society and the state. Through politics, people's lives depend on the decisions taken in it. For that political education is very necessary, one of which is through posters.

Abstract

Waste burning smoke is very dangerous for the health of living things, so this needs to be minimized in order to maintain a healthy environment. Smokeless Burn Barrel is a simple tool specifically designed to minimize the smoke of burning waste. The purpose of writing this article is to build public awareness of the importance of maintaining environmental health, especially regarding the impact of smoke from burning garbage; provide knowledge as well as a demonstration of the Smokeless Burn Barrel tool as an alternative solution to minimize smoke from burning garbage using the Smokeless Burn Barrel; and find out about the difference between burning garbage in general by the community and the combustion process using the Smokeless Burn Barrel tool. The method that can be done is by conducting socialization and demonstration using the Smokeless Burn Barrel tool. The results that can be obtained show that the community knows about the impact of smoke from burning waste; knows the Smokeless Burn Barrel tool directly as an alternative solution to minimize smoke from burning waste; and knows the difference between burning waste in general by the community and the combustion process using the Smokeless Burn Barrel tool.

Abstract

Tourism in the Thousand Islands has shown how important it is for the social, economic and cultural life of the local population. However, on the other hand, it has a negative impact on various aspects of community life that are not in accordance or contrary to the social, cultural and religious structure of the community itself. As an educational tourism destination, the Thousand Islands needs mapping and development of various aspects of its tourism, including religious tourism objects. So that the involvement of the Indonesian Ulema Council in this service activity has had a positive impact on the community, this can be seen from the results of the final evaluation of activities in the first year which showed a very good response. However, the success of the program achievements that have been implemented is only through counseling and cannot be seen in the concrete form of the achievement of moderate tourism indicators after the counseling is carried out. So, it is hoped that in the future the target indicators of moderate tourism (non-violence, adaptive to culture, tolerant, and national commitment) can be implemented as expected.

Abstract

The problems faced in learning Arrabic language include students' poor motivation and interest in learning. Teachers are expected to be able to create a method, media or learning strategy that can make students active in the learning process. Ice breaking is one of the solutions offered by the author for Arabic language learning at Daarul Ma'arif Islamic Boarding School in Pasawahan Purwakarta. Teachers at the pesantren noticed that students from groups who have introverted personalities must be sought to be active in learning, and the solution is to implement ice breaking in between Arabic lessons. This study aims to overcome the problem of less active students, especially those with introverted personalities in learning Arabic. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which is by first identifying problems that exist in the field and then giving action as a solution to overcome these problems. The results obtained from this study are that it is proven that the implementation of ice breaking in Arabic language learning either at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of learning is able to make students actively involved in learning, this ice breaking begins by making them happy in a game atmosphere, then focused and mentally ready to follow Arabic language learning.

Abstract

The 2023 Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) indicates a 5.6% prevalence of obesity among adolescents, while national obesity in adults has risen to 23.4%. High consumption of Sugar-Sweetened Beverages (SSBs) among adolescents is a risk factor for obesity and other chronic diseases.To address this issue, a community service program was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Tenggarong with the aim of improving nutrition literacy and reducing SSB consumption. The program involved 30 students and employed an action research design with a cross-sectional approach.Evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test questionnaires containing 10 questions to assess nutrition literacy and SSB consumption. The Wilcoxon test was used to analyze differences in knowledge scores before and after the education intervention.Results showed a significant improvement in students' nutrition literacy after participating in the program. This program is expected to contribute to raising awareness about the negative impacts of SSBs and promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors among adolescents.

Abstract

The integration of Pancasila values ​​in education faces various challenges, especially in the era of globalization, digitalization and social change. Today's students are exposed to a variety of external influences that can influence the understanding and application of these values. Globalization brings the influx of foreign cultures which often conflict with local values, including Pancasila. Implementation of the creative economy through recycled design can have a positive impact on local economic development. Student involvement in creative economic activities not only enriches their skills in the fields of design and production, but can also become social capital that supports community development. This research aims to find out how p support P5 in forming sustainable character through recycling creative economy training at SMAN 2 Sangatta Utara. The research method used in the research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara. The informants in this research were Deputy Head of Curriculum, Subject Teacher, Students of North Sangatta 2 High School. Data collection was carried out using documentation, observation and interview techniques. Based on research results, it shows that this program provides space for students to gain a holistic learning experience, supporting character formation based on Pancasila values. Creativity and environmental awareness through recycled design shows students' ability to think creatively and innovatively. Through preparing teaching modules, monitoring activities, and evaluating programs, teachers ensure that P5 objectives are achieved effectively. With this approach, the environmental culture that has become part of the school's vision is increasingly embedded in students' lives, both through intracurricular and extracurricular activities. The P5 program has a significant impact on student character formation. They become more confident, responsible, and able to work together in a team. The implementation of P5 which is integrated with creative economy learning and recycling design gives students the freedom to develop their own potential according to their interests

Abstract

This study aims to develop an effective method for teaching Arabic vocabulary to children in Wanayasa Village using an interactive approach. The research focuses on the use of media such as songs, flashcards, and educational games to improve students' understanding and interest in learning Arabic. Initial observations revealed that children in Wanayasa Village had limited proficiency in Arabic vocabulary and considered Arabic to be a difficult and boring subject. Therefore, this mentoring program was designed to introduce Arabic vocabulary through engaging activities that encourage active student participation. The results of the study show that the interactive method increased children's involvement in learning, improved their vocabulary comprehension, and changed their perception of Arabic to a more positive one. Evaluations conducted after the mentoring sessions indicate a significant improvement in the mastery of the vocabulary taught. These findings support the theory that varied and enjoyable teaching methods can enhance motivation and learning outcomes, particularly in Arabic language instruction. This study recommends the use of interactive methods as an effective alternative.
